I love Tzen. I ordered from them on a weekly basis. They have a great lunch menu. The fish is always fresh and delicious. I always get the sushi and sashimi lunch combo with a spicy tuna roll instead. And a hot and sour soup, which is very very good. Their wonton soup is also very good and a generous portion. I believe they make their own wonton dumplings for the soup. Their hot food lunch menu is also a great deal and delicious.

"Hidden Gem Alert! If you're in Cross River , you absolutely must try Tzen Asian Bistro. I recently had the pleasure of trying their lunch specials, and wow, was I blown away! The Szechuan crispy shredded beef was a flavor explosion – perfectly crispy, with just the right amount of spice . We also had the eggplant in garlic sauce , it was very flavorful . The portions were also very generous .

The food is pretty good and they have reasonably priced lunch specials. I’m glad a place like this is around here and it doesn’t deserve the rating it has

The food is great, service is very good but the restaurant is always empty which is a pity. They should do at least few days a week a "all you can eat" for like $25 per person. Get more traction so people get to know the restaurant. They should just do better on that area as the restaurant has all the potential to be full at all times and yet always empty.

I’ve only taken out. Have not eaten in so can’t comment on service, etc. raised in nyc, I’m a Chinatown devotee. I’ve eaten Asian cuisine for close to 60 years far and wide. This restaurant shocked me with how good every dish I’ve tried. From crispy fried dumplings, to perfect hot and sour soup to entrees, every dish has been truly excellent. I rarely give 5 stars in any review. This restaurant deserves it.

I have ordered twice from Tzen. First time I got the Sushi Lunch. The fish tasted as if it was caught that morning. Second time I got mixed vegetables in garlic sauce. Again — so fresh and the sauce was just right — very light and du not overpower the taste of the vegetables. Sesame noodles also delicious.

We get it delivered—sushi is a grade above most places—very fresh—inventive rolls—so good that it would be a disservice to not leave a very positive review! Even the wonton soup was extraordinary!

Food always arrives hot and fresh when ordered for delivery, staff is also conscious about labeling food with names if needed. When dining in, staff is friendly and food is always delicious. Lunch specials are a must :)

Authentic chinese food in the area. Ordered the crispy noodles w seafood, and it was like ordering in Hong Kong — a little sweet, and the seafood was a tad over cooked, but honestly, I’ve been looking and this place comes closest to authentic in the area. The dimsum is also worth trying.

Didn’t have high expectations but was surprised. A restaurant needs courage to put the Roasted Duck in the menu in such an area that is lack of Asian customers. But as a Cantonese I have to say, it was way more authentic than I expected. The meat was moist and juicy, with correct flavor. The skin was crispy. A small disappointment was that it didn’t come with the plum sauce but hoisin sauce. And it should be made with a duck with better quality, but that would be more expensive, so I think the way now is acceptable. Overall, it is absolutely worth a try. We also tried two dim sums. The Pork Soup Dumplings were more like a homemade style, looking awkward but tasting not bad. I couldn’t help eating one more although I knew it would make me fat. The Crystal Skin Shrimp Dumplings (Har Gao) weren’t cooked well. They were over-steamed and the skin was too moist. But it still tasted good inside. I believe they have a good Cantonese chef I would definitely like to try more Cantonese dishes here.

Used to be Haiku but now under new management. I like it better now. Ate here this Saturday and very much enjoyed our meal. We had a variety of sushi, soup and an app. All was very good. The Chinese food aspect seems to be a bigger part of the menu. The Won Ton soup was excellent. I had the Char Shui a previous time and it too was great. I haven't tried the dumplings yet because they are crazy expensive. Can't bring myself to order $12 soup dumplings or Shrimp dumplings, especially because the number of dumplings per order are so small. Not sure what is going on with the pricing, but hopefully the owners read this and come to their senses. Still, I enjoy eating here. UPDATE: Eat the roast duck!! Delicious, juicy and plentiful for 2 people.

Ordered in and I would say it was pretty mediocre. I don’t know why there are raisins in a shrimp fried rice either…. It doesn’t necessarily taste bad but Not authentic at all

Picked up dumplings, chicken & broccoli and wonton soup. The chicken was very chewy which seemed off because very thin, well cooked sliced pieces of chicken should not be chewy. No tenderness. Threw it out.

The food is good enough overall but the prices have increased far beyond a typical suburban Chinese restaurant. It's cheaper to eat at upscale local Italian. The service in the restaurant is usually good and courteous.

Please don’t say “Crispy” General Tso Chicken. There was absolutely nothing crispy about this. Very expensive

The food was good and fresh however the customer service was not so great. We came here on a Saturday night and were rushed to finish the food and leave so they can go home for the night before closing time. We were still enjoying our food but the waitress came with the check already at the table without us asking. We didn't even have the chance to add on dessert. Soon, she came by to ask if the check was taken care of yet and no because we were eating still. So we had to stop eating, wipe our hands and pay right away before we can finish the food. They even turned off the air conditioning, TV and some lights. They close at 10pm on Saturday's and it was 9:32pm and we were being rushed to leave. We left there by 9:40pm. It wasn't like we overstayed. What's the point of having business hours? Not a pleasant experience having to shove food down while they're all standing there watching with their coats on ready to leave.

I tried it 3 time fist time food not cooked right they had a power issue and I let it slide 2ed time the food was so so 3ed time I ordered sushi and it was tasteless every time was way over priced. I only hope the go out of business soon, so a new owner can take a shot at it. Sorry guys but it’s true all the other 4 star reviews I would not trust. I’m trying to be kind and am sad cuz I have ordered 1000 times from this location and don’t have a good place in town for Chinese food.
