Great simple food. The steak and egg breakfast burrito is very good. Recommend the extra hot sauce over the regular one.
Absolutely love this place!!! Their carnitas is AMAZING!!! Love their salsa bar too!

The service I receive is always exceptional & the food is always top notch. The dinning area is always clean. The condoment bar is always fresh. I always feel welcomed whenever I go there to pick up my food.
Great food. Good deals that change periodically. Also have an app that makes ordering ahead of time very easy with a great rewards program.
Was in traffic and needed to grab a bite to eat. Wasn’t too familiar with the area and I don’t typically eat at chains. But I can always go for Mexican food, chain or not. Kids wanted Starbucks & I wanted food. Just happened to see this place, checked out the review and just went for it. Ordered the value meal/fiesta meal for $10.99. It was chips/salsa, drink, bean & cheese burrito, and a crunchy taco w| your choice of meat. I ate the burrito, hubs ate the taco, and BOTH were great! I would definitely eat here again, actually looking forward to trying something different next time. Did not go inside but the customer service was a solid 10.
Amazing Service!” The drive-thru team was friendly, fast, and got my order 100% right. Great attitude and attention to detail—keep it up!
One of my favorite breakfast burritos. Chirizo, egg, cheese and potatoes.
Been coming here for the past 3 years and it's time I finally write a review. My favorite spot for carne asada fries!! Always so consistent and looove the salsa bar. Such a generous spot always giving you rewards like free churros or burrito on your birthday. Only place I'll redeem my rewards cause coming here is always a treat. If you're looking for a no frills, consistent, and quality spot this place is it!!
Moving here 4 years ago and was happy to see an authentic Mexican restaurant. The staff are friendly. The food is great. Very flavorful. I have always had a great experience with this place. Love the rewards program as well.
Always a great time when I go here to get food the manager is always on point with her service and always great with her customers the staff alone make you feel very welcome and very confident in their work The food always tastes fresh and always is hot when I eat never once have I had a bad moment at this restaurant and again the manager Norma is always smiling and very welcoming I do recommend they location in Corona to eat 😁😁
Sombrero's is one of my favorite local mexican food spots. they have anything you would want, from menudo to burrito's. the surf and turf loaded fries is really good. the chipotle sauce they put on just makes it.
Always good quality authentic mexican food. The shredded beef tacos are the best I've had, and the deluxe breakfast burrito is the best around.

Food is delicious. Price is fair. And sometimes she brings me mexican food from Sombreros just because. Yeah just because.

I LOVE this place. Their burritos are pretty big, always taste good, and the prices make it a high level ov value. Their asada is great, their salsa is great. And they got a drive thru.

I love their vegetarian choices. The veg breakfast taco is our go too when we are going for golf! All fay breakfast is a huge plus. Good value for quality of food and money. Compare Chalupa with Breakfast Burrito and you will quickly find that there is no comparison.
San Diego’s best Mexican food. In my opinion the original California burritos.
The establishment offers satisfactory cuisine. My experience has been limited to breakfast service, specifically the breakfast burrito, which I found to be of good quality.

I came here Friday night. One girl was busy working drive-thru and another girl was chatting with the cook in spanish. It took them 15 minutes before they realize I was waiting to order. The restaurant was empty. I ordered the California burrito and got 4 of their sauces. The burrito was dry so the salsa bar helped. I think I came in on a bad night.

10.23.2021 I absolutely dislike giving a 2 star review for a restaurant that fed me and probably supports the owners family. But I committed to all the other customers to give a true, knowledgeable, fact base and fair review no matter what my own taste buds think and my feelings feel. To the restaurant. Nice appearance, clean and and accordingly equipped and decorated. Staff was super friendly, helpful and with good spirits. The above reaso s is why I give the two stars. On we go with the food. We ordered almost $90 worth of food. We wanted to give this Mexican restaurant a true and honest review and that's why we tried many items. 2 chicken tacos, 2 beef tacos, 2 fish tacos, ham breakfast burrito, menudo, Carneasada fries, 2 tamales and 3 large drinks. I ordered all tacos with flower shell. They all came in crispy corn shells. We apologized for the misunderstanding and they replaced them with flower shells. Unfortunately we did not get any beef tacos back so all we had was 4 chicken. And two fish tacos. Bummer... Chicken and fish tacos were on the level of taco bel and other food chains of that level. No good sauce, in my opinion no homemade tortilla, poor quality lettuce and so on. Ham breakfast burrito and fries were pretty good. Nothing too flavorful but we enjoyed the items. Tamales were also not bad at all. Fair amount of meat and flavors were decent. And now to the worst item we ordered. Menudo...I ate menudo many times in my life. Tripe (cow, pig, sheep stomach liner), I ate tripe salads, tripe in Vietnamese Pho soups and so on but never ever I had such bad smelling tripe. Clearly their supplier or the restaurant themself does not a very good cleaning and prepping job. Tripe is a very delicate food and has to prepared properly. If not you get the smell of digested food. In short: poop smell. It was absolutely disgusting. There was people eating it right next to me and seem not to have a problem. Did they get theirs from another batch? I have no idea. Absolutely wrong and disgusting. I must have dropped a bit on my beard while eating the menudo because on the drive home I had that smell in my nose....boy, was I happy when I got home and able to clean my face. That's all I can say. 2 two star review is a solutely generous for this Restaurant. Staff and appearance deserve that. Food, no way....you will get equal or better food at the big chain Mexican junk food places. My followers, friends and family know that I would never write such a bad review but I had no choice. Customers deserve the truth. I probably won't go back to any Sombrero restaurant. I am hoping the owners will hire some better chefs and make better choices, otherwise I am not able to see this place serving food for much longer. This is probably the worst review I have ever given. My apologies to a Yonex that does not agree but the truth is more important than feelings. This was my first time at Sombreros and I dint k ow this place existed. I am also not associated with any competitors. Just the facts....

Food was lacking flavor and cold to the touch. Very disappointing. Our dog won’t even eat the chips (she loves chips) Terrible first impression as far as food goes. Skimpy on the burrito. We only went because the Alberto’s closed at 8pm. Wont be going back any time soon , unfortunately.
I'm disappointed I order 8 rolled chicken tacos supreme with the guacamole & sour cream on the side and they forgot it. Plus, the tacos were practically hollow with what looked like a 3 inch stick of mashed chicken in each one.
I ordered 2 carne asada fries from the drive through and was completely disappointed when I got home to see the quality of food I received, especially for the amount paid for the fries. I did call the restaurante to let them know that the fries only had cheese and meat and the worker said that I needed to pay extra for guacamole and sour creme. When clearly you order what’s on the picture thinking that’s what you will receive. When I called back the worker didn’t ask to give a refund or anything all she did was look at my receipt to let me know I did not get charge for the guacamole and sour creme! This makes no sense!

Ordered carne asada fries via drive thru. Was expecting something amazing for a dish that cost $15+. Zero taste, zero flavor, the cheese hardly melted. Even the salsa was mediocre. Extremely disappointed.
