Amazing and the best pasta we ever had. We tried the four most traditional pasta dishes of Rome: Cacio e Pepe, Pasta alla Gricia, Carbonara, and Amatriciana. All four were amazing and great price too. Authentic at its best here.

This was our first meal in Rome, and it made a great impression! The pasta was amazing and fresh, we got the tiramisu for dessert which was delicious. Our server was great and super helpful. I would love to go back to try their pizza! It looked incredible. I would recommend a reservation but I do not think it is required necessarily.

Delicious and wonderful experience! The menu has many options and everything sounded so good we wanted to order everything! We had the carpaccio and the fried eggplant with cheese and the cacio e pepe and ribe eye. Everything was absolutely delicious! Even their olive oil was high quality. We came here after I watched a Bobby Flay show and he recommended this restaurant. It was amazing and by far one of the best meals we had while traveling in Italy. Our service was really nice and attentive. We got a bottle of wine, which was hard to choose since the book was so huge and full of selections ranging from 30€ to 7000€. We started with the muscles, which were really good. My boyfriend got the lamb chops and they were delicious! I got the Fettucine allá Gricia con tartufo Nero - also delicious. We had a street artist who briefly played the guitar and sang who was great as well. One thing I didn’t love is how she came to each table individually after asking for any donations, otherwise great experience!

This place was the highlight of our time in Rome. The staff was so friendly, and the food was the best we had during our trip here. The wine list is extensive and the waiter was happy to provide insights as needed. There wasn’t a single bad piece of food we ate. A MUST GO if you’re looking for a great restaurant in Rome.

This was recommended by our hosts. The steaks had good flavor. The meatballs were a little pricey for what you got but it did have good flavor. Maybe some bread or something else but it was flavorful. The wine that was recommended was excellent and the service was great. A little pricey but you pay for the service. Attentive and quick.

Lovely Italian restaurant with an extensive wine menu textbook and lots of good food options You'll find your basic pastas and pizzas along with specialty items like tripe, ox tail, cicoria, beef tartare and more. They also do truffle shaved fettuccine and meatballs. It is on the higher price point but the food is on point. The portions may be a bit smaller than the area would serve but it's well worth it. The service was amazing and there are definitely outdoor seatings. They open after 7pm in the evening.

Very elegant and kind staff, this restaurant in the heart of Rome close to piazza Navona is on a bit of a higher level than most in the area. Excellent food and choices of wine. Its also open till late afternoon 3:30/4 as many others close for lunch at 2:30. Everyone is very kind and welcoming.

Esperienza positiva per quanto riguarda il cibo e il servizio. Ambiente piccolo con i tavoli molto vicini tra loro e se la sala è piena e molto difficile dialogare per il vociare delle persone. I prezzi sono superiori alla media (vedi foto scontrino) con un calice di vino a 10 euro e appena un piccolo bicchiere di amaro a 6 euro. Eravamo in 5 ed abbiamo speso 195 euro.

Cacio & pepe leggermente troppo pepata, ma sono gusti personale. Abbacchio veramente molto buono, carciofi fritti nella media. tiramisù con crema veramente buona ma i savoiardi non erano molto ben bagnati. Prezzo nella media, servizio cortese ma un po’ lento. Bagno pulito e adeguato al locale.

Questo locale storico offre una cucina tradizionale buona, ma niente di eccezionale. Si trova in una posizione centrale, ed è sicuramente uno dei migliori della zona.

Dinner at Da Francesco was nothing short of amazing, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. From start to finish, everything delivered on flavor and quality. We began with appetizers of prosciutto and mozzarella, served alongside focaccia and shishito peppers. The prosciutto was silky and savory, the mozzarella fresh and creamy, and the focaccia perfectly balanced with a light crispness. The shishito peppers added just the right touch of smoky heat, making for a fantastic start. For the pasta courses, each dish stood out in its own way. The carbonara was dreamy, rich, silky, and perfectly seasoned, with just the right balance of creamy sauce and salty pancetta. The amatriciana was bold and flavorful, with a sauce that clung beautifully to the pasta. The truffle tortellini was incredible, packed with earthy truffle flavor that made every bite indulgent. The cacio e pepe was simple but unforgettable, with the sharpness of the cheese and the kick of pepper creating a delicious harmony. To finish, the tiramisu absolutely stole the show. It was the best I’ve ever had, so creamy, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. Each spoonful was light yet decadent, a flawless ending to the meal. Da Francesco truly nails authentic Italian dining, and I can’t wait to return.

Da Francesco is a solid choice for a meal in Rome, deserving of a 4.5-star rating if possible. The mozzarella and pizza were good, though we've had better elsewhere in the city. The truffle pasta dish, however, was outstanding and truly memorable. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the positive experience. If you're in the area, Da Francesco is a good option.

Non ci andavo da molti anni e l'ho trovato rinnovato e molto cambiato. Le pareti a mattoncini sono piacevoli ma le boiserie nere e dorate ed i tavolini altrettanto neri fanno molto night club anni 80. Da simpatica pizzeria si è trasformato in locale un po' fighetto con prezzi alti. La pizza Margherita è ancora buona come una volta, sottile, croccante e non bagnata e altrettanto buona è la fiori di zucca.

Il crudo di baccalà era delicato e dal sapore quasi impercettibile, il guacamole cremoso, i crackers leggerissimi e molto friabili. La quantità veramente minima se rapportata al costo. Un velo di prodotto in più avrebbe reso la pietanza perfetta. Accurato il ragazzo, probabilmente bangladese, che ha composto il piatto su indicazione dello chef, presso lo stand di Roma Baccalà.

Ero una cliente affezionata di questo ristorante e l’ho sempre consigliato a tante persone, ma dopo questa ultima esperienza, purtroppo, non lo farò più. I prezzi sono aumentati, le porzioni sono diminuite e l’accoglienza è stata pessima. Il signore alla cassa era scortese, non salutava, non sorrideva e sembrava infastidito nel servire i clienti. Una vera delusione per un posto che un tempo era tra i miei preferiti. Peccato!

Abbiamo pagato per un piatto di fritti misti 4pz miniaturizzati da finger food €20cad(assurdo) unica soddisfazione la Pizza che fortunatamente è rimasta in mano al pizzettaro egiziano da cinque stelle. The food and wine was good. We had the fried oxtail in panko, carbonara and grilled prawns and langoustine (this was on their specials), all very delicious. However,, when it came to paying the bill, the waiter said that the service charge is not included so we said we’d add it to the final amount to be paid by card. He said he can only be paid in cash and that his boss/bosses won’t allow service charge to be included in the final amount of the bill to be paid by card; we didn’t have cash so couldn’t pay it. My husband noted that our waiter didn’t ask for this “tip/service charge” from another table that he was serving, so presumably he was asking us because we were non-Italian/ tourists. I wondered if anyone has experience anything similar? Whilst we didn’t pay this “tip/service charge” in the end, it was an unfortunate end to a lovely meal, as he treated us differently as tourists, which came across as dishonest and insincere. If you do go to this restaurant, just be aware of being asked to pay a tip/service charge in cash, check your itemized bill to see if any service charge is already added. Perhaps double-check with the cashier (a lot of people pay at the cashier and not at the table).

È un ristorante da turisti con cibo mangiabile . Segnalo la carbonara , unica portata decente. Attenzione !!!!!!! Un bicchiere di vino rosso lo Mettono euro 25 ( rosso di Montalcinio bottiglia da 13/14 euro Max al supermercato.) È veramente una cosa da segnalare .. non solo ai clienti ma anche a chi effettua i controlli : Vigili urbani. È un Prezzo assolutamente fuori mercato una vera e propria violenza. Poveri turisti.

Uno schifo 😷 Siamo arrivati con una prenotazione e, nonostante questo, abbiamo dovuto aspettare un'ora prima che ci assegnassero il tavolo. Una volta seduti, la situazione non è migliorata, camerieri disorganizzati, abbiamo chiesto più volte da bere e gli antipasti ma non ci sono mai stati portati. I primi sono stati pessimi di Romano praticamente nulla cosa assurda, non ci hanno nemmeno portato i piatti per mangiare gli antipasti. In più, non abbiamo fatto in tempo a finire che ci hanno già sparecchiato il tavolo, dando una sensazione di grande pressappochismo. Posto da evitare Un'esperienza davvero negativa. Mai più.

Non posso valutare nulla. Prenotazione per 19 gennaio 2026 ore 20 30 ma al nostro arrivo il locale chiuso per restauro. Premetto che ho prenotato da una settimana prima del nostro arrivo dal Piemonte...ritengo molto maleducato e non professionale non avvisare, con la tecnologia che si utilizza adesso è veramente inqualificabile.

Mah!!! Ristorante trappola x turisti che di romano non ha nulla!!! Ci hanno fatto sedere in un dehors, con una “porta” da dove entravano e uscivano di continuo con tanto di freddo!!! Carbonara e amatriciana praticamente crude, 4 costolette di agnello scottadito (crude)… 28€!! Un fritto misto della casa … 20€… 5 palline fritte di cui 2 olive ascolane … mah un furto!! Il mio errore è stato scambiare il prezzo di un calice di vino bianco, per una bottiglia.. 20€ a calice!! Prezzi da ristorante stellato ma senza stelle!! Mai più 😩
