We had access to BLoved at Catalonia Grand Costa Mujeres via the privileged room we booked. This wound up being our favorite restaurant at the resort. We dined outside each time we went and had the pleasure of being served by Gustavo. He was fantastic. Friendly and attentive each time. We had breakfast there three mornings and lunch once. The food was great and consistent each time. Highly recommend.

Delicious food, very attentive service from our waitress Yareni and the owner Freddy was very welcoming. He offered me a most delicious homemade sauce with my steak. Very romantic atmosphere by the beach. I highly recommend!

This restaurant is located within the Catalonia hotel and please be advised that this is only reserved for Privileged members (depending on what type of room you are staying in). If you are not staying at the hotel you will not be able to have access to this area. Me and my family went here for both dinner and breakfast, in that order. During the dinner we were warmly greeted by our waiter, Fred. The place was well-decorated and had a lovely ambiance, but the starters were a little underwhelming. I recommend the salads, but stay away from the spinach ravioli. The main course looked beautiful but it unfortunately the flavors did not live up to its looks. As a New Yorker, do not be fooled: the New York Steak was literally just normal steak on a fancy plate. The stuffed chicken was more sweet than savory, and the bass had the strangest umami taste to it that I still cannot describe. As for dessert, the sherbet was god awful and only the chocolate coulant was decent. Dinner was mediocre at best and none of us felt full after the tiny portions. The best part was that it was included in the hotel package, so there were no checks or tips needed. But that was a ridiculously underwhelming meal that disappointed all of us. Fortunately, breakfast was a much more pleasant ordeal. The weather was pleasant so we were seated outside, which I definitely recommend. The staff were nice and quick to greet us, especially Damian who introduced himself to us and helped get our drinks quickly. The food was also better than the dinner, particularly the avocado toast which was incredibly tasty. The yogurt tasted like sour cream and the fruit were a little speckled, but it was overall a great experience. Unfortunately service lacked a little as a waitress spilled her tray of drinks all over me. Yeah. Wasn’t great. And the staff were also ridiculously uncoordinated, as we had three different waiters ask us what drinks we would like and we told them three times that we had already ordered our lattes. But after a long wait our food did come, and it was pretty filling. The seafood was fresh and the pancakes were also nice, but the only reason you would ever want to eat here is for the view of the beach or if every other restaurant was full booked and you and your family were on the verge of starvation.
