Visited on Sunday Nov 3rd around noon. They were very busy, but our waitress Christina was awesome. So friendly and helpful. She explained all our options on what we wanted. The food was served quickly and was hot and fresh. Wonderful experience!!

Karla Perez is the most awesome server ever! We always sit in her area and she always remembers us and our drink and food orders. Ask for her, you won’t be disappointed.

Every year during the holidays I always stop in to get an omelette from Denny's. Three years ago If I recall correctly I started to ask if they could put banana cream over my entire meal. Carlos our waiter has now completely set the bar so far out of reach, I'm not sure it can get better. Thank you so much for making my creation the best it's ever been. We like to go to this Denny's which is close to our house. This morning we went for breakfast and it was wonderful - the omelets were delicious (it was hard choosing an entree, so many options in the menu!) and our waitress Araceli was very attentive and ensured we had a great dining experience. Our go-to-place for dining out!

Me and my party of friends came into the restaurant after watching our movie. We came in around 1am to the dead store and got to choose our seat!! Fun! Our server MONICA came by quickly to take our order I already thought she was pretty cool/nice! We chatted with her for hours just sharing silly stories and hanging out! Monica was by far the best server I’ve ever had!! I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much at a servers stories!! Not only was she funny but she was attentive to any of the needs that we had (mostly more water and coffee haha)!! I will definitely go back to see her if I ever find myself out late like this again!!

You can clearly see her leadership in how smoothly the staff operates and how guests are taken care of.

Great attentiveness to all guests. Our waiter Dalian was amazing. Karla and Carmen were not our waitress yet that didn’t matter to them. They made sure all guests were happy and relaxed. Also showed continuous wiping and cleaning to the tables and floor.

Same as other locations, this one also offers friendly and outstanding customer service. It also have the plexiglass on top of backs of the seats to serve as partition or shielding for maintaining social distancing. On the other hand, it does not have the big round lamps in the ceiling. The cash register area is so close to the door that it feels a little cramped when you are in line to pay.

Our server Grace was fantastic. She was very attentive and nice. The food was great and hot.

I am not exaggerating at all. Hear me out-they used a round cut brioche bread and filled it with a sweet velvety cream concoction and topped it off with FRESH sliced strawberries served with a side of strawberry jelly. The edge of the brioche bread was crispy and each side was toasted in butter. Run, don't walk, but RUN and order this before they remove it from the menu. I'm definitely ordering the strawberry stuffed french toast from NOW ON lol 🤣 I'm telling you it's worth every cent and calorie. My youngest son ordered the double cheeseburger and when I tell you we were blown away by the PRESIDENTIAL PRESENTATION of this burger when it came to the table, just trust and believe me and look at the pictures at his reaction lol. Never have I ever seen such perfection to detail to make a burger look EXACTLY LIKE THE PICTURES ON THE MENU and to top it off, it was HOT and JUICY! Even halfway through eating the burger it was still steaming!! Seriously his burger tasted as good as it looked and he couldn't stop telling our waitress Elvia how AMAZING it was. 🥰 MY TAKEAWAY: Will we come back? Absolutely! Went here with family for the first time in cypress rather than highway 6. Service was fast and super friendly. Ordered the mama pot roast, there was much more than I gotten at the other location. All of our food was hot too. Would recommend to go again and now it be go to Denny's

As we drove up we worried that it would be a long wait to have breakfast since the parking lot was full. As we walked in we were immediately seated. Did something I haven't done in a long time. Go eat breakfast for dinner. We were out late and enjoyed some fast Denny's there was some good food there. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff was very nice.. I did learn that the waitress is there only get paid $2 an hour and really rely on tips. I tipped her well and I just hope that Denny's can do better and help these waitresses by giving them a living wage! It's not like Denny's is high class where they can get high dollar tips.

The employees were polite, courteous professionals. And knowledgeable about the menu prices and changes. The food was nicely prepared, plated and not just thrown on a plate. On June 11th, we stopped at the Denny’s in Cypress for breakfast! We were greeted by several staff members. The place was clean despite the rainy day… Our server Kirsten M. is amazing! Right away thanking my husband for his service. My husband, retired Army, and I are living in Italy while he continues to support our MIL. He has been talking about having breakfast at Denny’s so he can have the Buffalo Chicken strips. Kirsten brought him a taste of the new sauce to make sure he’d like it. We truly enjoyed our breakfast. The food was amazing! I forgot to take pics of my food… but in the pics are the omelette and hash browns and the beloved chicken strips! On the way out I spoke to the manager about how great her team is! I believe her name is Karla. Truly a great team!!! Thanks for keeping core values Denny’s. Love Denny's, food is always good. Generous portions and great value for the price. Lately service has been lacking. Most recently I visited and received my food before I ever received my drink, had to wait and ask two different people for refill and watched five different wait persons congregate up atthe register and talk while waiting on additional service.

I really miss the Philly Skillet, I don't eat pork so when I saw the Pot roast skillet I figured, why not? It was good but I didn't love it, it just doesn't compare. The French Toast is delicious as usual, our server brought me the hot syrup I requested and I was happy. My daughter had a burger, cooked to perfection. I can't complain, we come here for comfort food and we are always comforted. 🙂

1st time eating at Denny's, went pretty well. I had multiple workers check on me to make sure I was fine. The burger was juicy and the caramelized onions were full of flavor. Had desert to top it off. Good experience for $20 bucks.

We came here for 4th of july breakfast. There was no wait so we got seated right away. Our server Itzamary was super sweet, attentive and very friendly. We ordered philly omelette, french toast and kids choc chip pancakes. Philly omelette was good, quantity of meat was on the less side but tasted decent. French toast was really nice not overly sweet and we also got sugar free syrup. The only thing that bugged me was seeing 2 mid size roaches - one in the main dining area and one big one in the bathroom. Bathrooms were clean though. Dining area was otherwise clean and well kept.

Hello, I recently placed a late-night order and was very disappointed with what I received. I paid the adult price for my meal, but the portion of vegetables was extremely small — literally about two tablespoons, closer to a child’s portion. I wanted to bring this to your attention because the value received did not match what I paid for. Hadn't eaten at Denny's in years but decided to stop by 3/18/24 @7pm because I wanted breakfast to go. Tried the stuffed strawberry French toast slam with hashbrowns on the side. The stuffed french toast, eggs, hashbrowns and bacon were ok. But those sausage links were undercooked. When it comes to pork, I like mine well done. If you like undercooked pork, this place may be for you. Thanks Denny's but no thanks. And thank you for reminding me why I stay away.

I decided to write this review several months after my last experience at this Denny’s. Mainly for my own safety and to give some time for changes to take place. I returned here last weekend from a trip back from Austin, after many months, and I can say there has been noticeable improvement since my previous visit. During my visit many months back, I had a very unpleasant experience with a server named Karla Perez. Her behavior was extremely unprofessional, inappropriate, rude and very low-class. She repeatedly brought up her hourly pay being $2.13/hour and aggressively insisted that my boyfriend and I should tip her, even referencing the Audi my boyfriend drove as a reason we “should be able to tip well.” It made us both very uncomfortable. What was more concerning was that I noticed a pattern. She seemed to speak differently to customers based on who they were. At several nearby tables, she was genuinely rude and pressuring guests who are black for tips while being overly polite and attentive to guests who are white. That kind of inconsistent and biased behavior is wrong and unacceptable in any professional setting, especially one that serves the public. When I brought the issue up to the lady Hispanic manager at the time, I was rudely dismissed and told that the Karla was one of their best employees and that I shouldn't lie about Karla, which made the situation even more frustrating. Lastly, as we were leaving, I witnessed Karla showing the middle finger toward us through the window, all because we choose not to tip because of her behavior. I honestly didn’t feel safe saying anything online at the time because I felt Karla would search me up online and exploit me, but I decided to give the restaurant another chance. On my recent visit, I spoke briefly with our new server about what had happened. They told me that Karla was fired from the company and that many others had genuinely felt uncomfortable around her and also had issues working with her because of her arrogance. Hearing that was such a relief. It showed that Denny’s management eventually took the right steps to maintain the professionalism and integrity of their establishment. The service this time was much better, and the overall environment, without the oppression of such a low lífe being Karla Perez, has felt more positive and respectful. While my previous experience was deeply disappointing, I appreciate that the restaurant has since corrected the situation and seems to be moving in a much better direction. Thank you!

This review might be long because I really feel sad and hurt. We have been going to this Denny’s for over 15 years since we moved to cypress. Now, we live in Magnolia, but we still drive 15 miles to go there because it brings a lot of good memories. We made it our going to place for breakfast at least once a month . The grand kids love this place. Well, today I got there 10 minutes before a friend and I told the waitress we will be two but she brought only one menu. Than I asked for a water with my coffee that I never got. Still it was not a big deal and I didn’t realize that she didn’t speak or understand English until I got my food. I ordered French Toast a la carte from the stuffedFrench Toast Slam and one order of grits . I showed her the picture so there will not be any confusion. She brought me two little French Toast with no stuffing or berries and no grits. I was still OK and admiring the fact that she is working and really wanted to support her. So, I waived to another waitress and tried to explain to her that this is not what I ordered. She went and got a menu and slapped it on the table to show me how their French Toast comes if I didn’t ask for stuffed one. I tried to tell her that I showed the waitress the picture knowing that I probably needed to do that. But, instead of replacing my order with the correct one( the right thing to do) even if she believed it was my mistake she kept telling me me that’s what I ordered and wouldn’t give a chance to talk. At that moment all what I said (very politely) are you going to stop talking and give a chance to talk? Her reply was: you don’t have to be rude and she left. Well, we stood up and started walking to leave the restaurant. But, she kept screaming and telling us that’s her store and we were not welcome there. I am a 68 years old and believe me I had never been so insulted in my life. I am very disappointed.

So we walk in and the host is having issues with a customer because of the waitress . We have to sit ourselves and waitress gives service to people who are behind us . She then comes to us takes out beverages and as you can see she doesn’t understand what light on ice means . She brought me a cup full of ice and little water . The may special doesn’t specify one not being able to substitute my bacon for links . Seems like the waitress doesn’t want to deal with a specific order and tells us we have to take it as it’s shown on the picture. We been dining at dennys all month long and this is the only location that makes up rules . Seems like there is tension between staff so waitress all seem to have a attitude. Asked for crispy hashbrowns and got an undercooked serving . Eggs seem to also be an issue because serving was small .

Grossed out! This place is has nasty wet moldy rotting wood benches. Has odor smell from it. (Right side of the restaurant) The seats were very uncomfortable and this the food quality they serve you. Burnt!😡

Kids menu very clearly says kids eat free daily after 4pm, this was not mentioned while ordering when I pointed it out. And then at checkout was told “oh we don’t do that” not my first time at this location but definitely a first for me for that to suddenly not work

Stopped here to get a bite of food because you can get almost anything at Dennys, and usually the food is good…but that was not the case tonight. Was very unimpressed with the service. For starters the manager, whose name I don’t know because he conveniently had his name tag turned upside down so you couldn’t see it, was sitting on the side of the restaurant that was closed socializing with some dude instead of helping the one waitress that had all of the tables. When my husband mentioned to him that we had been sitting looking at our food that was in the window waiting to be brought to our table he finally got up and told us that there was only one cook and that we needed to be patient. He continued to stand around not doing anything but giving us the death stare because we dared to say something to him. As we were leaving, he finally attempted to help the waitress deliver food to one table. Managers should lead, should take point and jump in to help wherever needed for overall good customer service.

well me and wife decided to eat there today boy was that a mistake the service was terrible and so was the and the manager has no business running that restaurant i don't even think she would be able to be a good table cleaner they need to put some one that knows what their doing or hire the managers from Whataburger cause they have more professionalism than that manager that is running it now. i had to send my food back cause it was cold.

Me along with my family decided to go to Denys after a movie to get breakfast , after we were seated our orders were takin incorrectly 3 times but the most interesting part was the roach on the wall behind us . I addressed the situation at the front desk at checkout and asked is there anything we can do to comp for the roach and the comment from the one of the employees was very striking to me “ oh I’m so sorry about that we have trees around the restaurant” ; nowhere near the restaurant and when I asked if we could be comp she replied “ well was the roach in the food ? “ regardless of the roach was in the food , it shouldn’t be in the restaurant . I understand it’s late at night and it’s Denys but as a General Manager in retail , I wouldn’t talk to my people that way much less train my employees to speak that way .

I come to this location a few times a week and hardly ever is my food made correctly! The night staff super friendly that’s only time the food is good. The staff in the day time are not friendly hardly smile. I got a super slam eggs were over cooked and the bacon wasn’t cooked like i asked if i didn’t have to go back to work i would have asked them to remake it. I think i need to switch locations i just wouldn’t recommend unless you go at night! The only thing that was good was the pancakes I got the super slam!

Today, Friday, around 5:30 PM, I decided to go to the closest Denny’s as I just moved to the area. I’ve always liked Denny’s, so I was excited to eat there. Unfortunately, the service was poor. I ordered the Lumberjack Slam, and they served me the meal without the toast, the ham, and the pancakes. I only got the pancakes after I got up and went to the counter to ask for them. I also ordered coffee, but it took a long time to serve it. It was an uncomfortable and disappointing experience. I hope they improve the service.

Now Denny's.....😑 Look at this cotton picking picture! First off the manager didn't say hello or welcome to Denny's. Just grabbed the menu and told me to follow him. Now! Let's get to the food review. The food was terrible and awful. Maybe the cook was rushing or having a bad day. Because the hash browns were burnt on one side and the other side half cooked. Now look at the eggs terrible 😔 I was on the toilet for two days behind these eggs not cooked properly. Omgoodness! Please if you go to this restaurant look at the food and inspect before you eat it. I didn't eat the pork sausage but the bacon was good. And another thing everyone doesn't like to have their butter on their toast already. There was too much butter at that. My cholesterol level would have jumped through the roof! Let's do better at this location Denny's 😑

It took a while to get a seat. Then what I ordered came without hashbrown, and my toast looked like someone slept on it. It's my 2nd time at a Dennys and my last time. They charge more for food and usually don't give you what you order.

NO STAR AT ALL HOUR WAITING!!!!! Waiter rude only had one guy his food and he was out many clients here very anxious waiting …..it’s messs… first definitely last time…

We are veterans and have eaten at this Denny’s in cypress over 15 years ordered a BLT and it was the worse’s ever!! then get to the register where Daniel was working and told him we were veterans and our discount and was told us that they only give aarp discounts which is not true!! This was the worse experience and I figured out that Breakfast is the best time to eat at Dennys because the evening people don’t care about the customers!!..

I would've told y'all what the food taste like but we left we was sitting waiting for a Grand slam breakfast a basic quick platter that only the eggs and toast need to be done fresh 37mins and still didn't get our food two groups came after us and got they're food 1st so we got up and left I left $10 for the two drinks that tasted like soap or cleaner the heavy sit waitress took the $10 and pocket it smh time of arrival Feb 7 2026,@ 9:21 p.m left at 10.14 p.m and empty stomachs bad taste of soap in our mouths restaurant smells bad extremely dirty and manager just chilling sitting on his phone waste of 51 mins and $10

I used to go here to spend time with my family until an incident occurred in which one of the waiters attended us took our order and left us seated for an hour. She would purposely skip our table and serve everyone else but us. I’m not sure if she was racist we were the only colored people there. She didn’t put in our orders and still expected us to pay.Absolutely horrible experience.

We were a party of 4 it took awhile to get our drinks. She came to the table took our order. As we waited for our food other people who came after us got there food first and they were a bigger party. We just ordered 2 Cali sandwiches and one slam. The place was not busy.

Yesterday I went to eat with my family at Dennys. I really feel that the attention was good but the waitress when taking us the check asked a question outside the place that how much we were going to stop tipping I think it is not the right to ask that kind of questions I work in a restaurant and people are never asked how much you are going to leave a tip also there was another waitress who behaved badly with other tables and did not want to serve them and referred to an older lady as a stupid old woman I think that Dennys should really know what kind of people to hire because making that kind of comments has nothing ethical.

Food is cold and NOT COOKED, all I wanted was French toast and hash browns. Neither are cooked or good. This place has really gone down. Never again!
