Opiniones de Darbar Kitchen Cotati
The best indian food in sonoma county, this is a new restaurant owned by the same folks as bollywood indian restaurant in healdsburg, which has been my go to for a while. Great menu and very large beautiful restaurant with friendly service. Try the tiki masala, or just anything on the menu is wonderful and authentic.
Maybe the best Indian buffet I’ve ever had!!! You can’t beat the price either, unbelievable! The manger leads his staff with friendliness and attention. The building is also beautiful and spacious.
Best Indian food in Santa Rosa. Butter Chicken (orange dish below the rice in photo) rich and creamy. naan delicious. Tamarind and cilantro chutney are very refreshing. Nice and spacious atmosphere.
Wow! This place is absolutely delicious! The service is excellent too! My friend and I were lucky enough to stubble upon it on it's second day open. If I could give it 10 starts, I would! There's no sign outside yet, so you've got to peek in the window. I'm sure ones on is way though. Lucky Santa Rosa!
We had the veggie tikka masala, chili chicken momo and veggie samosas and it was excellent. It’s quite clean welcoming and delightful.
This is a brand new Nepalese/ Indian restaurant that you absolutely must try! The owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious and flavorful. We all loved every dish they offered!
We went to their lunch buffet, which was so delicious. They had so many choices, but i went for my chicken tikka masala, which didn't disappoint! They had garlic Naan and crispy tortilla chips that were really good.
We were in downtown Santa Rosa and decided to try them out for lunch. It's a buffet, but everything was fresh, clean and flavorful. Very kind staff and it was only $20, which, considering the quality, is a very good deal. We will return!
It was their first time having the buffet for lunch and everything was great! Staff were very attentive and nice, the food was really good, and they had a lot of variety. We will definitely be back soon!

The buffet was super busy, but the service was still great. The staff, especially the boy who helped us, was very kind and attentive. He made sure we had everything we needed. The food was coming out quickly, always being refilled as soon as trays were finished, so there was plenty of choice. Overall, a really good experience despite the crowd!
Darbar Kitchen – Review: Darbar Kitchen is known for its authentic Pakistani and North Indian cuisine. The food is flavorful, with well-spiced curries, tender kebabs, and fresh naan. Popular dishes include biryani, chicken karahi, and seekh kebabs. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are reasonable. The ambiance is casual and comfortable, making it ideal for family dinners or casual outings. Service is friendly and efficient. Overall, Darbar Kitchen offers a satisfying and hearty dining experience for lovers of traditional South Asian flavors.
We were a big group of 11 who went there on Thanksgiving. Its hard to find restaurants to dine on Thanksgiving day but this restaurant was open, The staff is very warm and the food was good too, the ambience is great. We were lucky to find them and this was my first visit to Santa Rosa so am glad if I am here next I will dine again.
We just tried DK for the first time and second the opinion of other reviewers: The food here is delicious. I had the vegan veggie curry (perfect), a samosa (fantastic filling and delicious tamarind and mint-cilantro chutneys) and my husband had the Chicken Korma. We will return!
The food was delicious! I went on a Tuesday and they were really busy yet they were still very attentive and made sure we were taken care of. They even stopped by after the appetizers to let us know that our order for the main course was being taken care and would be out soon. My son went up to tell the server that he loved his meal after we paid and the server said he missed the best part which was desert and gave him gulab jamun to go. The best service with the tastiest meal. Thank you. We will be back soon
Some of the most authentic and flavorful Indian food in the area. I've been living in Sonoma County for a few years and have enjoyed trying some great Indian restaurants in the area, but this relatively newcomer by far takes the cake. All the dishes had very rich flavors, and excellent preparation. There are options to make any dishes spicier or milder, without sacrificing the flavors. I brought visiting family to this restaurant and they left extremely satisfied. From their appetizers to their main courses, every dish was simply amazing, and I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. The kulfis were frozen solid though, maybe thaw them a bit 😬
This restaurant in Santa Rosa is a hidden gem. We were there for the lunch buffet. The food was flavorful, comforting, and clearly made with care. Every dish felt authentic and thoughtfully prepared. The variety in the buffet was excellent, with something for everyone, whether you enjoy mild, aromatic flavors or richer, spicier dishes. What truly made the experience special, though, was the owner. He is an incredibly kind and genuine person, and our conversation with him made us feel instantly welcome. We’ll absolutely be coming back and recommending this spot to friends and family. Highly, highly recommend!

FANTASTIC FOOD! The best Indian food I've had in Sonoma County in a very long time. Their $19.99 all-you-can-eat lunch special is a STEAL! They have a large selection of dishes, salad, chutneys, and dessert. I'm so happy I have a new go-to for Indian food. The service is excellent, all the servers are so nice and attentive. I wish I could eat here every day!
Mild spice really means no spice at all. Otherwise food was exceptionally great. I ordered samosas, garlic naan bread, lamb tika masala, chicken korma, mango kulfi and green tea. Everything was delicious and staff was very friendly and checked on me numerous times during my dining experience.
I’ve been here a few times now and the food is delicious. Absolutely loved the Gobi Manchurian, Mango Lassi, and Cheese Naan especially. Mango Lassi is a must! The Dal Soup wasn’t traditional but was still good. Enjoyed the veggie Korma and Paneer Masala. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the desserts. The lunch buffet was well priced and had good food, but veggie options were lacking. Wouldn’t recommend the lunch buffet for vegans or vegetarians. However, when ordering from the menu, plenty of vegan and veggie options that I highly recommend. My family loves this place, has a lot of space for big events, great food. Excellent service!!! 5/5. Would come back again!
Ok place with ok taste of food, not as expected and most of the menu dishes were not available, so we have to change the choice of our food from the menu. If you are going, then make sure you have 2 or 3 options in your mind because you may need to change your order specially for kids.

The food was good and the man who greeted us was lovely. However, the woman who served us for the evening really made our experience negative. There were two of us dinning this evening. After a very relaxing day celebrating my friend's birthday we wanted to wrap up with an early dinner and be home earlyish. She had a couple questions about the dishes (what vegetables are in the veg tiki masala) and the women kept dismissing her and not letting her ask about the menu, but just writing it down to order (she was not really listening or making any kind of eye contact). This was the first time we spoke to her, so it want as if we had said something wrong or offended her in some way, this was how she approached us. When I was ordering, she turned her back on me because some friends came in and started talking to them. As we were wrapping up was asked for boxes, I ask my friend if she wanted a box for mine as I am from out of town, before she could answer, the server just walked away and only brought us containers for one. At that point we just gave up, paid, and left. Nothing awful happened, just someone who made us feel dumb and dismissed at every interaction. I won't be revisiting when I come back to the area.
