Bar and Gelateria Igloo in Celle Ligure left a lasting impression on our family. The owner's genuine care and welcoming atmosphere, which extended to our dog, made the visit truly special. Alongside generous portions, excellent gelatos, and delightful Italian-style aperitivos, this place offers a unique and heartwarming experience. Despite inflation, the prices remained reasonable.

I came to this ice cream shop after reading a post on the Celle Facebook group. And after checking out GMyB. Well... I even had a doubt that the much-vaunted place wasn't this one... But it was all right. I went in "on faith," let's say, asking for a gelato sundae to eat at the table. After consulting the menu (there's no photo...), I ordered the Piatto Estate. Another positive note: one of the few gelato shops that makes elaborate gelato sundaes... the kind, so to speak, popular in the '70s and '80s and now quite rare to find. A few minutes' wait, and there was the very kind owner with my gelato! A feast for the eyes!!! The flavors: cream, strawberry, green apple. Delicious! The whipped cream was excellent! The fruit was so fresh! Delicious is an understatement! A note for those who are lactose intolerant (no dairy) like me: no nausea, a "light" gelato (even the cream), no feeling of heaviness after eating it. I'll be happy to come back! P.S.: Very casual place... Go there without expectations... After all, we're on vacation!!

I've only had gelato here, but they also serve bar and aperitifs. The gelato is delicious. I'd definitely go back. They're on a street right in front of the sea, just past a well-equipped park. If you want, do what I do: escape the heat of the hottest hours by the beach and come for a delicious gelato. They also have outdoor seating. The place needs a good makeover, it really needs it. Air conditioning would also be a big help. The manager and staff are very friendly. Low prices! Well done 😃

I stumbled upon it by chance, searching online. We decided to get some gelato in the afternoon, and I can only say that I couldn't taste the flavors we'd ordered. In fact, my pistachio and Nutella tasted like rosemary, and the Nutella was simply cocoa. The lady who served us was clearly confused, asking for instructions several times, and also making a mistake about the total price. It was a negative experience for us.
