Opiniones de Restaurant Terra Ciudad de Tlatlauquitepec
I really enjoyed the dishes I ordered, plus the food was served quite quickly and prepared as I asked. A special thanks to all the personnel for their attention and birthday song for me! One thing which should be made - a renovation of the restaurant. Because now it looks really old.
The food is excellent. They offer many choices of local specialities, as well as lots of fresh seafood from Veracruz. The atmosphere is charming. The service was impeccable, very friendly, efficient, and courteous. I had breakfast and dinner here. I highly recommend it!
🍒🍒😎100% recommended, excellent customer service. Their cuisine is truly exquisite. I can give my opinion on what I tried. To start, they brought us a small plate of chipotle salsa with mayonnaise and tortilla chips as an appetizer, and although it sounds very simple, it had a delicious flavor. I ordered a beef broth, which, while not very thick, had a very rich flavor. In the center of the table, they brought us white spaghetti with shrimp, which I have no words to describe—truly succulent! 😋🍤 I didn't particularly like the small salad, but it did the job. For my main course, I ordered a cowboy steak, which they serve with a grilled cactus pad, a slice of melted cheese, sliced onions, and half an avocado stuffed with guacamole. 🥩 My companions ordered garlic-spiced tilapia and enchiltepin-spiced tilapia, which both of them said were very, very succulent. 🧄🐟🧄 The facilities offer absolute peace and are very clean. Cozy No wheelchair access ♿ The entire menu features affordable prices that are more than worth it because I haven't tasted this flavor in a long time. Highly recommended, very delicious, good, the place is nice and cheap 🤑🥇🍒🍒
Super place! Very good service, tasty food, good value for money and nice atmosphere in an ancient hacienda. Most recommended.
Cheap and good food added to an excellent service...
The prices are reasonable and the food was decent. I do not recommend ordering a margarita. What I was served was the strangest margarita I ever had.
An excellent place to go for breakfast with family and friends when visiting this town. The coffee is delicious, the conchas are delicious, and the tlacoyos are super tasty. Some dishes are usually very well-seasoned. For example, a friend ordered their Tampiqueña-style fish and absolutely loved it. Another friend ordered some enchilas and told me they were passable, although they looked odd. I had some green chilaquiles, and they were delicious but very dry. I felt they were missing something. The service was excellent for most people, but the downside is that strangers come in and try to sell you something and either don't leave or keep coming back. The musicians are the same. The prices are also very good, neither expensive nor cheap, just "affordable." In general, I can recommend the place.
Terra is perhaps one of the best tourist spots to eat in Tlatlauquitepec. Its location is convenient, just one block from the main square. It has a family-friendly atmosphere, nice photos, and the food is reasonably priced, even with its small details. The day I went, the restaurant was busy, and I thought the service was a little slow, but it was still good. As for the menu, it's small but varied, highlighting the cuts of meat at very good prices, but there are also simpler dishes at an affordable price. I think the food portions aren't bad, but they aren't large enough for my taste. I ordered the arrachera ranchera, and my meat came already cut into small pieces, and the texture felt like it had been reheated, a situation I didn't like. Another point I felt was lacking were the desserts, as they didn't have everything on the menu, and the pastries aren't delicious (even though the waiters tell you they are), especially the strawberry shortcake, which lacked flavor and filling. Finally, the soft drinks are small cans, and the milkshakes are equally small, a situation to consider if you're someone who drinks a lot of liquids while eating. In conclusion, this is a place that you should visit once as a tourist because the place is relatively nice, considering it's a magical town. However, if you're going to be there for several days, I recommend trying other places nearby that offer full meals for a fraction of the price you'll pay here.
It was a great meal, good drinks and meat cuts. The snacks quite good. Will return!
Coo
We were told the breakfast here was great, but honestly, it fell short. We ordered a combo meal that included coffee, bread, fruit, and a main course. The coffee arrived first, and the bread much later. When the coffee was lukewarm, we tried the bread, and frankly, it was very bland and uninspired. It took another while for the fruit to arrive, and finally, our main course arrived. While it wasn't bad, it lacked flavor. I never tasted any cream on my fried tacos, and when we asked for more salsa, it never came. The beans and eggs were served without salt, and to my misfortune, when we asked for bottled water, they told us they only sell mineral water. I never ask for a glass of water because I'm very particular about plain water. The waiters do come around to see if you need anything, which was the only redeeming feature of our visit. I don't think I'll return to this place when I visit Tlatlauquitepec again.
We expected so much better based on the reviews but almost everything disappointed. Starting with Piña Coladas that were 1 inch of cocktail and 6 inches of foam, then moving on to the saddest Molcajete we've ever seen. While previous versions were a combination of meat, cheese and veges served piping hot in the stone bowls, this was served lukewarm on a cold plate. And to finish off the meal we were served a plate of near charcoal strips pretending to be fried banana. The only reason for not giving a lower score is that the steaks dished up to the next table looked quite good.
The experience wasn't the best. After ordering, the food took over 30 minutes to arrive. Other tables were offered a complimentary appetizer, but ours wasn't. I ordered a Spanish tortilla and was served a dish that looked more like a thin omelet with chorizo. When I asked about it, the response was that it was very busy and that the dishes here are different. Unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations.
