Opiniones de Sushi Thai Clifton Park
This was our first time going here and at first I was hesitant because I am not a sushi person. When I walked in, I was greeted with very welcoming staff. They sat us down quickly and got our food out fast! I ended up getting the pad thai and it was phenomenal. My boyfriend got the sushi for 1 and is still raving about it. The cool thing was that it was served on a wooden boat! All in all, I would highly recommend this place, even if you don't like sushi. There is so much to get and all of it is so good. PS- get the thai iced tea, you won't regret it!
Very nice place. I go here all the time and have recently started submitting orders online for pickup. If you choose to sit down for a meal, its moderately classy and the service is good. Their pad thai dish is excellent and I can also recommend their yellow curry chicken and sushi rolls (or hand rolls). The pricing is fair and the food is good.
Absolutely my favorite sushi in the capital region! Atmosphere is very calming and the staff is wonderful. The selection and prices can't be beat. I buy their boat for two and iced Thai tea. Delicious combination!
Loved the place. The food was delicious & the sweetened, iced Thai tea with cream was so special. The restaurant is clean, the staff professional & attentive. Overall, a wonderful experience. It was highly recommended to me by my friends who have been going for years & years. I will go again & again. Oh, & prices are very reasonable.
Hands down my favorite restaurant in Clifton Park. I love that there are vegan friendly options here (rama garden with tofu is amazing) It's easy to get something healthy and delicious, always relaxing to eat inside, and I have never had a bad meal! Thanks for the amazing service!
My family goes here all the time - it is our go-to spot for Asian food. Very high quality sushi and other dishes. The food is cooked super healthy. We highly recommend it!
Great SUSHI and great flavorful chicken pad THAI. Super fresh, great service. Steamed pork dumplings were great as well. We also ordered a lemon drop dream and a Mai Tai and both drinks were excellent!
We get takeout here once a week. We spent the last year or so trying the entire menu from top to bottom and never found a single thing that wasn't delicious. But that Pad Thai though, it's so hard to beat. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed too. We just have a bunch of kids and takeout is easier at this phase of life.
Everything was great except the sauce they put on the last sushi roll on the list. I think it was called the Devil's something.... anyway if you think you want that one, order the sauce on the side. I didn't care for it. Tasted like a Mexican hot taco sauce. I tried wiping it off... couldn't...it ruined...for me and my taste...the roll would have been better without it.
The staff is always great and their sushi is beautifully presented! Everything is always very fresh and we've never run into a wait time. Once they served me a sushi boat the size of an oil tanker, and I asked them to bring it back on a flat bed truck. They happily complied!
Best Thai restaurant! The chive dumpling is delicious and you can never go wrong with the prik pow fried rice. Thai donuts are amazing! The atmosphere is wonderful and great service! I recommend to anyone and love introducing friends to this great place!
Absolutely excellent food. We had the chicken satay and spring rolls for appetizers. The chicken satay was grilled perfectly, for a thin strip of chicken they managed to keep it super juicy. The spring rolls were fine, nice and crispy. We both got curry for our entrees. She got the green curry and I tried the Choo Chee curry which I've never had before. Both were fantastic, portions were very generous. I will definitely be back.
Very nice sit-down restaurant. We went at 2:30 and we were just at the end of lunch. We both ordered boxes. I got a box with pad-thai, 3 pieces of sushi, a spicy tuna hand roll, and half a California roll. It also came with miso soup or salad. The salad dressing was excellent. I had Thai iced tea. My son had a 3 roll box with 2 tuna rolls and one salmon roll. He had the miso soup. Everything was very fresh. The service was excellent, and wait staff were very friendly.
It's one of my favorite places to go to in Clifton Park. Eaten here many times. It's a tad pricy, but that's the way I feel about nearly all restaurants. Never had a bad meal or experience.
LOVE THIS PLACE!! Some of the best and most fresh thai food i’ve had in the capital region. I’d recommend the Basil Crab. 10/10. Service is always amazing and super friendly. Will recommend this place to anyone!
The food is great. Very consistently good with a good variety. I feel that sushi in this area is basic and similar, but they seem to consistently have good quality. I have had several items on the menu, including cocktails, which are all delicious. Most recently, I had the chicken satay, ginger salmon, and their gimlet cocktail. All very good. I also recommend the Thai pepper beef entree and massaman curry.
I've eaten here twice and it's been very good both times. Lunch menu is $9.95 for curry with chicken and a small chicken soup appetizer. Service is excellent and food is very speedy. The decor is simple and elegant, and there is lots of space for parties. There are high chairs available. There is lots of parking available. Good food at a great price, we'd come back here again!
Love this place!!!! The food is always so good and the service is next level. We love to dine-in for date night once in a while. The service is quick and food is fresh. It can get a little pricey when you order a bunch of different rolls, but you pay for the quality and good service. its totally worth it!
Great food and service. This has to be the best Thai food in the area. The staff were knowledgeable about the menu and very courteous. Will be back!
Always very welcoming and attentive while waiting for your order. Friendly and very helpful when you have questions about the menu
This place was great! My wife and I came here for a nice place to eat after going grocery shopping and it was calm, beautiful, and delicious. Highly recommend.
I was very happy with my meal. Just the right amount of spice. Sushi was excellent. Great service.
The food at Sushi Thai at the Park is consistently delicious! It is beautifully presented and the service is prompt but not intrusive. The restaurant is beautifully decorated as well as having a living wall. The prices are affordable, I spent about $20 for my entree. Parking is plentiful with easy handicapped access. It's my go to Thai restaurant!
Did take out. Everything was ready on time, perfectly done. Crab rangoon a favorite for sure!! Popcorn chicken great.
I come here with my family for a special occasion every year and they never disappoint. I wish I had pictures of the food but anything I have ordered from there has been delicious. I recommend the pineapple fried rice and Thai iced tea 🤤 I think they recently remodeled and the interior looks great. Friendly staff and your water will never be empty! Overall, the food and service are excellent.
We were passing through and decided to eat here after reading some reviews. We were not disappointed! I had the green curry with chicken and my husband had the ginger chicken stir fry. Both were very good - fresh and flavorful ingredients. The service was excellent.
Excellent. Pad Thai was very good, loaded with chicken and three large shrimp. Chicken Satay was delicious but only gave 4 pieces which was disappointing since it was so tasty. Both options are also designated on their menu as gluten free
Yummy every time! We used to live in Clifton Park and ordered fairly often. The food is always the freshest around and the service very friendly. Chicken pad Thai, drunken noodles and any of their sushi is our favorites! A little pricey but worth it.
Ever since I happened in to Sushi Thai @ the park, I have been very satisfied. Not only is it the BEST PadThai I have ever had, but the sushi and sushi rolls are very well made. The crab/avocado salad is simply awesome. Very delicate, yet rich and complex. The Coconut/chicken soup has to tried. A very enjoyable, and eye-opening experience. The hot Thai tea is one of the most fragrant, delicious drinks on the menu. We have been back 4 times in the past couple of weeks, and plan to be regulars here. Try it!
Paradise had huge shrimp, tender chicken and tasted great. Other members in my party had Thai noodle dishes, and tasting them revealed how good they were. California Rolls were great. Service was very pleasant and prompt.
The service here has always been top notch. I really recommend trying one of their imported beers, the asahi was great. I got the sashimi moriwase. The fish was served fresh and at the perfect temperature. Only criticism I have is that I wish their a la carte nagiri selection had more variety. Its nice to be able to order roe, toro, uni etc. BUT. Beyond that this place is a sure thing flr a good sushi experience. VERY RELAXING ATMOSPHERE.
Such a nice spot! The sushi was delicious and the staff was super friendly!
Sushi Thai in Clifton Park is a fantastic spot for sushi lovers! The Monsoon and Geisha rolls are absolutely to die for—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. They really set the bar high for creative and delicious sushi. The menu offers a great variety, and everything is prepared with care and quality. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Whether you’re dining in or taking out, Sushi Thai never disappoints. If you’re in the Clifton Park area, don’t miss this gem! Highly recommend for sushi fans and anyone looking for an exceptional meal.
This is our go to place. The food is always excellent. The service is amazing. Highest reccomend!!!
Absolutely delicious. Waitress was fantastic. Food came out quickly.
Always take out but they are super quick and always nice. Great sushi
This is one of my favorite places great food and great service
I’ve been a regular since they’ve opened. Iyaree and Ann are the best!! They even use to make a special roll just for me—there was so many ingredients, I can’t even remember what’s in it anymore. They’ve even added my favorite dish to the menu permanently: The Hawaiian Chicken, as well the online menu. I recommend adding dynamite to your sushi rolls. Sushi Thai in the park is relaxing, low key, and a great place to eat for lunch or dinner. I’ve had many birthday celebrations here and will continue to have many more here.
Everytime we go the food is fantastic, the staff is helpful and attentive. The Thai iced tea is amazing!
In the area for a sporting event for the weekend and my son wanted sushi. We googled sushi and this is the place we chose, and it may have been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. It was beautifully decorated with a sophisticated atmosphere. We ordered crab ragoons, 3 sushi rolls, and pineapple fried rice. Everything was FANTASTIC. Their Thai iced teas were perfection. I never ran out of water as our friendly server attended to all tables to refill water. The food came surprisingly quick. Everything about this place was perfect and comforting. So much so we went back the next night. If I could give a million stars I would.
We decided to give here a try tonight for a dine in sushi date. We've gotten take out before from here but I've never been inside, it was super cute, clean, and peaceful. The employees were attentive and kind and my two sushi rolls were fresh and delicious! The crab rangoons were also some of the best I've ever had. We will be back
Got the Pad See Eww & some spring rolls. The entree was delicious and hot with the perfect amount of spice. The spring rolls weren’t my favorite, but if the entree is spot on then it’s a win for me. Only gripe is they didn’t include a fork with my take out, which is my fault for not checking.
This place is amazing!!!! So many great options, all prepared to order!
This place is an amazing experience. The food is always fresh and more importantly, freshly prepared. I have never had a bad meal here. And the sushi never has a fishy smell to it. Ever. There are so many different sauces and dishes to try, you need to come back again and again and again to try them all. Always quick and friendly service, as well. What more do you want and a great restaurant experience?
I went in 20 minutes before the lunch service was scheduled to close on a Saturday and crossed my fingers that it wasn't too late for an impromptu take out order. They not only accommodated my request but it was done with the 20 minutes (or less!) and everything was excellent. It was my 1st time ever and I was rushing through the lunch menu for familiar items. I went with the standards: Spring rolls, Steamed pork dumplings, Shrimp Pad Thai and Shrimp Tempora. My mom and I were both very pleased with the food and there was enough to have a second meal on Sunday as well. Thank you Sushi Thai. I'll be stopping by again when I can browse through the menu longer!
I'm not from Clifton Park, so have only eaten at this restaurant once. The duck noodle soup was delicious and exactly what I needed. Staff were friendly and efficient and attentive at just the right level. I look forward to dining here again.
Always have a great experience when coming here. The staff is more than welcoming and friendly. The food “sushi”. Is always the best quality out of any place I’ve been too. Love coming here. The atmosphere is nice, quiet, and very enjoyable. Never feel rushed.
We come here every time we’re in Clifton Park. Normally we’re a little reluctant for places that serve both Sushi and Thai, but this place is amazing and does both so well! Delicious and fresh! Many gluten free options.
We took our 6 year old who loves sushi and sashimi. She said she gives it 100% and we do too. The restaurant is very clean and has a nice ambiance. Our food was fresh and tasted delicious. The service is excellent!! We got the pad Thai and the love boat for two. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.
Always a pleasure going here. The food is awesome (especially the Pad Thai). Be sure to check out their special cause they always have something interesting. I had their seasonal Thai Melon Curry. The staff are really nice and the atmosphere is calm and quiet. They have menu items like sushi, curry, and other Thai dishes. For sure worth trying out if you're in the Clifton Park area!
The food is so good, melting in my mouth (I had veggie sushi.. yes it still melts) my daughter had sashimi she loved it. Tempura so crispy. People who work here.. SO. KIND. ! I had to leave review while I am eating ,, yes I am almost done eating but I’m still eating. First time visiting here and I am coming again!! (Broccoli tempura was so good.. I was too busy eating unfortunately I don’t have pictures ! But OMG everything is so good)
My partner and I just discovered this place recently and we absolutely loved the interior, the hospitality from the staff, and the dishes! Their pad see ew always hit the spot for us, we will always come again!
Dinner for four was excellent yesterday, from sushi to 4 specialty dinners! Our water was never left empty, the staff was very friendly and the timing was perfect! Thank you for a great evening
I loved the food so much and the service was so nice and the restaurant is so beautiful. I am excited to go back and so happy to find such nice place that serves fresh yummy sushi.
The best sushi in town! So impressed by the environment and the service! I will definitely be coming back!
AMAZING SUSHI EXPERIENCE. Fish is fresh, well prepared, and the chefs are knowledgeable and friendly. Chef Andrew is the king of the sushi experience, and cuts all the fish so you know it’s fresh. Love this place I had the White Tuna, Yellowtail, Toro, Eel, Tamago Sashimi, and it came with fresh ginger and real wasabi. Yes, real wasabi.
Sushi Thai at the Park is hands-down our favorite and has been for years. The food is always fresh, delicious, and consistently amazing. We usually go for the sushi, but the pad thai is a very close second and never disappoints. What really keeps us coming back, though, is the staff — they truly feel like family. Everyone is so caring, sweet, and welcoming, and they always make us feel right at home. It’s one of those places where you walk in and immediately feel happy you’re there. We come here for family dinner nights, celebrations, and larger family gatherings. We love this place and will keep coming back forever.
We've been going here a lot recently, great quality sushi for the price, and I love the boats that the sushi for two comes in. Staff is very friendly and seems to always be around to top off your water glass. The atmosphere is very classy and is a wonderful spot for a date or a friendly visit or what have you. We will keep returning here for our sushi fix!
Please note that my pricing is only because I, like anyone else, order a tremendous amount of food at sushi restaurants. Of course for individual meals, the prices are normal. All of the food was great, our waitress was very friendly, and the setting is very fancy as shown below. Like most sushi restaurants, you may also see your rolls be made if interested. Will definitely return!
Went on an early Friday evening, busy but not crowded. Warm, calm, relaxing atmosphere soon as you walk in. Immediate friendly service and seating. Crab Rangoon were sizable and hot. Had a craving for vegetables, so had a sweet and sour saute with veggies and shrimp with Jasmine rice. All I can say is Fresh, Fresh, Fresh! Tried Thai Iced Tea for the first time which was not too sweet and very refreshing. Meal was very satisfying without feeling weighed down. Will definitely come back again to try the Sushi of course!
This restaurant is by far the best gem of Clifton Park. From delicious well-executed dining options, friendly and helpful staff, and clean and accessible; Sushi Thai is our favorite place to eat. Whether celebrating an event or just enjoying food in a comfortable setting, we dont have enough praise for this eatery. 🥰😘😍
Went here as it was the only sushi / Thai place in Clifton Park and with high ratings and was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the service. Didn’t have to wait long for a table and we were serviced super quickly. Everything felt super fresh and made to order. Crab Rangoon were piping hot. Curry was appropriately spiced and the right temperature. Couldn’t have asked for better food and service, and will definitely be coming here again.
Food is wonderful, had the Pad Thai. Delicious and a nice portion. The servers were very sweet and cordial. Although I am not a fan of Sushi, they have a huge variety and others who ordered it said that it was delicious and very fresh.
This place is good. Not a lot of places in Clifton Park are even average, let alone above average. This place is though; they offer all the curries and each is tasty and full flavored. They have a decent sushi maker on sight. Prices are very good and service is fast and friendly. One of the best places in Clifton Park.
Really great food and service. The restaurant is clean, modern, and the environment is quite nice. The only complaint I have is the consistency isn't always there. Some days it's melt in your mouth amazing and other times it's just okay. Improve that and they'd be 5-star all day!
Got the duck and it was good. Just wish it was a little less sauce because the meat was basically drowned in it. Would try it again but just got the sauce on the side.
Normally I rate this place 4-5 stars, but the past two times we ordered the popcorn chicken for our younger child with white rice, we received fried chicken skin. There was no actual meat. We thought it a fluke the first time and gave the dish a second chance as we've had it in person and had no issues. Now we know not to order the popcorn chicken 🤷🏻♀️ Notice the amazing sushi we get tho! Makes it difficult but need to be honest. Updated 5-2024 Increasing the star level after tonight's dinner. The small ones pallet has grown and I need to remind myself that people are not necessarily coming here looking for the chicken tempura. This is a sushi spot and a Thai food spot. They do it well.
Great sushi and sashimi. Loved the way it was presented and everything look top class. I order the sushi sashimi combo order for one and drunken noodles. Drunken noodles was also good. I ordered pick up but the dining in is also a good option. The ambiance looked great. Food was ready in time for pickup. Recommend this place if you are looking for good sushi and sashimi.
I ordered food for delivery, so I can't say anything about what it is like inside the restaurant. Overall, the food was very good. The thai iced tea was very tasty, as was the chicken pad thai. The chicken satay, while ok, was somewhat burnt. It looked and tasted partially burned. I feel as though I could've skipped ordering it. Overall, not exceptional thai food, but decently tasty.
Clean and new. The drunken noodles were mediocre. First time I'd ever ordered it so I have nothing to compare it to. I wasn't impressed. Could have used more veggies. My companions both left satisfied but not raving. The chili basil was liked and looked good and had just the right spice. The tuna tataki, which I try everywhere possible, wasn't great. The fish was fresh and tender but the dressing was overdone with lemon. I probably don't need to go back but only because there are other options for the same cuisine.
First timer for sushi. The place has plenty of parking. Inside was clean. Staff was friendly. Order arrived fast. Beer was cold. Good start. Then the sushi arrived and I could see the cucumber roll wasn't chopped up in thin strips like most places do. That changes the taste for me. But it wasn't bad. Still, if you prefer the thin cut then look elsewhere. The tuna was good. My wife had the mango salmon and said it was good, but she has had better. Presentation was stellar. The best part was the washabi, which was super HOT. We'll give them another try for the Thai food.
Ordered take out here. Food was ready right on time. More expensive than I had expected - food for 4 people was more than $ 70 - one lunch meal each - seemed high. Additionally each take out container was only filled about 3/4 of the way. My group liked their food, but I ordered Beef Lo Mein and I was not happy at all. Beef was not tender and was not seasoned - very bland. Noodles were overcooked. Definitely not worth what we paid.
People who gave a 5 star may want to go to the city to try real Thai food. The price is not good either actually… I guess Clifton park restaurants just got very inflated rating on Google.
i got the wrong order and i have not been as satisfied with this restaurant as i was in the past.
Ordered takeout. No idea how this place is rated 4.5 stars. The drunken noodles and ginger salmon dishes were both very over cooked. The paid Thai was crazy bland. My wife’s chicken and broccoli was also bland. The only decent food was the Thai ice tea drink, tuna sashimi appetizer and sweet and sour chicken (that was pretty good).
The last time we were there we ordered lunch specials: a small serving sushi + a hot dish. It came WITHOUT RICE! When we reminded the server to bring rice he said "the rice is in the sushi". NO! Denying RICE by Asian standards is flat out OFFENSIVE. So we asked for rice, were brought ONE small bowl and were UPCHARGED for it. The total bill for lunch for two? Over $50. We won't be back. They denied us RICE! OFFENSIVE!!!
So I have to eat gluten free. The lady on the phone was nice assured me everything I orderd would be GF. I didn’t get sick however the food was awful. No flavor at all from the pad Thai. Suppose to be with chicken and shrimp there were three shrimps and probably three pieces of chicken. The curry flavor was delicious, but there was nothing in it like maybe three pieces of pork a couple vegetables for $22. It was extremely underwhelming. Very disappointing
First time customer. 140$ of sushi. Take out. Sushi was warm and average at best. Normally order from another sushi place in town. Wanted to try a new option. I would give the sushi a 7. Primarily because it was warm which is kind of gross. Also, there was some gross sauces added that didn’t appeal to us. Biggest complaint was the packaging. Probably threw away 5 lbs of plastic. Way too much plastic. Each roll was in its own plastic to go container. Plus all the sauces. Almost filled one whole trash bag. Gross.
PLEASE STAY AWAY! If you want to have a nice lunch or a nice dinner time with family! We are regular customers since 2014 @ sushi Thai @ the park. we loved the food and few of servers there was too good. So we ignored if the other servers were not too friendly and simply not qualified to be a server. Today we went in to celebrate a happy occasion and boy that’s the worst decision I made. One lady welcomed 4 of us and seated us. Then another RUDEST lady server came and took our order- it was over 120$ but suddenly started yelling at us saying you have to wait here for a while as we have a big # of guests (it was a group of 10+ ladies came to enjoy dinner). We said that’s ok and just asked how long of a wait and she again started yelling impolitely with an attitude like”see we have 16 guests at the other table so you just have to wait. The way she said was the rudest and in impolite way. And she asked are we ok to wait again and again very rudely. I was asking why you did not tell us at the front desk when we came in. Anyway we decided not to stay and that’s my last visit to that place and WILL NOT EVER GO OR RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO TO THIS WORST RESTAURANT IN Clifton park. There are other THAI places that are way too nice and make it a great evening or lunch place. I am just regretting wasting all that money spent in this restaurant since it’s close by our home and our kids favorite food place. And she did all this inappropriate behavior in front of my kids. Just educate yourself to be a better person!
We came in at 8:15, with 2 out of town guests, the older guy with glasses didn't even say hello, he said we close the kitchen at 9.....the waitress brought our water and gave us a face when we told her we needed a few minutes. They brought our food and said ..do you want anything else coz the kitchen is closing. They hurried us through, picking up our dishes as soon as we finished, the food is usually very good, but tonight it wasn't fresh, we felt rushed and could not enjoy our dinner. We were so disappointed and embarassed. If you don't want people in your restaurant at 8:15, then close at 8!!!!! We were usual customers, but after tonight, never again.
Just ordered from there, delivery. Expensive. A chicken dish from their Chef Specialty, I think. I think my garbage disposal liked it. I didn’t. It was horrible. So sweet. Nothing else but sweetness and the gooey sauce. Had bad food from them before. Had decided not to order ever again. But, I did. Never again. Food for my garbage disposal, not for me.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place. Not even to my enemies. We bought several dishes. All of them were terribly bad. The Hot & Sour Soup vegetarian soup had a couple of vegetables (literary) and tasted disgusting. The Hot & Sour chicken soup had basically no chicken and also was one of the most disgusting dishes I have ever tasted. The coconut milk soups were not better than the other two, we had one vegetarian & one shrimp, - disgusting taste & very few veggies/ 2 shrimp.
Wow, that was not good. The salmon roll and spicy tuna roll had no flavor. The drunken noodles were…well the noodles had disintegrated and the shrimp and veggies were way over cooked, so they were past drunk and fully in hangover territory. The seafood adventure had mussels that were kinda gross and an adventure I did not want to take. After reading all the other reviews I think we ordered wrong and maybe it was an off night. Not sure but that was REALLY not good.
Food was good, how ever the fact the prices are higher than most but really, I’m going to spend 80$ between 2 people with appetizers, food and a soda and can’t even get a free refill. That alone is a huge turn off. I can’t even tell you any other place that doesn’t give you free refills on 1 soda. That is ridiculous. Might sound petty, but it is the little things. Kind of sure if it didn’t charge me on getting it to go box.
