Opiniones de Green Burrito Capitola
The biscuit and gravy burrito was really good and super filling without being too heavy. We also tried the sausage and egg burrito, which was simple but solid, and the cinnamon roll was a great sweet finish. Everything tasted fresh and hit the spot. I would definitely come back for breakfast again.
The sausage and egg biscuit sandwich was the bomb! So good I wish I could have one every day. As a tourist from the BVI, I had looked online for places to eat and saw this sandwich and wanted to try it. It did not disappoint! I definitely recommend it! My husband had a burrito and also said it was fantastic!
If i could give more then 5 stars I would!!! I would like to start off by saying that I was a chef for a long time, and the food scene in Santa Cruz could definitely be better, and I’m always looking for places that strive to be different and of course really good, and reliable. I’ve eaten here multiple times (I live a block away) and everytime the food is phenomenal and the staff are always nice and respectful which goes a long way with me! So if you’re looking for a staple place to eat breakfast and lunch and/or for a catering event, this place has you covered for sure!!! VERY GOOD!!!
This place is everything you’ve heard and an amazing cinnamon roll to top it off! I saw a Tik Tok raving about a biscuits and gravy burrito and they did not undersell it whatsoever. Whoever thought of this delicious monstrosity deserves a raise. We also ordered a cinnamon roll for the kids, and it was difficult leaving it or then after having a taste. Definitely going back. Definitely recommend. It ain’t cheap, but it was the burrito was bug enough to share. Grok says: The business was founded by chef Ty Pearce, a Santa Cruz County native who grew up in the restaurant industry (his parents owned a Bay Area spot) and honed his skills at culinary school before traveling Europe. Pearce returned to the area to raise his family and launched Busy Bee’s catering side first, which quickly gained traction for events. The full cafe opened in late 2021 (initially targeting fall 2021), starting with weekend brunch and expanding from there. By early 2023, it had added a patio and broader hours, evolving into a hybrid cafe-caterer model. Busy Bee’s menu features generous portions of balanced, flavorful dishes—think farm-fresh salads, stacked sandwiches, and creative burritos. Everything is made with high-quality, seasonal ingredients, including vegan and gluten-free options. Popular picks include: • Breakfast: Bossy Bee Burrito (bacon, potato, egg, avocado), Old Faithful Burrito, biscuits, and breakfast bowls. Reviewers rave about the fresh, non-greasy burritos and amazing cinnamon rolls. • Lunch/Sandwiches: Capitola (a local favorite), Bountiful Turkey, Club, BLTA, Turkey Twister, and Hikers Delight (a veggie-packed option). Sandwiches come on assorted fresh breads with huge portions—often enough for two meals. • Salads: Farmers Market Salad (shredded carrots & cabbage, tomato, cucumber, pickled beets, avocado, mixed beans, toasted seeds, herbed greens) or the Green Goddess with spring mix, eggs, beets, and nuts. • Desserts & Bakery: Fresh-baked goods like donuts, cinnamon rolls, and seasonal treats. • Catering: Custom options for events, from vegan arepas (e.g., Korean braised tofu) to full spreads, with a nod to local collabs like donut sandwiches. Prices are reasonable for the quality—expect $10-15 for mains—and the food is praised for being hearty yet healthy, without overwhelming any single flavor.
I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. Hands down the best Cinnamon Roll I've ever had and the top 3 best Breakfast Biscuit Sandwiches I've had. Absolutely amazing and so glad I found this place when looking for a good breakfast sandwich!! They have other options that I'm sure are delicious but I would come back just for these alone.
Love, love, love Busy Bee’s, everything is great! My favorite is the biscuit’s and gravy burrito, Stinger Bee, and the Reuben, with a cinnamon roll as the side. Their green salsa is also delicious. Plenty of tables and umbrellas making it easy to bring your dog or kids. Orange juice is great. (Only complaint the coffee).
Amazing Food! It was our first time trying it. I cannot wait to go back! I definitely recommend. It's a little bit of a wait, but definitely worth it.
DELICIOUS! The cinnamon roll pictured does not do it justice, it was divine. We also ordered a breakfast sandwich and basic bee bowl. Biscuits were flaky and everything was cooked to perfection. Staff was super friendly and there is a great dog-friendly patio outside. The menu for lunch also looked great, we will have to try that next time! There is no inside seating.
This place is worth the hype. We tried a variety of things: Benedict burrito, breakfast bowl, avocado toast, cinnamon roll and biscuit. All were delicious. Will definitely be back to try more. The place was buzzing the entire time we were there. Expect a line but fast service
My wife and son came here and all had the the biscuit sandwich it was the best breakfast sandwich we had ever its a mmust-try comfort food elevated by excellent execution and fresh, quality ingredients. It’s a perfect grab-and-go option or a sit-down indulgence that hits all the right notes.
Phenomenal breakfast/brunch spot! Cinnamon rolls will not disappoint!! Portions are HUGE and everything is made so fresh and hot. You can tell the biscuits are made from scratch. Breakfast burritos are packed with bacon-they definitely don’t skimp on filling their burritos. Staff is super friendly and service is always quick!
The Ruben burrito was amazing and a pretty excellent cinnamon roll. This place was recommended by a friend and it didn't disappoint. Still definitely come back and try their biscuits. 😋
Busy Bee’s is the best breakfast burrito spot in Capitola/Santa Cruz Area They have great customer service and the food was incredible. I forgot to take a picture in the beginning because that first bite looked so great. Don’t let me get started on the salsa verde *Chefs kiss*
This place is absolutely amazing! If you haven’t tried it, you need to check it out. The people are incredibly kind and the food is delicious. We’ll be here probably every weekend. Great breakfast burritos & the cinnamon roll is a must.

This place is absolutely fantastic. Terrific breakfast burritos and the slam-dunk all world cinnamon roll champion! The folks behind the counter make you feel welcome and the vibe is warm and friendly. The outdoor seating area is cozy and lovely in good weather, might want to get it to go in the rain. We are SO happy to have Busy Bee here - I will often grab a bite after a workout next door at the gym. Gotta earn that cinnamon roll, after all…
Love the creative burrito ideas ! Specially the biscuits and gravy burrito ! But they could spread the ingredients around more; last time I got the eggs Benedict burrito, the hollandaise sauce was all in one side and it wasn’t that good.
The staff is so sweet! Best salads in town, they actually fill me up! Love their breakfast burritos and sandwiches too!

Popped in for a quick weekday breakfast and damn did they deliver! I ordered one of their customizable breakfast bowls, and every bite was spot on — fluffy eggs, perfectly cooked potatoes, savory sausage, fresh kale, rich hollandaise, and a kick of salsa to tie it all together. The food came out hot and fast, and the service was super friendly. Absolutely recommend this spot — I can’t wait to come back and bring my husband next time!
4.2/5 for the thanksgiving dinner. Flavor was good but they skimped on the turkey. I enjoyed the sandwich and the staff was also pretty friendly.
Service was great. Food was all cook really well, but it lacked flavor. Even just pepper and salt. Cinnamon roll was also cook perfect but the frosting also had no flavor. Ok tried again and got the spicy burrito. Amazing!
Most of the food is amazing and the coffee is good, we loved the cinnamon rolls and the sandwiches! (the bread is soooo good) But I wouldn't recommend the burritos. I got the eggs Benedict burrito, it was really over salted and the most of the potatoes inside were burnt. Had to eat around sections of the burrito, and for $15 a burrito that is a big disappointment. But I'll still be back for the other items, they really are a GREAT addition to the neighborhood. Can't stop telling people about the bread.

Very sweet employees, food was ok. Need to try something else next time then I can rate the food. It was my first time there, I did not care for the burrito I got.it does not mean it was bad, just not for me and I love biscuits and gravy. I guess I just don't like them in a burrito.
