Opiniones de Piano Piano Claremont
Had lots of fun. No cover before 8. I was with a party that made reservations and was seated right in front of the stage. Had reasonable drink prices. Ordered a sampler platter of food and it was good. Entertainment was fantastic! I had never been and was a little wary cause I'm not into pop music, and was afraid that was all that was gonna be requested... Nope it was all over the place, it was like having a live spotify on an erratic shuffle with super talented and entertaining pianists ... Definitely recommend goin with a date or with a group of friends.
Piano piano is one of the most fun places to go to! The piano players are amazing, they play oldies, they play goodies, they play new stuff that you hear on the radio! It is never a dull moment there! I always look forward to going there! The chemistry on stage between the piano players and drummer is so fun to watch! The bartenders know how to make the best drinks! Don’t take my word for it, go there and find out for yourself what a great place it is!
First time here went with coworkers and we all had a blast. Didnt get to try the food we did order nachos with guacamole and salsa and they were all soooo good and a sampler platter fries were delicious wings super spicy bit good the appetizers we got were good no complaint there. Drinks as well some needed a bit more alcohol but other than that it did the job and wasnt to pricey. Now, the live entertainment! was awesome music is upon request and you can get your friends Roasted for their birthdays days lol !! Loved it cant go wrong with this place if your looking for food drinks and good laughs this is the place. I enjoyed it and wouldnt mind going again.
This place is a blast. But it's not a family friendly place (actually Its 21+). It's not too expensive but the show is totally worth it. I would definitely come back with some of my long time friends and have a good laugh but it's. Not a place to come with friends or family which are easily offended at crude jokes and lots of swearing. In this place you basically tip the piano players to play a song. If you don't like a song you tip higher than the previous song requester to get your song played.... Catch the game? Basically you're outbidding each other. Admittedly I only go to see everyone throw their money around while I sing along to the tunes I know but some people will toss lots of cash at the musicians to play their favorite songs. Brave of them to do so lol.
LOVE this place. Bartenders are on it like a bonnet, but the main attraction of course are the piano players, and they are outstanding. Raunchy and uproariously funny, with an astounding catalogue of songs. Give a tip and they will play what you want, or if they're playing something you don't like you can out-tip that person and they'll play something else. Another table and ourselves had them going back and forth between their country songs and our hip-hop joints. Gets expensive real quick but damn if it ain't a lot of fun. Stop reading this review and go! Particularly if you spend your Saturday nights at home reading Google reviews.
Parking really stinks but other than that this place is so much fun. Make sure to call ahead and get a reservation, especially if you have a group. Everything on the menu is reasonably priced, especially considering how much entertainment you get too. Right next door to a hotel in case you have a little too much fun!
Trivia night was super entertaining, my team winning added to the great time. Every single employee was top notch. I'd definitely go again.
Love this place, especially their pianists. There are dirty jokes, but that's the fun in it. If you have a friend that has a birthday, or are celebrating a big occassion, this bar has drinks and a performance at pretty reasonable prices.
Wow first time there and it was amazing! They have two guys playing piano and they take requests of whatever song you give to them, I gave them the song "Let it Go" and it was such a fun thing to watch!! The waitress was very pleasant and took evey order gracefully and even suggested some things! Overall a wonderful experience and I can't wait till I get to go again! Would definitely 10/10 recommend (PS. I went on a Tuesday night, so just imagine what it would be like on a Saturday! Even better I'm sure!)
Always a drunken good time. Leave your sensitivities at the door, because the show is for mature audiences. The food is basic bar food, but the drinks got a little kick. Participate and enjoy. Make sure to make reservations!!! Bring a group and have a blast.
Really didnt know what to expect- was invited to celebrate a friends birthday there. Well I was blown away with the amazing talent, hilarious banter between the performers, and the great music. They had the audience captivated. Havent had that much fun in a long time. Thanks
Had an absolute wonderful time here. The entertainment was excellent, the staff was amazing and the drinking food options were fun. I highly recommended and can't wait to go back again.
Don't let the bad reviews scare you. The r food was decent and the booze was the same bar prices I've seen elsewhere. Security weren't dicks either. Maybe just a good night but it's something to consider.
This place is great. The piano players are hilarious and can get a little naughty at times so be ready for that. Take cash if you want to request a song for them to play. They'll play just about anything. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to laugh, sing and have a good time.
I was hesitant in going in as it was my first time at a dueling pianos type bar, but the performers were absolutely fantastic with a mix of comedy and talent. Our server was very pleasant and was constantly checking in on us. Might have to go back before I head back East
I love this place. The entertainment is great, and waiters are polite. Make sure to make a reservation! The only thing is, I had so much fun that I spent too much money!
I love coming to this place so laid back and fun environment to drink and hang out with your friends. Good place to celebrate your birthday, anniversary, bachelorette party. The drinks are reasonable priced I wouldn't recommend the food it's not worth the price.
This place was a full house last Friday. Diferent kind of entertaining. For small parties trying to engage with the crowd and share their birthday celebration on stage. Playing some funny preschool games. No dancing or dance floor. The service and Bouncer attentiveness is appreciated. He quickly found us a table. If you like to sit, watch and sip. This is your place.
I loved this place. It's so much fun and really entertaining. I went with a group for a friend's birthday but definitely a date night spot too. Tired the food sampler it was regular bar food nothing special. The Cesar salad was underwhelming. The drinks are a good pour but the pianists are the only reason you need to go. Oh Make sure you take some cash!
My friends and I decided to have girls night here and we had a blast! The drinks were good and so was the food. The entertainment was amazing! Super cool spot!
Had a lot of fun here. Don't sit in the front unless you are ok with singers using you as a punchline for their jokes. 21+ the birthday songs are funny, if you don't like sexual innuendo don't come here. It is entertaining but some may feel uncomfortable, you need a sense of humor and realize it is all about comedy.
Get ready for a fun night out with live dueling pianos that have a hilarious twist! The talented pianists are not only skilled but also super engaging. They play a wide variety of songs and even make it a point to learn some new requests during their breaks. I had a blast hearing "La Chona" and "Still D.R.E." The best part? You can join in on the fun by bidding on song requests right in the middle of their performance! Plus, there’s a full bar.
First time here Celebrating my friends bday. The personal is great, friendly and very attentive. Food was delicious we got the sampler. Bartenders and host were friendly and fun. Omg the entertainment was amazing 👏 😍. Will definitely be returning.
A fun time. The menu could be better with a little less bar food options, but the salad I had was very good & people don't really come here for food but for drinks and a funny, funny time. Drinks were reasonable & good & they delivered a great performance and lots of laughs. Great place for a birthday. They'll make you laugh and want to dance.
Loved it! I had so much fun and the artists were so talented. The drinks and the buffalo wings were so good too! I will definitely be coming back!! I'm excited to go back! Oh but it can get raunchy so this place is not for the people who get easily offended.
We had a great time! The pianists were funny and very talented! The food and drinks were good too. It's hard to eat on a small table though. Service was really good. I will definitely go back sometime!
My favorite place to be on a Friday night! Jim, Patty, Nathan, and Jacob keep the music flowing all night. John is my favorite waiter, he knows my order and keeps my glass full. Everyone is super nice and I always feel welcome and safe. 10/10, spend you night here!
Very lovely and joyous happening spot! The piano players are very talented and know a wide array of songs! The food is not great, but it's not bad either. However I would say must go to this place for the atmosphere not the food. Great stop to celebrate your birthday. It's not cheap so be prepared to spend some money for the joy of asking for pleasurable songs!
The lady singer is my favorite but they are all good. Amazingly talented and funny. It's a great night every time I visit. With customers putting in requests every night is different. It gets really crowded so you need to reserve a table if you don't want to end up standing in the small bar area. Plenty of security to keep things under control so everyone can just have a fun night.
The 5 stars are for the fun, energy and the performers. We celebrated a friend’s birthday on a Saturday night. It was a fun night. The food and drink were below average. The Hot Wings was too salty to finish. The online reservation was good. This is the place to have fun.
Such an amazing atmosphere! If you come on a Tuesday or Wednesday I can't guarantee you'll have a lot of fun, but the weekends always see the place packed with different kinds of people from all over the IE. You pay for the songs that you want to hear, so the crowd chooses how the night is going to go. The acts can be a little raunchy, so if you're planning on celebrating here make sure to not only make reservations, but be aware of who will be joining you.
Went to PianoPiano for the first time for a friend's birthday. We had a group of about 10. I had no idea what this place was or what to expect beforehand. Making a reservation in advance is a must, especially if you have a group of people. Or if you just want a good spot (in the middle) where you can see the whole stage. Although still a little hard to describe in words, I will say this.. I HAD SO MUCH FUN! It was an awesome experience, and I highly recommend trying it out. The musicians put on a show featuring all genres of music, and everyone in the audience is involved in the show. You can, of course, choose to be more involved or less if you wish. If you're the type that really likes to duel and have friendly competitions, this is the place for you. I'd be prepared to bring some spending cash for the show if you plan on being involved. Although they do accept venmo, CASH IS KING. The food was pretty good as well. I got the French dip and coconut shrimp. Also, I'd recommend ordering your drinks from the bar and not the server. Ask for Johnny- the bartender. He makes amazing drinks. Tell him Ashley recommends his special drink! It hits the spot, especially if you like your drinks a little stronger and less sweet. Parking is easy if you arrive closer to when they open. By the end of the night, the parking lot was full! This place is truly one of a kind, a must do adventure :)
I absolutely love this place. The vibe is so much fun and my service is always so great!
Went on a Thursday night, I liked the pianists (singers) and drummer a lot. One has deeper solid voice the other one has higher pitch but beautiful voice, making them a perfect combo. What special is that they don't just play the song you requested/usually heard, they'd play them in different version/style, giving all the songs new vibes/feels, both are very talented and entertaining!! I enjoyed every minutes in it, will try to go back again even I live in OC! :)
I been here two times and I always have the most fun ever. I recommend 10/10
Definitely a must do! Music and vibe was hands down one to remember! Service was what one could expect with the amount of people there. Wasn't a big fan of the charcuterie platter but that's all we tried. Drinks were decent. All around a great night.
Bring lots of cash. Very clean bathrooms. Food is meh, I would pass on the brussel sprouts. The draft beer is a better option. The mixed cocktails gave me a terrible headache from the cheap booze and loads of sugar. The $60 drink is a novelty buy for great pic ops, but save yourself the headache and don't drink it. Parking is greatly available if you park opposite side of trader Joe's.
I had my 40th high school reunion after party here and it was so much fun. Come here for a different experience in music. The piano players were awesome!
I love this place they even played Vicente Fernandez one time it's dope I can't believe some people gave it a bad review they also sang gin and juice 🤣
This is absolutely my new favorite place! I went to Piano Piano for the first time in August 2025 to celebrate my birthday and I had an unbelievable amount of fun! We had a party of 10 so I made reservations in advance and the online reservation system was very easy and the reservation policy was well explained (note: you'll have to pay cover charges in advance). They also send you a few email reminders in case you need to make any changes, which is nice. Our server was incredible and checked on us constantly. Obviously the best part of a piano bar is the performers and the 3 piano players they had were AMAZING. They kept the crowd going all night and were so much fun, and so talented! They made it a true party. They did songs from every genre (special shout out to Patty who rapped more than once!)and if you were brought up on stage for a special occasion, which I was, they have some dirty fun with you. Everyone in our group had a blast and this place is a true hidden IE gem! I was so impressed. Bonus: the food here is actually really good, so save your appetite and eat here!
Wow 😳 never been to a crazy place like this one. Who pays $50 to stop the song 😱🤷♀️. Well I enjoyed watching all these people throwing their money away. The food was good my server was so attentive BUT I noticed one guy short with a mustache a server asked him to bring a fork for my dessert and his response was to ask my SERVER 😳 WHO DOES THAT🤷♀️ WHAT HAPPENED TO TEAM WORK
Well, I had a blast visiting this place, the musicians are very talented and their show and way to perform, very unique. The change the lyrics to make you smile or laugh and help to to have a good time. I went in a Saturday and fursr time here, so not sure if they have shows every day. The opposite side on this is the attention, some of the persons in the staff lack in how to treat customers or people, but just with the performers, make you forget in rude situations. Will definitely recommend to others and hopefully you dont get across with the no so nice staff.
I have been at this lounge two weeks ago! I thought to see the musical entertainment, since the mask mandates were lifted in Los Angeles County. The entertainment was really great. The hosts knew how to entertain the patrons. At the same time, the cocktails, that were prepared by bartender, were done well. The meal, in addition, was delicious. Of course, without reservations, there is an entrance fee of $5.00, which I did not mind to pay. Nevertheless, the final bill was expensive. Still, I did not regret spending money in this establishment. Since, I wanted to uplift my mood, after seeing the current state of events. Of course, I would come back again. However, I would need more disposable cash, for it!
This was a great spot to come out and have some fun! 5$ cover not bad it's worth the entertainment. I feel like the drinks are a little pricey but it's the whole experience that makes it worth it. The service is fast. We had some sampler platters and they were tasty . Would definitely come back. Hope the crowd is always this lively. There was alot of good fun people here
Had such a great time. I have always wanted to come here and finally had the chance when we celebrated my husbands birthday. The service was great, easy to make a reservation online. The atmosphere was the best thing about it. So fun, so loud, so interactive. If your looking to have a good time, this is the place to go. Singing along to the songs and laughing uncontrollably was the best part of our night. They have a bunch of different drink choices, and some food. We got the fish bowl and it did not disappoint. Coming back again real soon.
This place is very fun. Don't get sloppy however. They are quick to keep the guest from ruining anyone else's night. The staff is very friendly and the artist are comedic. Enjoy a fun night here
1st time here we had a blast. You have to reserve your table/seats and they have dueling pianos and the folks are funny. They take song requests and sing your songs and bring birthday folks up on stage and do funny stuff.
If you're looking for a night of libation and entertainment this is the place to be. Amazingly the performers knows about 90% of the songs requested. The food is average, but come here after dinner for some laughs and a good time.
Nice place to have a good time... It does get packed so come early. The musicians showed true talent and kept the crowd involved. It's really loud but not too loud, you know? Highly recommended for a visit with good company...
First time going to a comedy piano bar and it was a blast. Went with a group of friends for a birthday celebration but looks like a great place to go even just to hang out. Didn’t get there on time to try the tacos but there margaritas are good and they are not stingy with alcohol. The pianists were funny and talented
The place was fun and has a good atmosphere. its clean and busy and the waiters and waitresses do a good job getting to everyone. The only thing that i have to complain about is that they card everyone. People that clearly were in their late 40's and fifties including my self were being carded. I get it that they need to make sure everyone is old enough but its silly when a person is clearly beyond 21. It was such a hassle waiting on people to get in, people arguing or complaining about having to show their ID's.
I don’t usually like piano bar but this one was fun, I might come back! The singing and rapping was pretty good. 👍
The day that I went was during the week so it was kinda dead...BUT...the two guys that were playing the pianos were Great..they got the people that were there involved through the night...it was really fun...if you never been...you should try and check it out
This place offers great entertainment and the musicians are super funny and talented. I will definitely be back. I had a great time with family and friends. The only con I witnessed was the food menu. Low quality and not many healthy options. I hope they can improve their menu because most of the items they offer seem to be microwaved or fried foods.
It was a fun place but definitely one that can only be handled 2-3 hrs at a time. Make sure to make additional plans before or after. There were some songs the pianists did not recognize and could not play. There is a $10 cover charge per person and their menu drinks were not the best.
This place was really fun! Most of the people who work here are really cool. The drinks are pricey and a bit icky if you go for the mixed drinks with funny names. The coconut shrimp is really sweet and the pizza is blah but all in all, its a dueling piano bar which is very lively and entertaining. Reservations are a must but dont believe what it says online, call or make them in person. This place is great for celebrations or just a local night out.
Great for older folks looking to listen to some good tunes played by great musicians. But should probably bring a wad of cash with ya, the drinks ain't cheap, and if you have particular musical tastes or play music for a living, there's a chance your choice of song will be drowned out by other random memey/overplayed songs. Depends on the crowd you're with, but mine was all older folks and they all wanted to hear classics, which is totally fine! Though if I wanted to outbid them to have the musicians play other music, I'd have had to drop like 30-50 bucks to get my song on within the next 20 minutes of requesting. I lasted two hours and left. The show goes on for 5 hours, which is great. Service was great, the chips and salsa were plentiful of chips, and the drinks were delicious, albeit relatively expensive. I'm happy this place exists though. Good vibes, great improv, good musicians, and good service. Just... be prepared to be outbid on your SPECIFIC music tastes if you happen to be around a certain crowd when you go! Cheers.
This was my first time at dueling piano piano, my group and I had such a fun time. If you put in a request for a song you could also add a note if you are there celebrating a special occasion. Such as if you graduated, celebrating a birthday or an anniversary, etc. The singers usually ask to bring those people up and have a little fun with them. NOTE~ if you’re not a fun person and get easily offended. This is NOT the place for you. You definitely need to be a good sport when they mess with you, but at the end of the day it’s all for fun. I suggest you make reservations if you’re coming in with a big group. But if you’re just coming with your partner they have booths along the wall. NOTE- The place is a little small so prepare to sit pretty close to other tables, tables are small, they can fit 2 maybe 3 plates on a table that sits 4 people. Food is delicious , along with tasty drinks. This place is fun but if you haven’t already I suggest “The Shout House” in San Diego.
The pianists were hilarious and highly engaging, setting the tone for a lively and fun-loving crowd, mostly over 30. The atmosphere was upbeat and perfect for a celebration or night out with friends. The food and drinks were enjoyable, and the server was friendly, though service was a bit slow due to the busy crowd—which was understandable. Highly recommend checking this spot out!
We got invited to spend the evening with some friends, we liked the place and it seems like a lot of fun, the food is good, more like bar food, I was hoping their menu was a bit better, I ended up ordering pizza, some coconut shrimp appetizer and chicken strips, the drinks are okay as well, the entertainment it's very interactive with lots of audience participation, the theme is two piano players are dueling by playing songs requested by the audience, to request songs you need to pay, the highest paid request gets played, if you don't like the song been played, you can offer more money and end the song immediately, at that time your request gets played too. Well, me been Mexican and my wife from El Salvador, enjoy latin music as well as English songs, this place is mostly English music, therefore, we somewhat enjoyed. I am not planning on returning here but you would probably love it
I like some things about this spot and I think some things need improvement. What I like: Sunday karaoke is top notch. Great sound, supportive audience, great kj. What needs work: drinks are overpriced, bouncer woman at door is a bit scary & if your not sitting in the section in front of the stage you will feel a bit left out. Still, this is a great place if you like to sing, if you love musical theater(the crowd is heavy with fans), and if you enjoy piano playing masters.
Great place! Except for...dun dun dun....it's owned by the Hilton!!!! FYI this place is managed by the Hilton. I got charged by the hotel even though I only came to Piano piano. Servers suck......seriously, pianist are GREAT except for the servers... HILTON HATERS BEWARE!!!! Edit: they only care about the tip, a bottle broke and said they would clean it. The moment we paid and left a tip, they never bothered to service us even though we stayed until 1....
It was okay. Just beware that if you have a waitress her tip is already included in the bill under "18% service fee". You'll only notice it if you ask for a breakdown of the tab. Otherwise they throw it into the tab and provide a line for gratuity anyway in hopes that you'll double tip. Pretty sure most people do double tip after a night of drinking. The piano entertainment is pure comedy. They mostly play corny music, but they keep it fun and entertaining. I enjoyed myself, but honestly, I don't expect to return. The music is just too corny for my taste.
This place is just okay. Be prepared to pay quadruple mark-ups on cocktails, especially beer. Who ever thought it was a good idea to price a 16oz 805 at $10 is out of their mind. The only decent prices are on Sundays when everything is 50% off. They run karaoke and a karaoke contest on Sunday as well.
Reservations are a must. Can definitely get crowded. The party I was with happen to be a large one and we were seated at a roomier area, which was nice. The piano players can get crude at times so if that's not your thing, then this may not be to your liking. Alcohol mixes were good but pricey, just as the food were.
It's a fun place I won't lie but their prices are crazy! I don't think it's right to charge such high prices for alcohol. Of course they're in it to make money but it's a rip off . They'll only play your song if your tip is high enough. The higher the tip the more likely you'll get what you want.
This is one of our favorite places to come every once in a while. We’ve only been a handful of times but every time we go, it’s a great time. The performers were so talented and interactive with the crowd. They’re the best part of the whole experience. Unfortunately I have noticed that the staff are just fine. They’re not bad but they’re not outstanding. My main issue was with the last visit I had. We met up with a party that was already inside. But before we got inside, the security in front asked for our IDs. Unfortunately, my wife forgot hers. We asked if there was any way to show proof of her ID and they said we had to have it physically. This was a Caucasian male with short hair. I figured, that’s fair, our mistake. So we had to drive back home(45-60 min drive) and come back. Once we got inside, we explained to our party what had happened and they said they were never carded. I was really upset about this. If you’re gonna card me, card everyone coming in. We think he didn’t card them because his supervisor wasn’t overlooking him at the time. Where as with us, his supervisor was there behind him. Aside from that incident and the staff being subpar, the only reason I have it at 3 stars, is the whole experience itself. Still want to come again. Update: Their response was “they card anyone that looks under 40”. We all definitely look under 40. My problem isn’t that they checked me. My problem is that they don’t seem to be consistent with their jobs.
Fun vibe. The music was great. Take cash just in case you want to hear your favorite song. You can make a special request. I ordered the soft tacos. They were delicious. Good beer selection. Our server was outstanding. Reservations seem to be required. Maybe because the place is really small. Quite a few large parties. Security is very serious about their job inside. Stay within the lines that are taped on the floor or else. Not much room at all to move around or mingle. $5 charge at the door. Probably won't go back but it was a great vibe and different experience.
Went this past Saturday night for a few birthdays in our party. Had a great time, good entertainment however, the service could be better. It took quite awhile to receive our orders and the prices of the dueling songs can get ridiculous, $70 a song. For those prices, go to an actual concert. The menu was definitely not anything to boost about, although I think it's a place meant for people to get drunk. You also can't mind hearing every bad word constantly being repeated throughout the entire night, Aside, from all that it was quite the experience. One I had never experienced.
I came for the dueling pianos for first time on Friday night and I do think the $12 a seat and drink prices are reasonable but if you’re going to have a show that you want people to be early for and the show being over 4 hours, then they really need to invest in better seating! You also can’t stand or dance unless you’re invited on the stage. The chairs are wholly uncomfortable and everyone in my party thought so! I also believe that all of the cash grabbing was gratuitous and tacky and I work in the service industry!
Great experience until the end . The staff acted like they were authority pushing everyone out. Rude and not peasant I had to put them in there place .
Definitely not my scene but I went with friends. Super disappointed with the $18 chicken strips and curly fries that came from the hotel next door and we obviously frozen previously. No flavor and semi-cold when I got them, it didn't seem worth it to even send them back.
I was so excited to try this place me and few friends really wanted to sing karaoke. We got there around9 and got the big drinks because we were ready to have a long fun night there...... and ended up having to toss them because we were not informed that they were closing sing to anyone that was not in a competition So the problem I had with this place is no one informed us that they were having a competition and not just open Mic. Maybe I will update this review when I can go and be allowed to sing.
A great performance, lots of fun vibes, singing, and laughter. Although horrible service. Took forever to get drinks and management was not very helpful either. There was only bartender in a full house and he was killing it, working hard and whipping out all drink orders. Although servers were slow and only way to get anything was to go up to the bar and order. Overall, singing and all piano players were great. Fun spot just slow and poor service.
Was really enjoying the music but left around 9:00 after the hearing the F word the B word and P word over and over as if the entertainment couldn't be good enough without throwing that in.....I won't be going back sadly. Oh, I forgot to mention the over priced $15 frozen pizza I had there! However, if you enjoy that kind of thing it's probably a great place.
My review is not because of the entertainment but because of employee attitude. Security rocks, 3 of 4 bartenders are awesome, the servers are great even when service is slow because they are packed...they are amazing. The barbacks and runners are attentive and personable, especially during busy times they check in even though they can not take an order. The 4th bartender...ignored the hell out of me. I literally stood holding my card out for 40 minutes(not an exaggeration as my friends were there to witness it) and trying to get the bartender's attention while he was texting on his phone and ignoring me who was waiting forever to other people. Finally the manager came out and he helped me which was a God send. Do not ignore your customers, especially people who come often and spend a lot of money.
Its a fun show but drinks and service are terrible. Waitress didn't even try to be friendly, forgot half our tables drinks and took another 20 minutes to get them. I don't know how or why you'd water down a rum & coke, but it was achieved. I'm a cocktail guy and if I'm sitting in a budget chair for 4 hours the drinks at least better be passable. I mean come on..how hard is it to get a rum & coke right
Other jokes are nothing but sexual, specially, attacking the woman
