You first delve into the history of five generations of restaurateurs who, with a crescendo of passion and expertise, live the local area while also embracing connections with foreign countries. Then you'll be captivated by the selection of excellent raw materials: French and Italian cheeses and wines, meats, cured meats, spirits, and more. Of course, it's also a pleasure to have this entire journey explained, presented, and detailed by family members and their collaborators in a professional, kind, and engaging manner. There's no shortage of themed evenings, such as one featuring boiled meats. Hosteria della Vapore also satisfies cigar and spirits enthusiasts. But amidst all this, it's essential to leave room for dessert and indulge in homemade cakes and pastries.

Business lunch with a good variety of dishes, which go beyond the usual proposals. The dishes are of excellent quality and the environment is very interesting, with stone walls and retro furniture. The prices are normal, but I assure you that the meal is much higher than the standard. The table service is precise, polite, fast and helpful. Osteria 100% recommended.

As usual, a guarantee of quality! As usual, the food was excellent. The appetizer featured quality cured meats and a veal with tuna sauce, super delicate in its meat and a balanced cream. The first course was tagliatelle with Chianina ragù, superb. For the second course, lamb chops with polenta were simply sublime. Dessert included a chocolate tart with a melted chocolate and pistachio center, a poetic finish. The wine cellar is well-stocked and the staff is always ready to advise and recommend wine pairings... Fine wines, even by the glass... For enthusiasts, there's also a cigar room... Recommended!

Locale dal punto di vista delizioso, sale ampie belle e intime! Ben curato! Originale la presenza della 'cagar room' ottimo cibo dall'antipasto offerto, i primi e i secondi! Il vino la parte migliore 🍷🍾 il cameriere sa esattamente cosa consigliare e sa di cosa parla ottima impressione.. L'unica nota che poi non è neanche negativa è la troppa cordialità non essendoci abituata mi sono sentita un po' a disagio.. Ritorneremo sicuro 😳

I dine here quite often. The dishes are always good; the cured meats and cheeses are high-quality, as are the wines (in various price ranges). The must-try, in my opinion, is the egg and taleggio cheese pot, but beyond that, you'll be satisfied with any dish you order.

I'd heard great things about this place, both for the food and the wine list, so we decided to go after a tasting in Franciacorta. We ordered a bit of everything: the onion soup, the cured meat and cheese platter, and especially the meat. We took their advice and, from memory, chose the Danish. The appetizers were all good, nothing to write home about, but everything was good. The meat was more than good, objectively. It didn't seem like a kilo, so we asked, and the owner confirmed it was 800g. Okay, let's move on. We got to the dessert, which I wasn't entirely convinced by; their ice cream was decidedly too heavy. But so far, flavors aside, nothing to complain about. We paid the bill and noticed they'd listed 1kg of meat instead of 800g. We pointed this out to the owner (who had previously told us the actual weight), who immediately corrected the bill. I wouldn't dare say it was done on purpose, but you have to be more careful about these things because they influence your opinion of a place. I'll finish with the wine list: in terms of bottles, quality and quantity, but in terms of glasses, the selection is limited and expensive.

We had very high expectations, but we were disappointed with our experience... the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, but for such a high-end venue, I expected at least clean wine glasses. We opted for the tasting menu, which I don't recommend because it's not worth the money for the food they served. The red wine they offered wasn't good at all, despite being very expensive... I also don't recommend the coconut cheesecake. The location, however, is very beautiful, though very niche.

Unfortunately, despite my dinner reservation, which was confirmed by them and a reminder to make sure I didn't forget, the restaurant was closed when I arrived. The person who answered the doorbell told me they'd finished at 5:00 PM and sent the cooks home. I think, in fact, I'm certain they'll never see us again.
