A place serving authentic Chiapas cuisine. I tried a refreshing and flavorful Taxcalate, a delicious pumpkin seed dish with dried beef and fried plantain—also very tasty. The quality-price ratio was excellent, and I think it's a better option for eating than the tourist restaurants near the pier.

We tried cochito, chilaquiles with egg, and a pitcher of lemon water; everything was delicious and clean! The only downside I found was that the music was too loud, but as far as flavor and service... everything was excellent!

Without a doubt, the best option. The food is delicious and super affordable, the service is excellent, a great place, very pleasant, I highly recommend it. I was looking at other options and comparing the cost of dishes at restaurants along the boardwalk. I ate three dishes at La Guacamaya, while on the boardwalk you can only afford one (cochito, barbacoa, mole, tlalpeño, pollo juchi). They were all very tasty and not at all salty; I would definitely eat there again.

La comida estuvo muy rica los sabores buenos es comida tradicional atendido por familia a si que el sazón es garantía Solo hay dos puntos que hizo que nuestra visita fuera no desagradable pero si menos satisfactoria 1. Hacía mucho calor y el abanico que tenían no echaba nada de aire y al menos yo soy una persona que al comer ocupo estar relajada sin la necesidad de tener que estarme echando aire con la mano 2. No tienen salsas tenían una que literal era tomate molido con sal y bueno nosotros estamos acostumbrados a comer con salsa con algo que enchile no sé si sea por qué hay turismo y por las personas de otros países no hacen o es cuestión local que no tienen salsas caseras picosas

Terrible service, especially from the person in charge. Arrogant and rude. The cook there. He forces you to pay the tip, and you have to pay it. You ask for a dish that already exists, with some modification, and he charges you much more for that modification. Honestly, he's a very arrogant and rude person. Besides, the food isn't good. It's really not worth going, much less recommending it. What a brilliant response. AS LONG AS THE CUSTOMER IS NICE! HAHAHA. And I'm not lying. I've worked for international restaurant chains my whole life, and how can he not know what I'm talking about? But anyway, I was in Chiapa de Corzo, and it's understandable, to some extent. We thought about eating here, looked at the menu and basically they don't have anything particularly fresh (all fish is deep fried) so we decided to go elsewhere but the waiter wouldn't let us go unless we paid 20 pesos because in the meantime we used the bathroom. Any excuse to make a profit in this tourist trap of a place...

If you have the option to go somewhere else, do so. I ordered the Mexican shrimp with rice for $100 and got 5 shrimp and a small portion of rice.

The place is cozy and clean, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. It was salty and the plates were very small. The service from the girl was terrible, with harsh expressions and rude behavior. The service from the guy was very friendly. The best were the tamarind water and the cheese salad. All the other dishes were tasteless, salty, and poorly served (cochito, chicken in tomato sauce, mole). I do not recommend it at all.
