We used to go to Panda de Paseo Acoxpa every Thursday, ever since the school year started in September. We always ordered the same thing: my son got a beef and broccoli bowl, and I got a veggie bowl with the chicken and peanut sauce, which I think is really spicy. In general, the chicken and beef taste like fast food; I mean, I don't expect top-quality cuts, but they've never tasted bad or turned out badly. We haven't been for two weeks. Now, a person with glasses is the one serving, taking payments, giving opinions, supervising, and making decisions. It seems like she's the one in charge. It's not the person with glasses and long hair who was there before; this one has darker hair and is perhaps a little older than the rest of the staff, but still young. I think she has a scale in her head because she can tell just by looking at the food when we've ordered too much, and she sent two pieces of meat back from my son's plate. When he served it with the tongs, about four pieces of that meat "fell" to me. If you know it, it's thin and bite-sized, but then he took two pieces from the plate and only left the other two! I asked him why he was taking some away, and he replied that "it only had to be 150 grams"... that's when I say he has a built-in scale because he never weighs anything. I asked him to take away two heads of broccoli instead of the two thin pieces of meat, and he replied that "that dish should hardly have any beef." We've been going there to eat for about 30 Thursdays, and they've always served us well; yes, indeed, more broccoli than meat, but they'd never given me only two pieces.... And besides, he's super nosy; he'd get distracted all the time instead of continuing to talk to us and serve us, because he'd turn around to check on and send the coworker next to him, who was serving someone else, something like, "Don't hold the ladle like that," or something like that. The Thursday after that, we arrived and they were much busier; there was this person there, yelling at their coworkers in a bad mood, and I said no thanks; we just walked right through. Now, when I went to the Panda Express website to order from another branch, I see that the specialty is called "Broccoli Beef" and the description is "Beef marinated with broccoli, ginger, and soy sauce"... the description itself tells you that the main ingredient is beef. It doesn't say "Broccoli marinated with beef, ginger, and soy sauce." Well, hopefully they'll close so we can go back because we like the food. We don't eat at the other Chinese restaurant across the street because they don't have steamed rice.

We ordered to go! Via app. The food is passable, not the best I've ever tried... unfortunately, for example, the broccoli wasn't cooked properly because I'm used to it not being crunchy and it gave me a general salty-sweet taste to the food... try it first before adding soy sauce because it will get saltier and you won't like it (honestly, it's not necessary to add soy sauce or spicy sauce), the packet of spicy sauce is really spicy... with the half-and-half portion of rice and two side dishes, it's more than enough for 2 people who eat normally. It's for a once-a-month craving because I repeat, I don't think too much salt and sweetness is healthy... enjoy and thank you. The avocado is not included, it was extra on our part.

THE CHICKEN WAS RAW AND THEY DIDN'T CARE! I TOOK A PICTURE. Apparently, they have a new dish made with chicken thighs. The first bite felt stringy when I chewed. I thought it was just a sinew or something. The second time, I had to take the bite out of my mouth to realize the chicken was raw. It's so dangerous to eat chicken in that state. First, I told the cashier (who wears glasses) who also serves the food. She just smiled. Then I told Tristan (his name according to the name tag on his uniform), to which he replied, I think foolishly, "What do you mean by raw?" The piece was raw, just like when they cut a piece at the chicken shop. Even the Dynasty Foods next door is a better option.

Pésimo servicio. Pedimos 8 pm y ya están lavando y recogiendo. No tenían ni arroz ni fideos! El joven que está en la barra con muy mala actitud. Riéndose y hablando con sus compañeros como en burla. No pesan las porciones y sirve lo que se le da la gana! Porqué no se esperan al cierre para lavar? Siguen llegando clientes y ellos limpiando y no tienen más que 2 especialidades. No puedes decirles nada porque se enojan. Todo horrible! Los fideos tienen más col que pasta...
