Last night was my first time at Union Hall Inn to celebrate my BFF's birthday. Everything from the beet salad, shrimp and grits appetizer, filet and scampi (which our entire party ordered) was outstanding. Deserts were delicious. Lastly but most importantly..our waitress, Shannon was delightful and her service was outstanding! Kudos Union Hall inn!

Each month the restaurant does a different night on Tuesday this month of September is Mexican (so so so yummie) October is Polish We have never had a bad meal here ever and the price well it can't be beat. The staff is top shelf as well.

This place is outstanding, friendly, comforting and a true gem. It's food choices are varied from steak, seafood and salad. My experience was truly touching and I will be sure to check back in very soon. Reservations suggested before you arrive.

Always a great meal and friendly atmosphere. This is a must and it’s in an historic building as an added bonus. It’s the best by far in Johnstown! Their specials are amazing! We live in Johnstown and enjoy this place more than any other.

Great food, lovely decor and ambiance, and charming staff. A crock of their French onion soup is a must, their crab cakes are spectacular, and the desserts are just right (especially the Crème Brûlée).

Union Hall catered my Johnstown wedding. I can't thank Megan enough for all of her work on the wedding. The food was exceptional and everyone got what they wanted. We had the potato encrusted salmon, vegetable lasagna, and a filet mignon (cooked to your requested temperature). The bar service was excellent and reasonably priced. Megan was incredible flexible and easy to work with - great communication and a huge bank of experience that made planning a breeze. Can't recommend enough!

Beautiful inside and the food was amazing! I was here for a rehearsal dinner party before my friend's wedding. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. I would reccomend this to anyone!

I ordered the strawberry salad. It's fantastic. Much more fruit than just strawberries. I enjoyed every bite!! Highly recommend.

The menu is broad, gourmet burgers to lobster and rack of lamb. Your Chef Lauren Saltsman will accommodate dietary restrictions. Your pastry chef Megan Saltzman will do the same and creates amazing delights including Crem Brule, and Cowboy Cookie extravaganzas.

Megan and her team are simply the best! We had chosen them to cater our wedding in Fultonville just this past weekend and the food was the start of the show! Kim’s cooking just can’t be beat and the chicken piccata is the best you’ve ever had! Megan’s delicious cupcakes were gone by the nights end and folks even wanted to take some home! Megan was so helpful and patient every step of the way and her staff was not only helpful but professional. 5 stars for these guys. You definitely want them to cater your next event!

The staff that she brought were wonderful as well! I could not recommend Union Hall for your next party/catering! She helped organize getting linens, plates, silverware and other items through a local rental company. Thank you Union Hall for catering our wedding!

We selected a mid-range buffet option for 140 guests with some passed appetizers and they also handled the full bar. We could not have been happier: the quality of the food was top notch executed perfectly and the staff was great. Working with Megan was easy and delightful throughout. I would highly recommend Union Hall if you’re looking for a caterer anywhere within their travel range.

I had the roasted cod served on a bed of wild rice with sauteed greens and a vegetable. I like cod but I don't think it's the best white fish. However, this one is. I have never had cod taste so fresh and light and succulent as the roasted cod . My companions had salmon which was reviewed as outstanding and another had the thick cut pork chop which to me looked delicious. That diner doesn't have a descriptive palette but said he liked it a lot. Union Hall is really an excellent restaurant. One of the best in my area. From now on it is my first choice for dining out.

Absolutely the best New England clam chowder I have ever had! Our 2 entrees were generous and plated beautifully. Had no room for dessert, but the brewed coffee was bold and fresh. Waitstaff was attentive but not smothering.

Service and food always excellent. The only day they serve lunch is Thursday. Smallish bar area where you can, NEVER get a seat for lunch as it is ALWAYS taken over by an obnoxious group of older men

My family and I like to go for Mexican night when it is offered. I cannot say how good the food is, the service is friendly and prompt and did i say how good the food is.....I love their selections and am happy to dine locally for mexican dishes :)

The metal cafeteria style chairs were disappointing to see, but I suppose it would require quite an investment to refurnish and decorate the place. The food was bland, but decent. Glad we got to visit, though we probably won't return. I see it's for sale.
