Opiniones de Everest Cotati
We tried Everest Restaurant, a nepalese restaurant today. They offer lunch combos. I ordered a delicious lamb curry, and lentil soup with vegetables. They offer a chicken noodle soup. Both of us ordered the lunch special combo with choice of meat plus rice, naan bread, and yellow lential soup. My guy ordered the Lamb Korma with vegetables (no rice or bread). He gave me a taste. WOW! I ordered a Lamb Curry, with Everest’s perfectly tasty, lentil soup, a yellow curry. Plus, it came with steamed white rice and fresh made naan. They offered brown rice, too. We have traveled all over the world, and this local place cooks the best quality meat and vegetable curries, we have ever eaten! So satisfied, I won’t be hungry for the rest of the day.
We were a little unsure at first because the restaurant was empty but we were pleasantly surprised by not only the food but the service and the atmosphere of the place. Music wasn’t too loud or distracting, it actually was a great ambiance, and the servers were really nice and attentive. Usually i dont like waters i get at restaurants as sometimes they end up tasting like dishwasher water, but the water here was fresh and tasty. The bathroom was really nice and clean, something that really makes or breaks a restaurant in my opinion. The food was amazing as well, especially the cheese naan combined with the tikki masala we ordered. The mango lassi’s were so good we ordered another round haha. Overall, 10/10 experience and i would highly recommend to everyone who sees this.
What an amazing spot to have food. I ordered some momos to go and I was offered dal while waiting on my order. It was great considering it was raining and a very cold evening. I did appreciate the gesture and the momos were well cook and season. My tummy was happy and my heart too!
Chicken tika was good, along with the basil naan. The sauces like mint and tamarind is what makes it yummy! Service was good.
The lunch buffet is a killer deal! The food was all delicious! Nice location, nice atmosphere. The service was perfect!
Newest Indian addition to Rohnert Park/ Cotati area next to Oliver's. Absolutely delicious! Large portions and fair prices (much needed these days!). Tried several dishes and every single one was full flavored and not overly salty. Meats were tender and plentiful. Highly recommend visiting. They have a 15% Grand Opening discount!
Quiet and cozy atmosphere great for family and after work gatherings. Dishes can easily be shared with others and have leftovers. Servers pay attention to the customers by checking in often. Their Mango lassi is delicious, did I mention?
Yes! A thousand times YES. I started with veggie momo's, I asked if somebody's grandmom was in the back rolling them and filling them with love? Turns out I was wrong. But they may have been filled with love? So amazingly fresh. So fresh!! Shahi paneer was the main entree. The sauce was rich and creamy and thick and you can taste that it was finished with fenugreek. The plain naan was delicious and fluffy in all the right places. I got an appetizer and an entree, the whole thing was 30 bucks. And it will likely take me two more sittings to finish that shahi paneer. I can't wait to come back to try something else. My only regret is that I did not bring friends so we could all try each other 's plates.

Amazing foods served by amazing people in a great atmosphere . One of the best in the sonoma county. Highly recommend
Incredible attentive service, delicious food. Recommend the Thali for dine in, you get a platter with lentil soup (so so good), your choice of curry, and a bunch of little dishes. The everest lamb chef's special was so good, I've never had a dish with apricot sauce. Recommend for sure. Prices also very reasonable. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu!
We really enjoyed the lunch buffet at Everest Restaurant. We tried the lamb curry, chicken tikka masala, channa, naan. They were all delicious. The young man was very friendly. Highly recommend Everest
I actually can’t comment on service and atmosphere because I got takeout with DoorDash, but the food from this place is just fantastic. The portions are larger than many and the flavors are super rich and authentic. Hot means Hot, but not melt your face off hot which is perfect for me. Medium is still pretty hot. Maybe a touch salty on the biriyani but otherwise it’s just a home run.
This place is amazing! Amazing butter chicken and tikka masala. I love their garlic basil naan too. Wonderful addition to Cotati!
Come try there this type of thing. You get to try other food == update 2026 "I like to come here for the lunch buffet. The food is fresh. There's like 12 different entrees with six different sauce s, The service is great. Everest has a second restaurant in Petaluma that doesn't have buffet. Only the cotati one has buffet. Again they only have two restaurants cuz there's a lot of restaurants with a similar name. Come check out this place it's very new open in 2024 I think. The other restaurant has been in Petaluma for almost 15 years"
This place is simply the best. It's hard to put into words. The service is always on point. Everyone there is so kind. I have not had a single dish that I could call mediocre. Everything is delicious, every time. Can't beat quality and consistency <3
The best restaurant in the valley! The staff is always super friendly and professional. The food is incredible plus they are huge servings. I recommend the lamb Korma or Butter Chicken and the Barahsinghe beer. Epic place! 👌😎
Outstanding food at a very reasonable price. I always have enough to take some home for another meal. The gentleman who serves us is a phenomenal server. ( May be the owner? ) Very attentive, very kind and helpful with choosing vegan options. If I lived closer I would go often as it is affordable. When my son comes out to the coast to visit me I always ask him to pick me up some food there. I appreciate the chanting music playing. Peaceful.
I was a big fan of the Petaluma location and was delighted when they opened their Cotati location, which is closer to where I live. Their food is consistently excellent and so is the Service. They even serve goat curry a big favor of mine, the eggplant curry, chicken 65, vindaloos, Papadom are all great. I live a four minute drive from the restaurant and one night they had forgotten to pack one of our orders into our takeout order, they actually drove it over to my house to deliver it! This is a local restaurant that really cares about its customer satisfaction. We are ordering from them again tonight!
This was my first time trying Indian food. My waiter was polite and helpful. Highly recommend if you are in the area! I ordered the butter chicken with garlic naan and the chai.
This restaurant is a hidden gem. Delicious food for a good price, friendly staff and there is always room for my mom's walker. The naan (included with lunch) is fresh and very tasty too. I order the lamb vindaloo most often, but the other meals I've had are equally tasty. My 88 year old mother loves it too because the flavor spices are there and she can order it without heat spice. I haven't tried the buffet but I've seen people fill their plates numerous times, so it must be excellent too.
This offshoot of a restaurant by the same name in Petaluma is my foodie find of the year. Its been opened almost a year, so if you havent visited it, do so. I stopped in today b/t 11:15-11:30 because they had a sign for an all you can eat buffet. I generally dont have high expectations for such offers, but this buffet blew my socks off. The buffet does not have too many items. Just enough to cover meat and meatless as well as provide samplings of different Tibetan, Nepalese flavors. Everything was fresh, too, not stale. The food was excellent as was the service. The place is not overly adorned but it is clean, light, and welcoming. My husband and I ate 4 large plates, 2 each, for $33. No drink order. Highly recommend.

Delicious food and wonderful attentive service from our waiter and from the owner himself. We will be back, especially excited to try their lunch buffet!

My husband and I have tried many Nepali/Indian restaurants around Sonoma County, and this one is by far one of our favorites! The food is absolutely delicious and the flavors are the closest we’ve found to authentic Nepali cuisine. My husband is from Nepal, and he always tells me this place tastes just like home. Their Masala Tea is also one of our top favorites—so warm and comforting. The staff is incredibly kind and hospitable, making every visit a pleasant experience. We highly recommend trying the Momos, Chowmein, and Butter Chicken—they’re all amazing, especially when paired with their fresh Garlic Naan. Definitely a must-try spot if you’re in the area!
Ate here 2x now..Once for Dinner last year was good also, and this time to try their lunch buffet on a Sunday around 12:30pm was really quiet I am surprised not too many people know about this quaint place, food is delicious and the right amount of spices, they serve some different dishes on their lunch buffet on weekdays and weekends. For the price 14.99 is a great deal, you cannot even got to Burger King hardly any more which I did last week was 16.99 for a large soda, hamburger and some fries was bad unless you are hungry ..you are better off eating nice good food at this restaurant.. The waiter was really nice and accommodating, I know that I will go back on a weekday to try the menu lunch buffet. I will let my friends know...This is worth it...I think with a group of friend etc this place for lunch buffet would be a great get together with the variations and price. Everything is so expensive going out to eat nowadays...I cook usually at home for the most part...but every so often I try to go out to try different place...
