We ate indoors and ordered steak, patatas bravas, and the “digestion plate” which is a sampler of local dishes. The food was delicious and the staff really worked hard to keep up with everything. This is a small, busy restaurant and it was full of locals and tourists at the peak of lunchtime. It was pretty crowded and hard to navigate but still worth it.

The bad revews of that place seem absurd for me. I am not a meat lover, but tripe and lamb stew were so enjoable and fresh! Meat is the specialty of the restaraunt as well as Cuenca's, but other options ( croquets, cheese) are also available. The quality of product is top. The place is simple, personnel don't speak English which is a good sign of nob-touristy places. We communicated via translated. Service was promt and efficient. The restaraunt is located 5-7 minutes walk from the Plaza Mayor and the Cathedral. Definetely worth a visit!

You generally eat well in Spain... but you eat amazingly well at El Caserio. Go for their huge Menu del Dia at 15 Euros and take the time to enjoy the breathtaking view with a glass of wine. One of the best investment I have made in my life!

We sat outside opposite the restaurant and the views were superb and service was still good. Portions were generous and we enjoyed our lunch.

Recomendable si quieres probar un poco de todo de la gastronomía de Cuenca. Recomiendo sobre todo la degustación. Eche un poco de menos que las patatas fuesen patatas fritas normales, pero no estaban mal. Las carnes un poco correosas algunos cortes.

Un lugar situado en lo alto de cuenca, con muy buenas vistas. Carta con platos típicos, donde hay mix para probar varios de ellos a la vez. Las carnes muy buenas, además magníficas cantidades. Las costillas muy sabrosas, además con mucha carne, aunque personalmente un poquito quemadas. Por otro lado, los postres muy buenos, tanto la tarta de queso como la longaniza de chocolate. Comida a la parrilla aceptable, el término de la carne que pedí no fue el correcto. Pero en general el sitio está bien, el servicio profesional y la persona hoster que tienen en la puerta es muy correcto. Sitio y servicio excelente, cocina aceptable.

Hemos comido un parrillada más que aceptable a un precio correcto. La recomendación que nos han hecho sobre es tomate con ventresca no ha podido ser más acertada, ¡¡Un tomate de 10!. El servicio perfecto y el ambiente muy agradable. Repetiremos seguro.

Reservamos para comer para 4 personas, tienen una terraza con buenas vistas y el local interior es todo acristalado. Pedimos para comer: Zarajos por unidades, patatas bravas, morcillas, torrezno (bueno) y secreto a la brasa(Bueno).De bebida Cocacola botella de 237 ml, y tanque de cerveza. Los camareros nos atendieron muy bien.

Habia mucha cola y tuvimos que esperar (hasta aquí bien), pero no nos pareció bien que colara a dos parejas que estaban detrás de nosotros en dos mesas que estaban al lado y se podrían haber juntado para nosotros. De todas formas, el personal fue amable con lo que luego mejoró la experiencia. Tienen un menú por 15€ que es válido el fin de semana, donde los platos son pequeños y no del otro mundo pero por 15€ no está mal. Puedes aparcar en lo alto de la calle y tienes buenas vistas.

Acudimos para cenar después de dar una vuelta por el centro y la zona del castillo. El trato desde el inicio fue amable y encantador por parte de los empleados del local. Cenamos morteruelo (riquísimo), lomo con pisto y secreto ibérico y de postre tarta de queso (aunque por forma y textura parecía más un flan). Estaba todo super rico y muy bien de precio. Lo recomiendo sin duda.

El restaurante estaba lleno pero nos dejaron pasar a tomar algo en lo que quedaba libre una mesa. Probamos el plato de gustacion, las patatas bravas y la parrilla de carne, el chorizo y la morcilla de lo mejor. De postres probamos el flan y la tarta de queso buenísima. Tardan algo de tiempo en tomarte nota porque sólo uno de los tres camareros lo anota pero la comida llegó rápido.

Very surprised by all the good reviews. We have eaten out a lot in Spain/Portugal in the last 2 weeks, all across the country, from Bilbao to Galicia to Braga to Madrid. This was by far the worst food we have eaten. Ordered the calamares (overcooked and stringy/chewy/hard to swallow) and the mixed BBQ grill with multiple meats. The meat quality was very poor but, worse, badly cooked. The pork and chicken both looked a bit pink but it was hard to tell due to the light (it was dark) and, sure enough, I have been quite ill this morning as my body tries to digest the undercooked meat. Hoping I don't have food poisoning or anything more serious from the chicken/pork. Avoid this place would be my advice, if you value your health and/or want nice food. The service on the other hand was excellent,

Fuimos mi pareja y yo a comer y unos de los platos, pedimos medio conejo a la brasa y eso no parecia conejo por la carne que era..le dijimos que la cabeza que era lo que mas nos gustaba que porque no nos la habían puesto el camarero nos dijo que lo iba a preguntar y al llegar a la mesa la respuesta fue “están muy liados y no me han sabido responder " pienso que si tu pides medio conejo lo suyo esque te pongan la mitad con la cabeza incluida más que nada para saber lo que te estas comiendo porque eso no sabia ni parecia conejo.
