This place is great! Kid friendly, many different breakfast options, staff was super friendly and the food came out reasonably quick. I had the steak and eggs with potatoes and sourdough. We decided it was so good we went 2 days in a row. Would highly recommend 👌

I've been dining at the Wagon Wheel since 1976! Never disappoints! My 103 year old grandmother would pester me for the scrumptious French toast and their hollandaise sauce has no rival. It's always been a sanctuary for us locals. Bravo 👏 for almost 50 years of the best quality of food, service and valley vibes!

I've been coming here for years. They have the best breakfast anywhere. Very tradition--eggs, pancakes, etc. Service is always friendly and the food is always stellar.

The breakfast here was terrific. Pancakes, eggs and bacon were terrific. We heard the French toast and Italian sausage are great too. Only complaint is that the home fries were undercooked which is a bummer.

Old western style restaurant Ambiente. We had breakfast. Bacon and eggs, eggs Benedict with biscuits and gravy, French toast and pancakes. Everything was excellent. The walnut and banana oatmeal pancakes were exceptional. The best breakfast we had during our 3 weeks travel through California.

10/5 stars!!! Service was so friendly and quick, food came out hot and fast, and everything was delicious! Pancakes were sublime, bacon on the side was perfect, even the fresh berries were flavorful. Would definitely return here again and again!

From the beginning of entry Daniel and his staff were very friendly and accommodating! They provided our family of (9) during busy time seating arrangements to keep us all together. Fast friendly service and pair it all with great food!!

This is our regular stop when visiting Carmel Valley. Love the loads of funky cowboy decor, the local vibe and warm service. Now to the food: consistently generous portions of down home breakfast dishes. We have worked our way through the menu on various visits and it’s all delicious. Nothing fancy but that’s why we go.

This is the real deal. A western/ country cafe that is part of the Carmel Valley history (not a retro makeover). The plate size oatmeal walnut pancakes fill me up— something a little sweet but stays with you all morning. Eggs Benedict are done perfectly as well. Bring Cash. Get there before around 9 to beat the rush (or after 11)

Both were really good and the two pancakes were so big that I couldn't eat it all! One thing to note is that they only take cash or Venmo.
