Sassy Salmon was absolutely delicious!!! I can't wait to go back. Took only about 7 min to get prepared, but order ahead if you're in a hurry.

I originally posted a 2 star review due to an issue with my order and miscommunication, but Rock Wrap & Roll reached out to me, apologized, and they offered me compensation in a gift card for the inconvenience. Great feedback and timely response, so I appreciate and respect them taking the time to remedy the situation and please their customers. The food tastes amazing, and the lady who runs the front is very sweet and accommodating. I'll definitely be a routine customer now. Thanks!

I Love the Sushi here!! Recently had the Sassy Salmon Roll and I've had the Dragon Roll so good. They also have great lunch specials! The Pad Thai is my favorite. Great customer service as well.

We had the Virgin Bride and Strawberry Roll and they were both amazing! Very unique and complex flavors. The service was excellent and it was BYOB which was an added plus. I would highly recommend it!

I’m came here for my birthday and the owner went out of her way to make me feel special. The service and the food was amazing. Their Thai food is on point and the rolls were full of flavor.

My daughter and I was in the area and we've been wanting Thai food for some time, I mean good Thai, well in my opinion we found it here. I ordered five appetizers and "wow" I was blown away, everything was excellent and sooo fresh. The hostess/server was warm and kind not to mention bubbly, she really made you welcome, I thanked the chef before we left, next time I get a dinner but I couldn't pass those appetizers after all it was lunch time, I can't wait to return for dinner.

I placed a large order this weekend for a party. The woman who helped me was amazing! She had the sushi arranged on beautiful platters. Everything was packed up and ready to go when I got there and she had gone through the order twice to make sure everything was correct, including the modifications and extra items we added on. We were so impressed and would definitely come back again in a small or large group!

The staff at rock wrap and roll is always kind and helpful to us. We ordered for take out tonight and they got every part of our order correct (even with my dietary restrictions)— every time we’ve been in the restaurant they make sure we are taken care of and have enough food without being pushy. Great restaurant and consistently good food. Highly recommend

The Pad See Ew was out of this world, perfectly cooked with just the right balance of flavors. The service was also wonderful. I'll definitely be back for more of their amazing dishes. Highly recommend!

This is hands down one of the best Thai spots around—not just for the food, but for the people. Our Muay Thai gym is right down the street, and the owner has always been incredibly kind and supportive. They give us discounts, cheer us on, and even put our fights up on the TV when we’re there. On top of that, the food is consistently amazing, fresh, flavorful, and authentic every single time. You really feel like family here. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Rock Wrap and Roll is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. The restaurant is in good condition. Owner Itti is nice. I really like the sushi. Must come back. 10/10.

I really love this place. The owners always make me and everyone else feel super welcome, the sushi and the thai food are amazing (obsessed with the miso soup), there's a lot of menu items to choose from, and the ambiance is super chill and has a cute vibe. ♥️

Visiting is an entire experience in it of itself, Sugar is just as sweet as her name suggests and the food is incredible! So much hospitality and you feel as welcomed as you would with family! ^.^

Everything about Rock Wrap and Roll is incredible. From the service, to the food, and the pricing as well as location! They have easy access street parking. Amazing food that’s absolutely delicious and service that makes you feel at home. I can’t recommend this sushi place enough, and if you’re not a sushi fan, no worries they have some of the best Thai food as well!

Had to update my review, I've been ordering pickup here for almost 2 years, and not once have I gotten a wrong order. Great fish quality, nice specials, and good service! Sugar is the best

This is my go-to spot for Sushi and Thai! We've had so many delicious meals from this restaurant... the sushi is always delicous (esp the dynamite roll!). From the Thai menu I really love the basil chicken and panang curry. They do a lot of carry-out, so if you dine in person you can always get a table. Most importantly, the staff is incredibly friendly! (You don't get that personal attention from the big restaurant groups. : )

I’ve been coming here for the longest time before I go to the movie- The owner is SO SWEET and the whole staff is wonderful- They are always so welcoming and excited to see me! Makes me feel great. SOLID sushi. The special rolls are always amazing- Today had the kiss me I’m Irish roll. Amazing!! You really can’t go wrong!!!

Exceptionally clean, aesthetically pleasing, welcoming, and highly accommodating. They have 2 of my two favorite meals! I will continue coming back here because of their hospitality and good food.

Rock Wrap and Roll is my favorite Lincoln Park sushi spot! I crave their rolls and the owners know me and my order when I call in! I am obsessed with their TNT roll, and once I tried their vegetarian Green Day roll it became a staple of every order. Other favorites are their apps: Crab Rangoon (among the best in the city!), their salads - the Larb Kai and Nam Tok are outstanding and the curries are delicious, specifically the panag curry and the panag noodle entree. You won’t be disappointed by their beautiful presentation of their rolls when you dine in!! Also, they have great lunch specials and often run promotions on thru Instagram stories. Follow along and try Rock Wrap and Roll for your next sushi dinner. so nice to be a regular.

This was hands down my favorite sushi spot in Chicago. I have since moved but I miss this place so much! The service is first class and the food is so so good. My girlfriends and I would always come here for girls night and then a movie. I look forward to visiting on my next trip back!

My girlfriend and I stopped by on a whim before Kibbitznest and we had an incredible time! The staff (owners?) were fantastic and very friendly. The sushi was also delicious, especially considering the reasonable cost. The smashing pumpkin roll was genuinely one of the best rolls I've ever had. We will be back for sure!

Awesome food! Full of fresh ingredients. Well balanced dishes full of flavor. We will definitely be back. The service was wonderful and we love that this is a local, family owned business. It's so easy to support local when the food is this good. Oh and definitely make sure you get sashimi. Oh and good luck picking what you want, everything on the menu looked amazing. Our server helped us and we were grateful.

Rock Wrap & Roll absolutely deserves 5 stars. The crab Rangoon is on a whole different level—super crispy on the outside, perfectly creamy and flavorful on the inside, and you can actually taste the crab, not just cream cheese. It’s the kind of appetizer you think you’ll share, then end up keeping for yourself. Everything came out hot, fresh, and fast, and the staff was really friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely be back, and I’m ordering the crab Rangoon every single time.

Good restaurant in a busy area. Street parking and parking in a local lot is available. The service was good there, especially as there were no others customers dining in the place when we went there. I especially loved that they had a special vegetarian sushi menu and both the items we ordered off that menu were quite good. I didn’t love the Thai noodles as much, but the food was good overall.

small place but cute atmosphere with nice touches. The good things I have to say end there. I came by for late lunch. Menu is QR code. I scan and it has 20% off flashing on my screen. Server refused to offer the discount on the screen saying it is for take out only even though that is on the menu she told me to scan. I stepped out a bit frustrated only to see a sign on the window by 1 get 1 roll free at this time on the window outside. Glad i stepped out because when server refused to offer me the menu discount she also did not even mention the other promo was an option. I came back in to take advantage of the even bigger discount at which point she said "ok". I ordered 2 rolls under the buy 1 get 1 free. The roll was 90% potato with only small slices of fish on the top. This was dissapinting to me personally as i order sushi to eat the fish not a ball of rice with potato. they did put little eyes on a ball of rice and stuck a pepper out of it for design which was cute but rolls barley had any fish mostly temparu potato and rice. The staff i spoke to where all thai and not japanese. I did not try any of the thai food only 2 rolls.

Ordered via GrubHub for delivery. This was abysmal at best. I ordered elsewhere and the leftover rolls I refrigerated and ate the next morning tasted days fresher than everything i got here. I got a sample order and a nigiri that both featured rice that was cold and rock hard and old. Seemed like they were pre packaged a week in advance. The sauce for the satay and for the curry both tasted like they were days old and diluted with extra water to stretch the quantity to fill the order. It was watery and bland. Spent a lot of money on a gamble. I tried one of everything but I threw the rest away, I couldn't stand it.
