First time at Ruby’s Diner and we just ordered Frings (combination of Fries and Onion rings ($9.49), a kids Vanilla Malt ($5.99) a coffee shake ($7.99) and a Mint Chip Shake ($7.99). We really enjoyed everything. The onion rings were nice and crisp and the fries were average shoe string fries. This is a classic diner with an old Nash Car right behind the Host/Hostess stand. Our server was Brianna and she was great. They have a decent sized menu with salads, burgers, sandwiches and a few other items to choose. We just needed a mid afternoon snack/treat.

Delicious and so gorgeous inside. These kinds of diners aesthetically wise need a comeback. Chili cheese fries with green onions is not something I knew I needed till now. Everything is just excellent, like you can’t come here without smiling at least ONCE. Fries and coffee in a retro looking diner, hello? Delicious, order their chili, cheeseburgers, whatever, I promise its worth‼️

Went to Ruby’s Diner and had a really good time. I got the Double Deluxe burger—it was only 10 bucks and honestly a great deal for a solid diner burger. Classic comfort food, hit the spot. Service was awesome. The waiter was super friendly and the food came out quick. Only little mix-up was I ordered a vanilla milkshake and got a strawberry instead, but I didn’t really mind. I’d definitely go back. Good food, good vibe, no complaints.

Lovely place with nice burgers and fast serving dinning, loved the lemonade with natural fresh strawberries. I had the cheeseburger with bacon and it was spectacular, the bacon was crispy and salty, as it should, the burger meat on point and the sweet potato fries completed the combo very nice. Also had a lot of paints of the city which made the experience so much vivid.

Haven't been here in a while and I mean like '05/'06. Cool 40's style diner. Good tasting food. The wait ⌚ wasn't too long but expect to wait if you're going for lunch. Delicious burgers and you can't go wrong with upgrading to some chili cheese fries 🍔🍟A vanilla milkshake always hits the spot. Clean and nicely decorated. Awesome friendly service. Awesome vibes. I Come mostly for the burgers and sandwiches, but the breakfast looks good as well. Breakfast only lasts till 11p.m.

If you like diners and the food that comes along with it, you will love this place. Big portions, we had the chillidog and the BLT with avocado. Comes with fries but we "upgraded" with onionrings aswell. Ordered shakes (very good!) and you get the extra can on the side with additional stuff to fill up with more. Pricewise this comes along as value for money to me, especially for being LA. I recommend this place.

Cute diner, we were seated right away and the food came out quickly which worked in our favour. The strawberry milkshake is a must try, it wasn’t too thick so you could actually drink it instantly.

Had a great breakfast at Ruby’s Diner! The highlight of our meal was definitely the beignets—crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and absolutely delicious. They were the perfect treat to start the day! We also ordered the veggie omelette, which was not only tasty but came in a generous portion—definitely enough to satisfy a big appetite. Everything we tried was well-prepared and flavorful. The only downside was the limited menu options for vegetarians and those who don’t eat pork. While what we had was good, a bit more variety would have been appreciated. That said, the food, service, and atmosphere were great, and we’d happily come back!

Quirky 50s style diner atmosphere. Food was yummy with generous sized portions. We shared a cookies and cream milkshake which was delicious! Definitely want to visit again.

Came when we were at the Citadel outlet on a hot summer day, and we were desperate to find a place that had AC to eat and relax. (Yeah shopping is tiring haha) Ruby’s diner is located near the entrance/main parking lot, also right next to Levi's. You can’t miss it! Liked the old diner retro decor, service was pretty friendly. I especially enjoyed how the servers greeted us with smiles on their faces, and also how nice they were to all the customers. The only downside would be the flavor, but glad that all the food we ordered came out fast, and the portions were big and shareable. Overall, it’s convenient! A good place to enjoy AC with comfortable seats to rest from the big shopping!

The iceberg lettuce in the salad tasted terrible. Luckily the salad dressings had not turned. The hot dog was okay, I really wish I would have tried the bacon-cheese burger. The Waiter was great, but it took a while to get any service at first. My decaf coffee was wonderful and delicious. It was very needed, as I was on a road trip.

Stopped by for lunch with the family. I ordered the Fresh Roast Turkey Breast and everyone else ordered the Deluxe BLTA. The sandwiches were nothing extraordinary but they were good. I also substituted my fries for sweet potato fries which were not too warm when they arrived so it was s slight disappointment. As our server rushed by continuously we found it difficult to get her attention since all I wanted to ask for was a side of ranch for the fries. By the time our meal was over she finally was able to help us and brought us three servings of ranch even though only one person still had fries on their plate. The server cleared the two plates for the folks that had finished eating and as we were about to ask for the check she asked if we wanted more fires as they were "bottomless" we didn't notice that on the menu but it would have been nice to know q lot earlier or at least before practically clearing the table. A few minutes after she brought more fries for the person that still had their plate with them, we decided to ask for the check but again had trouble getting her attention. I suppose what made this more frustrating is that the Point-of-Sale machine was literally to the left of me and I couldn't get her attention. Overall my experience was not great but then again this could have been an off day for the restaurant. Since the food was nothing to brag about I'll probably choose somewhere else to eat next time but at least we gave this one a shot. If you appreciate the Diner experience as far as decor goes, the place looks great and is a lot fun for fans of this style. Try it out for yourself and let me know what you think.

Bad experience because Got food poisoning with the “mushroom burger” no bread but wrapped in lettuce. The rest of the food was not great either.
