I would give this place 3.5. Good enough, average everything. Quality/price for Como is good. For the service you will wait a long, but it is good enough. If all other places are full (like happened with us) that is not bad decision. However, there are much better options around that place.

I understand that a lot of reviewers have problems with the coffee. I haven’t tried the coffee. But the cocktails (Long Island iced tea) came with olives, mini pizzas, peanuts and a chorizo-like meat on bread with our two very large Long Island iced teas. The staff were attentive to us and it cost us €12 for all of that. If the cocktails had been on their own I would have been fine, but the accompanying nibbles made the late evening drinks excellent.

Buon caffè nel centro di como, posizione da cinque stelle, servizio però un po da migliorare, leggermente lento e confusionario. I prezzi sono anche in linea con un segmento di locale molto ricercato, però quanto offerto poi è di livello medio, quindi trovo un po di discrepanza. La posizione però proprio su piazza volta con i tavolini affacciati sulla stessa valgono assolutamente una visita, sono sicuro che nel tempo mi faranno aumentare la valutazione migliorando le piccolezze come il servizio dell aperitivo

Colazione al caffè volta , ho bevuto un ottimo cappuccio di soia ben fatto e caffè macchiato molto schiumoso , le briosh erano molto buone !! Servizio un po lento , ottima la location direttamente affacciati sulla piazza Volta e si puo vedere uno scorcio di lago !! Per il prezzo : non economico ma in linea con i locali che ci sono su questa piazza .

Mi sono ritrovata per caso durante le feste natalizie in questo baretto piccolissimo all interno, ma con anche tavoli anche esterni nella piazza. I ragazzi che lavorano sono tranquilli e calmi, pur essendo stata una giornata piena di gente presente per lo spettacolo di luci. Essendo Natale faceva freddo.. E per fortuna noi abbiamo trovato posto all interno davanti alle vetrate e potevamo ammirare lo spettacolo di luci che si presentava nella piazza come da foto allegate

Un buon bar con una discreta selezione di prodotti da forno, ambiente rilassante al mattino quando il sole è dietro l'edificio. Già dal pomeriggio e la sera è parecchio frequentato, anche perché dà su piazza Alessandro Volta. Il caffè decaffeinato è di bassa qualità.

Aperitivo "modesto" senza arte né parte!! Piazza Volta ormai diventata un "bar" all'aperto. La statua di Alessandro Volta guarda sconsolata la folla di persone impegnate a bere aperitivi variopinti !!!

We had some relatively good pizzas here, but not the best of our visit to Como. Tasty but not excellent. Sat outside and had good views of the square and a prettily laid out and lit table. Wait staff were somewhat curt and inattentive, seemed to be quite understaffed so they were all very busy. Would recommend for a cheap bite to eat, but not a big meal

responsabile e personale maleducati. ho preso un irish coffee e non sapendo ci fosse dentro il whisky, non avendolo ancora preparato, ho chiesto se potessero cambiarmelo, mi hanno risposto dicendo che non si poteva e che dovevo chiedere prima cosa fosse, in modi abbastanza arroganti. me l’hanno portato al tavolo e io non l’ho bevuto perché guidando da neopatentata non posso, quindi ho parlato col responsabile e rideva in faccia nel mentre che gli spiegavo la situazione, ho deciso giustamente di non pagarlo. Ripeto sono obbligati a scrivere gli ingredienti sul menu.

Al banco ci hanno servito un caffè in maniera maleducata. Abbiamo infatti preso un caffè e poi abbiamo avuto la necessità di andare in bagno. Evidentemente questo basta per essere trattati con poco rispetto e cordialità.

Menu senza ingredienti segnati, in questo caso, non segnata la presenza di whisky dentro un caffè, cosa essenziale. E negato il cambio di drink dato l’alcolico presente. Personale scortese che non sa come comportarsi, titolare maleducato che ride in faccia ai clienti inutilmente. Non in grado di eseguire il proprio lavoro con rispetto e correttezza.

Le stelle questo bar non le merita, a causa del barista. Arrogante e scostumato,. Entriamo ieri x 2 caffè già con i soldi pronti per pagare (il mio compagno) mentre io chiedo della toilette, lui con modi arroganti Senza alzare lo sguardo mi OBBLIGA di pagare almeno 1 caffè a testa per usufruire del servizio.

Sono stata con le mie amiche per la pausa pranzo, il servizio gentile e veloce, il personale gentile. Il cibo è turistico, anche se non male. Avrei certamente dato più stelle se non fosse per il fatto che al momento del conto, che volevamo giustamente dividere in tre, ci sia stato detto “i conti divisi vengono pagati solo cash”, ovviamente ho fatto notare che la legge non lo permette e quindi abbiamo pagato con la carta. Non tutti però lo sanno, specialmente i turisti. Quindi attenzione a questo dettaglio! A causa di questo comportamento non torneremo più.

Pessimi: la ragazza al banco ti vieta di andare in bagno se prima non consumi, e nonostante le ho detto che avrei consumato subito dopo, ma avevo urgenza di andare in bagno, me l'ha vietato. Meritate che non venga nessuno da voi!

Negato l’uso del bagno anche con un bambino piccolo e con consumazione. Comportamento inumano e privo di qualsiasi buon senso. Le risposte ricevute sono state sgarbate e totalmente fuori luogo.

Have never encountered such a horrible experience at a restaurant/bar. I’ve been to many other destinations where the service staff is known for treating tourists poorly, so I don’t expect kind customer service, but this experience was completely appalling. Tonight, I walked in to the restroom while my friend waited at the bar to order a drink; the bartender bolted past my friend and burst into the (single use) restroom and accused me of not ordering anything. When I explained that we planned to order a drink and my friend was at the bar, she stood directly in front of the toilet and demanded that I sit down, order a drink and pay before I go…all while we’re standing in a disgustingly dirty, single use toilet stall. Just read the other horrible reviews about this place, so I’m not surprised now. Go to the other 100 restaurants/bars in Como and skip this one.

The food was very underwhelming. We got the lasagna, aubergine parmigiana and a pizza. Everything kinda looked like it was cooked from frozen and the taste was extremely bland. It is probably a nice place to go only for drinks though, nice location.

I'd really like to give 0 stars for the service. I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. We were a group of four, but we only received service for two people throughout the night. The pizza took about 30 minutes to arrive and tasted like it came from a supermarket’s frozen section. We ordered a prosciutto e funghi pizza, but it was missing the prosciutto, and the mushrooms tasted canned and bitter. The service was also lacking—our server didn’t bring enough glasses for the table, and it took a long time to get an extra one. Additionally, they charge €1 per person for plates if you don’t want to eat the pizza with your hands. To top it off, when the table was cleared, food was thrown onto my clothes, and the beer wasn’t served cold. The server here was very rude to us and very unprofessional. Overall, I would not recommend this place.

It says kitchen is always open. We came at 6:30pm and wanted a pizza, which the staff refused to make for us, saying that the kitchen is closed. FYI this place closes at 2am. The waitress offered to bring us chips instead (which already should be automatically given to us with aperitivo). And even after she asked us we had to go to the bar and remind them to please bring them to us. The portion of the chips was very poor and olives served with them flavorless and appaling. I definately would not reccomend this place at all.
