This is one of my favorite restaurants. The breakfast is especially good. Drinks are good but pricey so stick to food if you're on a budget
Guacamole was excellent. Birria tacos were great. The house made salsas were really good. The enchiladas came out luke warm, but were very tasty. Service was lovely. Price for the quality was great.
Every year that we visit Charlotte we come eat here. I love the food and the customer service. Our server was very kind and very attentive. I definitely recommend this place and we will be coming back soon!
I love this restaurant. The chips aren’t too salty and they are fresh. They give you four types of dip for it. The food is delicious and they give you huge serving sizes. I ordered the quesadilla. Delicious!
¡Guau, q rico! Food was so good here! I got a taco de pastor and a chicken huarache. The huarache was perfectly crisp on the bottom, with the rest of the masa nice and fluffy/doughy. The different salsas they offer were THE BEST finishing touch. The green one was maybe a jalapeno or serrano one - spicy and SO flavorful! 🤤 There was another smokey orangey one that was spicy also. Best huarache I've had in quite a while and definitely the best salsas. 10/10 would recommend!
While we dined on a rather busy evening for Cinco De Mayo, the restaurant was short staffed so service was extremely slow. The manager personally came over to apologize and provided some concessions of free beverages and appetizers. The food was delicious. We opted for wings, chips, and guacamole (the best I have had at a restaurant), cactus tacos, chicken, and steak fajitas. Fonda gives large portion servings, so you'll have plenty to take home. While the service was bad due to short staffing, our server was great, and we appreciated the manager acknowledging the issue. I would recommend dining here. *update* service improved since the 1st visit tremendously. Perhaps the hiccup initially was due to a busy day. Otherwise, the food is consistently good.
Absolutely delicious caldo de res. If you are sick GET THIS!! The broth is soothing and delicious, the beef tender, and there are tons of tasty soft veg in the soup. Comes with these delicious homemade tortilla and white rice. Definitely healed me. Great value and great taste, would order again.
The music is loud, but the food is amazing! We’ve been here for breakfast and dinner and each time did not disappoint. Love their fresh tortillas the most! Huevos rancheros and their burrito is one of our favorite things to get here. So good!
First time there only blacks there few stares but great service when I pass through again I will stop by See you in June grandson graduation
If you're craving tacos, this is the place to visit!!! Home-made tortillas were delicious and best I've had in a long timeeee. Beef tongue was seasoned well and tender, beef intestines were crispy and golden--so good!
Authentic Mexican food, with friendly staff and great service. I went during lunchtime on a Saturday and was seated immediately and didn't wait long for the food. The Chicken Quesadilla was very flavorful, but the margarita (while HUGE) wasn't the best. It had a very sweet taste. Definitely worth a visit.
Three waitresses to a table, we never got our drinks, until the end of the meal, we didn't even get a cup of water into the middle of our meal. There's no sauce and none of the containers for the chips. They were all empty except that dark red one
Been to FLT a few times for lunch. I’ve had a few burritos and tacos. The chips come out quickly and the salsas are all hot. That’s great for me but not for those who are spicy-food-averse. The Mole Burrito is a great deal for lunch at 10 bucks. The shredded chicken is flavorful and the mole tastes like you’d expect with some hints of coffee, chocolate and chiles. The tacos are good as well but I think there are better taco options. I’d stick with the burritos. They also have breakfast and the chilaquiles look great. That’s for a future morning visit. Parking is easy in the lot. The menu is kid friendly and the service is really good. Decent place to check out if you’re in Eastland.
The environment was great(outside on the patio area) the food was NOT all that, and the waitress was super nice at first. Chips and salsa were good . However, I didn't eat the soup that was brought out to me due to it not having any flavor. It tasted like warm water with oil, LITERALLY. I let the waitress know that I didn't like the soup. I had only one sip of it and I did not want to continue to eat it. She never took the plate of food from our table even after I told her I didn't like it and I didn't want to continue to eat it. Upon making payment, I requested for her to remove the soup from the tab since I hadn't eaten it. She stated that since I ordered it I had to pay. I asked to talk to a manager, she said no I had to pay regardless because it was not going to come out of her check. Every restaurant should honor its food and customers. Mainly if you want returning customers, good reviews, or a good word of mouth. My family and I will not be returning.
I had a very frustrating experience trying to contact this restaurant. I called with a simple question and the person who answered was not helpful and did not provide any information. Instead of transferring the call or explaining anything, she hung up on me. This happens three times

Dined in on July 27, 2025. While the food was enjoyable, the service was unacceptable. The restaurant was pretty much empty. The wait staff was inattentive and rarely present, and when they did come around, they were rude and dismissive. Their attitude completely ruined what could have been a pleasant dining experience. Based on this, we will not be returning.
So I have ordered here three times. First 2 times I did not have any issues with the food it was great. Today I decided to order their torta Cubana and it looked well made and everything. It had too many ingredients in it that it didn’t taste like anything. After a few bit every time I bit down the meet would be hard and I decided to take it out and this is what I got. This does not look appetizing at all. This is unacceptable and I’m very disappointed I threw it away.
Carne asada tacos or onion tacos? I order carne asada tacos with grilled scallions on the side i get to the restaurant and theres an extra charge on my ticket and the lady is like we didnt have the grilled scallions we put extra regular onions, i was like umm ok? She rings me up and i see an extra charge so i ask her what is it and shes like its the extra onions and im like umm i didnt tell you to put them on in the first place and im not trying to be rude and have you remake the whole thing. The “manager” blonde hair lady comes up ands shes like the onions are on there and im like i didnt ask for extra regular onions 😂 i shouldnt pay for something i never asked. Another thing the staff didn’t realize i can understand Spanish but i cant speak it well so they were saying how the girl on the phone never told them i wanted the grilled scallions but thats ok i wouldnt know the difference and she will just let me know that they “didnt have it anymore”. I am beyond disappointed as this was one of my favorite places i drove all the way from concord for this place. SMH NEVER AGAIN
worst place i ever gotten a burrito from. the tortilla was soggy and i asked for a burrito with asada rice and beans. all i got was rice an maybe a spoon full of meat in it. worst place never coming back here again
This was the first and last time coming to this place. First off when we were sat the table was dirty. Our server wasn’t even known until we asked. Wilfredo was absolutely HORRIBLE!!! We had to ask for everything. Napkins, silverware, a salsa dish. We had margaritas and wasn’t offered any water. When our food arrived the tacos were soggy. We asked for silverware and wasn’t offered any told we don’t usually use silverware for that food… regardless we should’ve still had it on the table. We asked to speak to the manager to let her know of our horrible service. Then when Wilfredo came to pick up the check he mockingly asked if everything was ok. We will never return.
