Very slow cook time .. uber eats took extra 30 mins.. everyone standing around but the cooks..

I ordered a chicken bowl with chow mein it wasn't tasty at all is it just me. I'm noticing the prices of fast food is constantly going up but the quality is going down 👎👎👎

This place was doing pretty good. After the pandemic, this is the best place for the following: - VERY small food portions - Long waits - Food with NO Flavor - Rude employees. I don’t usually write reviews, bad service, I’ll let it go. Ridiculous small portions, I’ll let it go, but this time, inside my orange chicken, “A LONG HAIR!!!”, yeah, this is unacceptable. I’m disgusted to even explain. My fingers in my mouth to get the hair out. So, one star, but actually it’s a negative 5. Location: Gateway Towne Center
This place is the worst Panda Express I’ve encountered. I paid $12 for a medium side of honey walnut shrimp, to which they gave me a half empty container. When I asked the workers to fill it up, they lied to my face claiming the shrimp medium side came with 14 pieces. I’ve never seen a panda worker counting shrimp when I order them. And to make matters worse I got home and counted only 12 shrimp. The fact that I had to go home and count the shrimp was ridiculous. Extremely poor customer service skills. Also, my trays of food were very sloppy because the server was too busy talking to her friend that was in line behind me instead of doing her job. I was ripped off on my shrimp side. I was not provided the full amount of shrimp that they claimed was supposed to be there, and when I asked them to fill it up, they didn’t care and wanted to turn me away. The real issue is that their lack of foresight to know how much shrimp to have on hand, because I was shorted shrimp, so that they can leave one serving left in the tray in case somebody else asked for it a.k.a. the kitchen had fallen behind, and had not cooked enough shrimp. The shrimp was soggy and not Panda Express quality. I’m also still waiting for corporate to get back to me because I deserve to be compensated for this lack of food that I had paid for and no I will not be coming all the way back to this Compton location I was in the middle of a move and now no longer anywhere near here. Another issue is I ordered chicken teriyaki and because the worker was talking to the lady in line behind me, instead of doing her job, my chicken was dry with no teriyaki sauce on it at all. Furthermore, I ordered wontons and I receive no sweet-and-sour sauce. All this location cared about was taking my money and shooing me along. In addition, there was another issue that I asked for Beijing beef and she scooped string bean chicken into my plate and when I told her that’s not Beijing beef, she was so confused had no idea what I was talking about and then just scraped out string bean chicken from the train instead of serving me a new tray like she should have because she put the wrong item in it. so unprofessional and again it’s because she was so busy talking to the girl behind me that she personally knew. she’s on the clock and should not be having personal conversations while she’s working because all it did was make me have a very poor experience. Rude workers who care more about chit chatting with their friends and making up fake rules about counting shrimp. You guys are not doing your job because I as the customer already expressed that I was unhappy with the quality and quantity of my shrimp having to go home and count it is horrible. Leaving customers. Dissatisfied is a no for me. Especially at the crazy price of $12 for a medium side. And don’t be confused by the image below some of these were so soggy that the shrimp came out of the honey walnut batter, so it looks like it’s more shrimp than what it actually is. I know how to count but the workers don’t.
I waited almost 10minutes to get my food (they were out) just got home and the portions on this plate are a joke. Idk what happened to my string bean chicken - by far the worst location I’ve been to. The only good outcome was the food being fresh since I had to wait for it be done.
I placed an order online with an expected ready time. I arrived at the time and my order was not ready. I understand it may have gotten busy, or they could even be short staff. My order was ready 18 minutes after the stated time. The staff said hello when I arrived and asked my name. I was not acknowledged by staff until I was handed my order 18 minutes late. The taste of the food was terrible. Nothing had flavor. The chow mein tasted the same as the fried rice, which was flavorless. I requested sauces that I did not receive, and my fried rice had large chunks of egg. I don't have an issue with eggs, but I wasn't expecting breakfast size pieces.

Expect to wait about 30 min on line for in store order. Also expect about 1 hour for your online order to go through. Last three times, I waited at the store for 40 min as there was a problem with the system. I waited until it came through and they did not do anything. The last time I went and this happened, manager came out and took care of it. But nowhere there was an apology for the wait. He acted like as if "he got me" acting like he was giving a good attentive service. But I had to wait 15 min for the manager to show up, and from there another 15 min for him to go through the system and find my order and process it manually. No sorries, no apology, no nothing. All the stores have same tasting food, it is customer service where it differentiates the performance of the stores. This store has no service, it is run like a robot with treating any errors or bad service as if it is a common thing. This is the worst Panda that I have went to, including the ones on the highway oasis.
Wow , bad experience… orange chicken bad kum pao bad ,show mein bad and bad services ask for large strawberry water and say is not large drink for strawberry there wow … please make good decisions for your kids and family until them do better quality food thank you
7 workers 2 men laughing to much to even help Girl at counter Jennifer was great had many hats server food money door dash all with a simle. Another girl was talking to her fiend in the dining area just poor service do better.
The orange chicken is mostly batter you can hardly taste the chicken. The orange chicken use to be really good. I just can't people didn't noticed the switch up. Shame on Panda Express. Not only that but much more expensive and the portion is smaller. WTH 😤

I went to get a plate for my mom because she had covid and wanted to drop it off at her doorstep. When my mom received it, she asked if they were leftovers because the portion was too small. I went 3 days later to get food for myself and my family, and I completely understood what my mom said. The portion at this location is ridiculous. These employees are extremely stingy. I will definitely change the location and buy somewhere else. I paid too much for what I received. $12 per plate is too much for a leftover looking plates! Plus the 6 pieces of orange chicken I received didn't even have chicken I think they batter the chicken skin because all I was chewing on was batter and maybe maybe some skin.
