Esperienza davvero unica! A partire dal vino consigliato per ogni singola portata, davvero eccezionale. Tartatar con guacamole di avvocato mi ha stupito per la sua delicatezza in bocca, con gamberi puliti e serviti con citronette di olio e limone. Straordinario come piatto. I ravioli delicati e molto buoni. Con la lavorazione dell'impasto fatto in casa, la cosa che apprezzo di più di questo piatto. Servizio rapido. Molto attenti sul come si spiega ogni singola pietanza. Complimenti anche per il pane di segale che è stato davvero buono. Grazie davvero di tutto. Ci tornerò presto.

From the moment we arrived at Harry’s Bar, my 91-year-old mother and I were welcomed so warmly that we immediately knew we had made the right choice. Jordano accompanied us every step of the way, listening attentively to my mother, asking her thoughtful questions, and showing genuine care and kindness. She was glowing. Our servers were discreet yet incredibly warm, helping us create a truly perfect afternoon lunch. The setting was elegant but comfortable, with beautiful quality tablecloths and excellent glassware. We enjoyed a lovely view of the piazza and the lake, which added to the sense of calm and occasion. The food was outstanding and of the highest quality. A detail that truly stood out was that the plates were heated, ensuring the food arrived warm and stayed that way—something that reflects real attention to excellence. This is, without question, the friendliest and most elegant staff I have encountered since moving to Italy. When friends visit, I will bring them to Harry’s Bar, knowing they will be well cared for and have a truly gorgeous moment.

I am not sure why Harry’s reviews aren’t much higher. We took an another couple here and we all agreed that it is a must try place in Lake Como. Our favorite dish was the White Truffle Pasta!! Also enjoyed all the dishes in the picture we shared. We will be coming back to try more dishes!

Visited with a large group for dinner. Had several options to choose from in a 3 course meal - one vegetarian of each available (appetizer, main, desert). Was a little skeptical at first with the vegetarian dishes especially two with tomatoes but at first taste, I was blown away! Mozzarella and Roma/cherries as well as the tomato pasta sauce each tasted so fresh, unique and divine! Loved everything about the meal.

We were very lucky to have gotten a table at Harry’s Bar because the place is always booked. Thanks to Jason, the manager, for being on the lookout and flagging us down after a cancellation so that we could enjoy one of the best meals we had while staying at the nearby Villa D’Este. Despite the name, we enjoyed an authentic Italian meal based on a menu from of local catches from Lake Como. The views of the lake are spectacular and the service is top notch. We really enjoyed our piano player as well.

Great food and service and great views of lake Como. Reasonably priced with great options for meat and fish. My husband and I split Parma ham and lasagne as starters I had the veal Milanese and he had the curry prawns which were exceptionally good. Cosmo and special cocktails were fantastic. Suggest a broader wine by glass list.

Absolutely outstanding! Don’t let the Google ratings fool you — Harry’s Bar deserves a full 5 stars without question. The food was authentic, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. We had the Caprese salad, foie gras to start, and it was perfection. The steak was cooked exactly to our liking, tender and rich, and the pasta was just as incredible. The service? Truly 5-star. Warm, attentive, and professional throughout the entire meal. We felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. This place is a hidden gem that completely exceeded expectations. Can’t wait to come back — Harry’s Bar is a must-visit!

I really don’t understand the negative opinions here! This restaurant is absolutely amazing — the food is five stars! The atmosphere and service are top-notch, and the view is incredibly beautiful. For a romantic dinner, it’s the best spot in this small city. I would gladly recommend this place with pleasure!

Questo ristorante è una istituzione a Cernobbio. Il mio piatto preferito gamberi curry e riso, Un consiglio è arrivata a l’ora di mandare in pensione il cameriere anziano con i capelli bianchi, versa l’acqua con la mano storta sbrodola tovaglia con acqua vino, un modo di fare annoiato poco attento al cliente, si paga 15€ di coperto il servizio deve essere impeccabile ma soprattutto il cameriere con barba fatta, diversamente vado alla trattoria Rosetta e va bene tutto perché il coperto lo pago 4€. Per il resto tutto bene.

We had dinner at Harry’s Bar to celebrate a birthday, and it was a lovely evening. The manager was very attentive, which made the experience feel extra special. We tried the veal Milanese, the sole, and the prawn curry — all were excellent. There was live music, the ambiance was warm and lively, and overall it was a great night.

I didn’t try food but it smelled delicious. So I believe it must be tasty. I couldn’t decide which cocktail I wanted so they mixed between my 2 favorites, which was nice but turned out way too sweet. Still tasty though. The view is breathtaking!

Grazie per l’accoglienza però non basta. Cucina di bassa gamma. Pasta di bassa gamma. Pensavo fosse in Italia impossibile! Un piato minuscule di avocado con scampi scongelate e una salsa mediocre a più di 20 euros!!!!! Qualità/ prezzo , ci avviciniamo dal livello zero. Bella vista ma, nonostante sia un bar, la signora si è “rifiutata” dì servire 2 caffè dicendo che non praticavano servizio bar. Peccato che ad un tavolo accanto a noi avessero servi to caffè.

Professionalità ed organizzazione zero. Telefonato per prenotare aperitivo e cena e assicurandoci con loro più volte che abbiano scritto giù il nome dato che pareva non ne avessero di voglia . Ad ogni modo arriviamo il giorno successivo da dopo Milano e della nostra prenotazione nemmeno L ombra. Ci viene detto che al massimo potevamo stare fino alle 18 per L aperitivo ma che poi avremmo dovuto lasciare il tavolo perché c’erano altre prenotazioni e sarebbe stato tutto pieno. C’è ne andiamo da un altra parte e ripassando li davanti alle 20:00 circa l’esterno era esattamente come l’avevamo lasciato.. completamente vuoto. Imbarazzanti e assolutamente da evitare. Continuate così che poi al prossimo lockdown ne riparleremo.

Ambiente stretto, sentivo solo bip del pos che suonava uno stress, non paragonabile ad un ristorante che dovrebbe essere accogliente davanti alla Lago di como che non lo e per niente. Il personale era talmente arrogante sulla mia scelta di piatto, e cosi come sulla mia ingenuita di non aver saputo che quello era un fazzoletto e il cameriere ha detto a me bruscamente "toglilo ". Prezzi assurdi per la quantita di quello che viene dato. Sono venuta a mangiare, o a una degustazione di cibo a un Restaurant di stelle michellen?

It is hard to believe but this is the worst I have seen so far of snobnish Italy. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS LOCAL! They literally told me that they are “closed for lunch“ at 14h with a half emtpy restaurant. The blond chick with glasses had NO idea that I am multi million reviews’ views influencer. Waited patiently at the entrance while she was schmoozing with some pompous Italian leaving the place. I would bet you that he was not tipping as an American would! HORROR EXPERIENCE. AVOID. Having just arrived in the region and knowing nothing about where to eat out, we walked to the small town of Cernobbio and as my husband can't walk too far, the restaurant looked very inviting in the evening with candle-lit tables, shiny glassware and well-dressed staff. We enquired after a table for two and were immediately asked if we had a reservation. We hadn't but after a few raised eyebrows were shown to a table we liked. An aperitif each was ordered as well as water. The water arrived and we chose to order an antipasti to share a main course each and a bottle of wine. The aperitif took so long to arrive that our wine arrived shortly after and although I'd only had two sips the waiter actually asked if I wanted it taken away as we now had wine! The antipasti was basic and although the main course was well cooked, to ask 15 euros for a small side salad is laughable. After we'd finished, we were going to have a dessert but we waited and waited and waited but no one came to offer a dessert menu; they were too busy schmoozing with large reserved tables of Italian diners and we were clearly forgotten. Having asked for the bill, which already included service charge, water charge, and table charge, the cost was completely outrageous in that there was not any true service and we'd had far better for so much less in Como, Garda and Verona on this trip. However, we were totally shocked when we were asked if we then wanted to add a gratuity!! We have dined in some superb restaurants across Italy over the years but never, ever have any waiting staff asked for a gratuity. Give this place a wide berth.
