Opiniones de Da Mario Curtatone
Excellent pizza, large size, well-topped, delicious down to the last slice, and above all... digestible. The service staff is young, smiling, and helpful. Impossible? Go and try it for yourself! ...that's my advice.
We've been to this trattoria several times, where you can savor traditional dishes with a modern twist, and now I can say that, after sampling several dishes, the quality is top-notch. I also want to praise the service, which is young and attentive. Our requests for changes to the menu were actually granted.
It's my first time at this pizza restaurant and I'm completely satisfied! The atmosphere is super chill but well-kept and industrial, with young and friendly waiters. This evening we all opted for pizza, and I had high expectations for this very thin and crunchy Roman pizza. Besides the pizza, I get a 10/10, and the dessert (brownies with zabaglione and berries) is superb. Highly recommended ✨✨
You can't imagine the caramelized onions they serve here—a riot of unique and fantastic flavors in their simplicity. But the ability to combine simple ingredients with such mastery has never left me speechless. A truly exceptional trattoria. I gave it 5 stars because it's the best I can get. The young, dynamic staff flit from table to table with a smile and exemplary positivity. This place is truly exceptional, a must-try.
We went for Ferragosto (August holiday). The dishes were excellent, with a superb lemon and basil sorbet. The service was quick and courteous. We spent €86 [€43 per person] for the dishes you see in the photo, plus two 33cl beers and a mineral water. For a trattoria, it's perhaps a bit pricey... but that's just my opinion.
We visited Grazie on a scorching June day, during a motorcycle ride. We stopped in for lunch at this restaurant, which doesn't look like a true trattoria of yesteryear, but that doesn't detract from the wonderful experience. It's air-conditioned and the staff are incredibly friendly, offering us a table larger than necessary to store our helmets and jackets. The dishes are a delightful reinterpretation of traditional fare, with a cured meats appetizer served with warm focaccia, agnolini pasta as a first course, and sbrisolona with zabaglione, along with water and coffee. Truly excellent.
Lovely place to eat in the evening in a small village away from the tourist crowds. The pizzas were delicious and large 🍕 A young team who really give a good service!! Thank you 😎
I had dinner here on a Tuesday evening, and everything was truly excellent! The young people were incredibly kind and polite. The food was delicious. I had the pumpkin tortelli with gorgonzola, which were truly delicious. The pizzas were also very good, thin and large. The dessert was also delicious. Excellent value for money, definitely a great place to spend a pleasant evening!
A lovely place in the small village of Grazie. The restaurant's interior has been renovated, and the aesthetic effect is truly pleasing. The menu is typically Mantuan, with inviting reinterpretations, but also features some delicious fish dishes. The pizza is very good. Light, flaky dough, well-seasoned. It's large, but you can easily reach the end. The desserts are good. The staff is very young, and deserves praise for the amount of stairs they climb in one evening. Prices are slightly higher than average. The choice of two sittings, 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM, is a bit limiting, but given that the place was packed, perhaps it's a good solution (for the managers).
We've been to this restaurant twice in the space of a week, and I can say we had a great experience. It's a long-established osteria in the beautiful historic village of Grazie di Curtatone (MN), and has been completely renovated while maintaining its welcoming atmosphere. The management is young and very attentive, and the service is friendly and pleasant. We had two first courses and dessert the first time, and pizza the second time. I'd say everything was excellent: the first courses were well-prepared, in just the right amount and beautifully presented, the pizza was light and delicious, and the desserts were equally interesting! Recommended for an evening in a small historic village in a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. I forgot about the excellent wine list! We'll definitely be back.
I've written 436 reviews and am a level 8 guide, and this is the first time I've been very pleased to give a solid 5 stars to this restaurant, which is run by two young men and serves dishes of extraordinary quality. I'll start with the location, which gave me a lovely feeling of tranquility. The menu was adequate and simple (finally... it's absurd to see menus with 100 types of dishes that the chef doesn't cook). I had an appetizer with local prosciutto and caramelized onion, which was delicious. The bread was fresh and super good considering it was a Sunday lunch (and I'm writing this as a true Apulian). My first course was the Agnoli and cannerozzetti, which were EXTRAORDINARY. Two dishes that you had to mop up with bread because they were so good. The dessert was also EXCEPTIONAL. I'll finish by saying that the bathrooms were also beautiful and ABOVE ALL CLEAN (you can see the photos). Prices are average for a restaurant of this level and quality. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE STAFF AT THE RESTAURANT AND A SPECIAL MENTION FOR THE CHEF AND HIS FRIENDLY COMPANION WHO WELCOMED US.
The atmosphere is welcoming and modern, with only the name and perhaps the opening date being old-fashioned. Pleasant, low-key background music: soul, R&B, jazz, and funky. I usually avoid restaurants that also offer pizza, but for this place, I happily made an exception. The menu is well-curated and fairly short, ensuring the quality of the ingredients. The wine list is good. The tartare is excellent, served beautifully with diced apple. The pumpkin tortelli are delicious. Well done.
We ordered appetizers and fish entrees, which definitely pleased our palates. However, we were disappointed by some aspects of the service. We ordered a certain type of wine, but only after we'd finished the appetizer were they told us they didn't have it. They brought us another one without any problem. We then ordered desserts and were informed that, to apologize for the mix-up and the wait for the wine, they would offer them to us (we ordered a rose cake and a pudding, for a total of €15.50). We went to pay and were told the bill was €115.50; to apologize for the mix-up with the wine, they gave us a €5.50 discount. We left the restaurant and also discovered that they had charged us for the wine that wasn't actually there and that cost €1 more. We didn't mind paying more. The food was truly good, and we recognize its value. However, the false promises somewhat ruined our evening. We recommend communicating better with each other and avoiding these types of situations, especially if you want to become a top-notch trattoria. I hope you don't take this as a personal criticism, but rather as a starting point for growth and improvement.
A mid-range restaurant with young, enthusiastic staff. The dishes didn't convince me; reading the ingredients on the menu, I expected something more. The ragù for the tagliatelle with guinea fowl didn't taste much like guinea fowl. The cured meats were good. The meat, so-so. The macaroni and pumpkin, a bit too sweet.
