Our experience was top notch and we had to share! My brother and I are traveling and have stayed in good spirits through flight cancellations, changes, and delays. We had an overnight lay over in Albany, NY and our next flight was not until 5pm. We wanted a local vibe and found Amped coffee near our hotel and spent several hours, catching up, drinking coffee and waiting.. You’d think the waiting would be more of a challenge, however our service was beyond expectations. Our first meal was very good, our length of stay and the gracious hospitality was the icing on the cake. To beat it all, Jim came over to check on us and offered us the soup of the day, his father’s recipe, a squash soup with bacon and sour cream, a must try! Laney, was the welcoming barista and was so very nice. Sydney was present and made sure we were treated well. Then Jim, made us feel like our welcome was not ruined! Sydney, I believe you have met your goal with making Amped a place to stay, relax and connect ! Great Job!

This coffee shop had great atmosphere, amazing drinks and great food. The décor was cozy and inviting and the drinks were delicious and made with great care. The matcha was so smooth and I love that they used the matcha from the local Saratoga Tea and Honey. I can't wait to come back!

Great prices on food and drink. Awesome selection of syrups and fairy alternatives. Everyone I've talked to on the staff has been so nice. Vibes are immaculate, salt and pepper shaker collection is super cute, awesome curated space. Go check this place out! The spätzle mac and cheese is delicious.

We stopped in after leaving a conference in the area to grab some coffee. What a warm welcome from the owner and her staff! Coffee and atmosphere both deserve a 10/10. Will definitely be back when we’re in the area!

Met up with a friend at Amped Coffee, and we claimed a spot with two comfortable chairs and small end table. We were greeted and able to order right away. The menu is a good one with choices but not so many that one is overwhelmed. My black coffee was excellent and the bagel toasted perfectly. The house chive cream cheese was delicious! We stayed about two hours and never felt like anyone was ready to kick us out. There is also water available to get on your own in small cups. I recommend this coffee shop! For the coffee & food, professional staff, cleanliness, and comfortable setting.

This place is great! So much hospitality! We had a medium roast coffee, chai latte, hot chocolate, and chocolate chip pancakes. All were great, but honestly the environment is what stood out to me. So incredibly friendly and welcoming! They had live music, which was fantastic. They even had a cotton candy machine, which the kiddo loved! Definitely stop in and check it out!

I came here on a friend’s recommendation and was very impressed. I got the egg, swiss, and kielbasa sandwich. As a Polish person and native New Yorker, I know both good kielbasa and good breakfast sandwiches, and this didn’t disappoint! I also got the special “blueberry crumble latte” and it was delicious. I went on a Saturday and there was even a live guitarist performing. Cannot recommend this place enough!

This is by far my favorite coffee shop in the Albany area!! As a young person, I think the Capital Region has been lacking a friendly, community-oriented, and lively atmosphere like this. I went on a Saturday morning when it was absolutely bustling. There was live music, lots of people hanging out and chatting at nearby tables, and (of course) delicious coffees/breakfast to be had. The amazing lattes and eats are alone a reason to swing by if you're in a rush and need a quick boost or bite. But, if you have the time, I highly recommend planning to stay and enjoy the atmosphere for an hour or two. Bring a good book, your work laptop, or just sit and people watch. Either way, I am counting down the days until I can go back. If you want to romanticize your life or average daily routine in any way (which I don't see why anyone wouldn't), Amped is absolutely a MUST!!

I can't wait until they set up online ordering as well. The inside of the store is super cute, cozy w plenty of available seating too.

They don’t have almond milk which is my go to milk substitute - sigh. I had to go with oat milk which is just overpowering and too sweet for me . Wasn’t much of an espresso taste . I don’t think it’s anything special. It doesn’t feel like it could be a third space for me. I like to read and journal and will do that at a coffee shop but I didn’t feel like doing that here. The seats are metal it’s not comfortable chairs. It’s not intimate or cozy. Large and cold. Lacking warmth. It feels sterile .almost reminds me of a hospital vibe. I like the windows I will say. It was cool to try.. but There’s not really anything that would make me want to come back here . I was gonna visit last Sunday, but they are closed Sundays.

Dude idk why this place has 4.8 stars. The coffee’s okay at best, the food was surprisingly bland, and the vibe sucked.
