Last night we had a fantastic experience at Sapporo, thanks in large part to our server, Chris. He was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, making excellent recommendations throughout our meal. Chris helped us customize our love boat and even suggested some fantastic custom rolls that we absolutely loved. His recommendations for the Wagyu beef and Japanese IPA were spot on – both were highlights of our dinner. The food and drinks were superb, and Chris's friendly and professional service truly enhanced our evening. We highly recommend asking for Chris when you visit Sapporo!

Went here for lunch on 2/11/25. Place was empty, but the lunch specials were fantastic and service was great. The price for the amount of food on the lunch Teryaki Chicken and Teryaki Steak was impressive. Came with a bowl of soup/salad, 4 pieces of sushi, crab wontons, egg rolls. Price was very fair and the place was really nice and clean inside with a full bar. Will be returning!

I absolutely love this place. Wouldn't go anywhere else for sushi! Fish so fresh you can watch them cut and clean it in front of you. The wait staff is hands down amazing. They will give you recommendations and even do substitutions if you don't like a certain type of ingredient. Oh don't forget the amazing happy hour!

The service was fantastic, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was phenomenal. This place is so well done, that it certainly has an upscale feel to it. The sushi rolls are bigger (longer) than expected, so maybe order them one-at-a-time, unless sharing; certainly a good thing (larger portion than expected). The hibachi combo (pictured) was very delicious and plentiful. The happy hour drink specials ($7.50 martinis) were great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a restaurant with an upscale vibe.

**** UPDATED REVIEW**** My second visit here and I'm even more impressed than I was on my first visit. We started off with little dumpling bites for our appetizer and they were great. For dinner, I got the specialty roll combo A and my daughter got combo B. The rolls are thick and not skimping on anything. To finish, we shared an order of mochi. Everything was perfect and I couldn't have asked for a better birthday dinner. Their menu is huge. If you like great sushi and rolls, this is the spot you've been looking for. **ORIGINAL REVIEW** Stopped in for lunch with my husband on a whim and we were pleasantly surprised. We both got the bento teriyaki chicken boxes and everything was great. Service was on point too. We'll definitely be back.

This is my cousin favorite sushi place and I can see why. To start, spicy edamame is so good. Pink lady is my favorite sushi as well cilantro pesto. I have to drive 30 to 40 minutes to get there but it’s worth it. Lunch prices are great. I forgot the name of the water ( tall skinny guy) he always do a great job.

Let me just say I review every place we go and today was our First time eating here, We had the spicy garlic edamame for an app, we went around noon on a Sunday and got the 2 roll combo which comes with your choice of soup or salad which we got the salads they were good. We had the spider roll, the Philadelphia roll, Cajun roll & one other (I forget the name) but they were all amazing! Oh and forgot got a side of fried rice and a Diet Coke and all that was only $50. So reasonably priced for sure. Will definitely be going back and bringing friends & family

Update: We came back for sushi and ramen. This time it was great and the waitress was wonderful. Only complaint is that the eggs are still over cooked in the ramen. We ordered ramen from here with expedition that it wouldn’t be the best, considering this place doesn’t focus on ramen. However, we were still disappointed. I got the Spicy miso ramen, and my fiancé got the miso ramen. In short, the entire time we are it, we were comparing it to top ramen. I think it is sad when 64¢ ramen is the comparison. The egg (pictured) was over cooked so much it turned green and was difficult to eat. The chicken (tasted like turkey?) had a smell and flavor to it, so I’m worried about the age of it… the noodles were not fresh or made there. It was molded to the bowl and broke apart before twisting around a fork or chopstick. As far as the service, this was a take out order, but the experience wasn’t good. I was ignored for a bit at the host stand as the hostess was flirting with a server. Once I got her attention, she didn’t know what order mine was out of the two. We figured it out, but she implied it wasn’t all in the bag, so I waited as she helped someone else. She then looked at me weird and asked why I was still there. Miscommunication cleared, I left. Thankfully everything was there. Probably a good place for hibatchi or something else, but not for ramen.

Very overwhelming sushi menu… LOVED the spicy edamame. Egg roll delusions! Ramen was good! I will be going back to get the spicy miso ramen.!

A casual Japanese based sushi restaurant tucked away at the edge of Woodlands/Magnolia on 2978. Went during lunch to find the place not busy. Service went smooth and fast. The Sashimi tasted great and seemed fresh. The slices were thick, and put on a big bowl of packed clustered ice. The prices are decently priced and will not hurt the wallet.

Nice atmosphere and a friendly staff. Unfortunately, the food was average. The fish was very fresh and portioned well. However, the sauces and other ingredients were sparse. The sauces were not flavorful and minimal. We'll try one more time to verify, but I don't think this will make the family go to list

We thought it was really nice. Everything tasted good but the next morning both my husband and I were running to the bathroom with minor food poisoning. It was a very unpleasant experience and I’ve been feeling off ever since.

I've never gone to a sushi reastarant who WOULDN'T accommodate someone's diatary needs. I can't currently eat rice and just asked for them to leave the rice off the rolls and maybe add cucumber to help roll it, the waitress said "yeah no problem! They can do that" but then came back and said they weren't going to do it. Our normal spots in Tomball & Katy all either have riceless rolls or have no problem leaving it off (yes, I know its a weird request, but have NEVER been somewhere that refused to accommodate). My guess is that they were all to interested in the superpower game (litterally all the staff where hanging out watching it), so I guess the extra effort would've taken too much time away from their watch party. You know, I've heard this place was really good and was really looking forward to trying it. I did try their miso soup which was good, and my husband enjoyed his food. The water did have a funky taste though. All in all, not coming back.
