Honestly, for a cheap buffet, it somewhat gave me a little Vegas feel. Food was always coming, everything was fresh and tasty. If you try, it will actually experience some of the best tasting american Chinese dishes that you have ever had. The crabs were full size and full of flavor. The place can get crowded, especially on weekends, but it's worth it, and once you have had it, it will see why it's crowded. Being crowded also means it might take some finessing to find parking. All in all, great taste, great value. I can't wait to go back.

I couldn't possibly count how many Asian buffets I have been to but this is the first time the Mongolian Grill guy actually cooked my plate thoroughly super stoked!

I like this buffet place for its verify of food and great service. It has some unique dishes that I cannot find in other comparible Chinese buffet place. I think the Mongolian stir fry dish has some room for improvement. Usually go there with friends. Waiting queue is usually very long but organize enough and to be expected for the value and quality of service. So, expect long wait time.

Oh my goodness .. This King Buffet was absolutely delicious and amazing. I was overwhelmed by the decorations and lighting.. The aisles were laid out and plenty of seating.. Soo many choices of a total meal. All the food was very tasty and delicious.. Every employee was professional, friendly and helpful. . Get there early or you'll be waiting in a long line but it was well worth the wait.. The price was in line for one awesome meal.. I can't wait to return to this buffet.. Keep up the good work.. ☺

Food was great! We went about lunchtime and it was busy but not overcrowded. Waitress was on top of all her tables with refills. Was plenty of food, and lots of variety and nice and hot. Would definitely recommend going if in neighborhood. Can't wait for the one to open in Hudson Oaks, TX.

For sure this is my new favorite spot 🫡 food is fresh and nice, plenty to choose from, salad, grill, sushi, sea, fruits, etc. no complaints, super crowded though, is like you have to wait on line pretty much to grab yourself something lol but it was Friday at 9pm so that’s totally understandable. Definitely will be back 🤝

For $12 all-you-can-eat, this place is pretty awesome. Great variety of foods including a good selection of sushi, desserts and fresh fruits, different Asian foods, seafood, American, and build your own bowl -station. Went for a late lunch and sure, some of the food tasted like it had been sitting there for a while, but vast majority of it was very fresh and tasty. Waitress was super attentive and overall the place was very tidy and clean.

So much variety. The Mongolian Grill is delicious. They have a wide variety of seasonings. Everything is so fresh. I can't say enough about all the options. The waitstaff is attentive. The buffet is super clean. It was very busy and the food was plentiful.

The most important part for me is to have great hot food and this place has it! Chocolate ice cream was super gross. The waitress seemed tired of working her job her face said it all. The buffet area is well kept. Super busy on a Saturday. The only frustrating thing are the chairs they don't slide in nor out. They stay stuck in the carpet. My 12 year old almost hit her teeth on the table.

You can always judge the quality of a buffet by how busy it is. It took 15 minutes to get a table with a line out the door. It was worth the weight. The food is constantly being brought out. I enjoy more the frsh sushi and grill options. The Ahi Tuna is a favorite . The service is good and quick for refills and plate clearing.

I’ve been here several times now and it’s time to leave a review. I’m not a big buffet person but this one I love. The food is always fresh and the options endless. My personal favorite is the Mongolian which most buffets don’t offer. Large selection of fruits and desserts to finish everything off. Definitely worth a stop if you are hungry!

Really lovely, spacious environment. Huge, beautiful chandelier, The waitress was quick to clear table. Many choices of food, all of which were delicious. One thing they had that you don't see too often was fried, soft shelled crab, seasoned with some sort of BBQ seasoning. All in all, it was a great experience. Attaching a photo of the first chandelier, as you walk into the lobby. I apologize, I don't eat rice or noodles, so I can't advise on any of that. But I did eat the fish off the sushi and it was wonderful.

Honestly, if you love Chinese food and buffets, this is one of my top choices. The price is pretty reasonable considering you even get crab legs. There is plenty and a good variety. The food is fresh and they keep bringing in fresh food out. The place itself is really nice. The restrooms are super clean too. Yay! Definitely a plus! I love that they have the area where you choose your meats/veggies and condiments and they cook it on the spot. The sushi bar is nice too. Good variety to pick from. Their hot and sour soup is delicious too. They have a chocolate fondue fountain too and many sweet treats.

Our 2nd time going here for a major holiday like thousands of other hungry Texans and it did not disappoint. The service was speedy, food was delicious, and for ~18 per person it was a win!

A good place to go for a buffet and found I can choose from a variety of Asian foods . This was my first time here and the food was really delicious and hot. Also have to quote the friendly behaviour of staff. I went on a Sunday lunch time and the hotel was too busy and had a wait time of 30 minutes in the queue. The parking lot was full and I parked my car opposite the hotel crossing the road. Except that the rest were good.

BEST buffet I've EVER been to. The selection was enormous, the sushi was delicious, they even had poke grade tuna and salmon for you to have and it was soooo good. The sides were great and the dessert was yummy. All for 20 bucks! They even gave me a wall scroll for the holidays! 10/10

Definitely one of the largest buffets I've ever been to. Service was great from the wait staff who promptly refilled drinks and cleared empty plates. A lot of the food items were extremely delicious. Something not included in the pictures is a maid to order bowl station, that they grill and cook for you. It was definitely a ton of food for the price.

There’s a huge variety of food here, so no matter what you’re craving, you can usually find something that hits the spot. From Chinese dishes to sushi, and even some American favorites, it’s all pretty fresh and tasty. I love that you can try a little bit of everything without having to commit to just one dish. The staff here are friendly and keep everything well stocked. Even when it gets busy, they’re constantly refilling trays and making sure things stay clean, which makes the whole experience a lot more enjoyable. Drinks are easy to get and the service is quick if you need anything. The restaurant itself is spacious and comfortable, with plenty of seating. It doesn’t feel cramped even on busier nights, which is nice. I’ve also noticed that everything is well maintained and clean, which isn’t always the case with buffets. Honestly, I came for the sushi—and it did NOT disappoint. For a buffet, the sushi at King Buffet is actually really good. They had so many different rolls—some with crab, some with spicy tuna, and even a few topped with sauces that tasted fresh and flavorful. The rice wasn’t dry at all, and they kept refilling it pretty fast so nothing sat out too long. I legit went back for seconds (okay, thirds 😅). If you’re a sushi lover on a budget, this place is a win.

King Buffet is honestly one of the best buffets I’ve been to! They have so many options — from sushi and hibachi to classic Chinese dishes and even American comfort food. I went on a SUNDAY at noon of all days. It was absolutely packed with people out the door. Although there was a wait, the staff handled everything perfectly. The server I got was kind and friendly even though it was extremely busy. Which I took note of. The food was really good. There are so many options! I took a few pictures, but I didn't get to take pictures of about half the food. So much variety too! I'm sure you will find something you like with all the variety. The sushi was great. Desserts were great. They even have ice cream. I highly recommend this place! I am definitely coming here again.

Second time eating here! We live 2 hours away and I'm sure we will eat there again. Love the variety of food choices, and good picky eaters.

There was about a 35 minute wait on Sunday evening at 6:30 p.m.. As the restaurant was full, service was spotty with no drink refills in sight. Overall everything on the hot buffet was replenished when needed. The sushi was fresh and desserts were tasty. This has to be the biggest buffet in Dallas and it certainly has a wide variety to choose from. Over all a step above most Asian food buffets as there are plenty of seafood and meat items. The cost of meal with drink was around $15.

Great variety and fresh turnover on the buffet. I enjoyed the Mongolian BBQ the best. Where are so many seafood options which is why we wanted to try this place out. Everything was fantastic except for the crab legs which is why I didn't go for the 5 stars. They could be cooked longer :( . Other than that it is definitely on my return list. The bathrooms are even nice and clean...yes I judge a place on the quality of the bathroom... lol.

Good place to try wide range of veg and non veg dishes, drinks are costly say lemonade would easily cost you 3$ including taxes but its optional. You will get a chance to pick up raw foods like meats, Fish and Sea Foods chef's will prepare your required dish for you. You can also try Sushi (A japanese dish) Wide range of Deserts, Ice creams and Soups. But overall its good people can try once in 3 months. I thoroughly enjoyed Fried shrimp pepper and garlic and also Crab fry. Check detail is as shown below: Buffet: 14.99 (Saturday and Sunday) Drink: 2.49$ Total including tax: 18.92$ Note1: Better to try during weekdays because it costs 10 to 11$ somehow cheap. Note2: Bill is attached for more clarity on tax + food costs Covid Best practice should be followed strictly because the crowd is too much just be careful, try to get out once done. Plan your dishes before landing it to the plates and do not load lots of dishes because majority of the people end up by wasting it. I personally don't like to waste food because there are so many people dying due to hunger.

This buffet is Very Good. This is the first buffet I've been to that serves the crab legs COLD.. YES cold and then charges you $1.00 to heat them up...OMG...LOL.... the butter(NOT REAL BUTTER) is warm enough for you to save that buck. They had a great variety of food choices and our waitress was very nice and did a good job of taking care of us. They have different locations in the Texas area. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area or locals that havent been here.

One of my favorite chinese buffets! Tons of food, fresh & hot, and always restocked! The mongolian grill is great too with a good amount of options. It gets a little crowded during the weekends, but definitely worth it.

I love the food here. The best of food therapy, I'm healed after every experience. Sometimes the place gets a little crowded over the weekends, but it's still great. The service is also very nice.

The food is fresh and hot. The restaurant was clean and our server was very nice and prompt. This location didn't have the exact same items as the one on Hay 75 in Plano but it still has an excellent variety of foods.

Good atmosphere, in general, eventhough many people visiting and we had to wait a little bit. Food is good and I really loved the fried rice. Never tried a fried rice like that any other place in Dallas.

One of the best buffet restaurants we've been to! Got seated right away and the staff overall was really warm and polite. Their sushi selection is outstanding and there was plenty to go around! Along with sushi they also have Mongolian style fresh bowl noodles and stir fry station. Now they have the regular staples and not all of them hit the spot like their green beans were wilted and pizza cold but that's to be expected. Overall definitely recommend them!

Hubby and I have been to many Chinese buffets in the DFW area, but King Buffet tops them all!!! 🌟 The quality of food is so much better than other places. No wonder why it's always so busy 😉 The restaurant is big, clean, and very inviting. The staff was very attentive. We will definitely be back, especially since it's close to our Church in Irving.

We went here on a Sunday and we had to wait about 15 to 20 minutes in the lobby to be seated. The place was packed, wall to wall people. There are so many dishes to choose from. The food is good therefore the place is always overcrowded. On the weekends expect long wait times. I’m a little bit OCD with the germs so I won’t be back here again. It’s very crowded with tables close together. This is my third time coming and will be my last. I was seated next to two very sick teenage boys this last trip. I’m talking, sneezing, coughing, blowing nose- clearly miserable, and their mom was just there slurping up the food like everything was normal. Even though this doesn’t reflect on the restaurant in anyway- the restaurant really is good and they have a good system. It’s just extremely overcrowded so if you are concerned about germs, I would skip it.

The food appeared to be overcooked. Later that evening, I began to feel nauseous and woke up around 1:00 a.m. with vomiting. While reflecting on the experience, I became concerned about several food handling practices I observed. I recall seeing an employee use their hand instead of a utensil to scoop food onto the buffet, and I also witnessed an individual place their finger into the chocolate fountain. These observations raised serious concerns about sanitation and food safety.

Well I wanted to check out this Chinese restaurant it was really packed that night we got a plate to go I love the fried shrimp and the fried rice was sweet taste little different from the other Chinese fried rice I tried the sour chicken was good would i go there again yeah I would go there again it was more packed then hibachi in corpus Christi tx cause it's Dallas tx area other than that the food was okay for me

This is a great place to go to for buffet. They have a huge selection to choose from. We went on a Friday because I seen they had crab. I was thinking crab legs...lol. It was actually crabs. It was still delicious. There was no wait time even if it was busy. The only things that I noticed was that, most people didn't put on the gloves to make food and the workers weren't forcing anyone to put on gloves. Also, we felt a little rushed after making a couple plates like they wanted us to leave. They brought our check before we stopped eating. I didn't get a chance to try the desserts. I normally relax a little before I head for desserts. It's okay though. I will be back again to try it again with my family.

On a trip to Dallas, I found this restaurant, first impression was good, the service was good, the only thing That I didn't like was the dessert area, some were already expired, even blackened like the flan, the fruits also looked bad and the chocolate fountain did not taste good, they need to put more care in this area everything else was very good.

It was not awful but it was just an average experience, same ol buffet nothing jaw dropping other than the extremely loud ambience and kids running around like it's a chuck e cheese. Cleanliness is a strong 2 and the food is just a greasy mess, while the sushi was their it was just extremely dry and mid tier at best. Didn't seem like anyone was really taking care of the actual buffet area in the slightest. For a cheap price point of 20 something bucks per hooligan it's not bad.

At Panda Express or Green Tea House, I can easily scarf an entree and half down, this place..not so much. Thoer opening one near me off Western Center in Ft. Worth, might try it.

The atmosphere was pleasant, but the food was quite disappointing. Most of the dishes were overly salty and dry. The bao buns were soggy, the ice cream had a strange, almost gasoline-like taste, and the cake balls were hard. The service also left much to be desired.

A cheap option with what you would expect in all that implies. There are many options, some of them tend to taste really similar in case of the Chinese dishes. Outside when I went it was quite shady.

This place was very stinky. Something in there smells awful. Like butt mixed with mold and a good smelling scent trying to cover up the smell. If you think about the smell as you eat you'll puke.

This place was so crowded, and so when we pulled up, we were so excited. Surely, a place with a crowd is gonna be tasty. No. Mediocre at best. Servers waited until we were almost done eating to refill our drinks.

our waitress with orange blondish hair and glasses was so rude , she forced us to pay as if she was kicking us out , and mind you there’s still like three hours until they close and on top of that.. once we paid the amount we had to pay , i was gonna leave the tip on the table but she started enforcing to my partner who only paid the total , by telling him that he HAS to pay one of the tip percentages as if it’s not optional ( and it’s just TWO of use btw) , me and my partner still wanted to get ice cream because we weren’t even done eating to begin with since she was hurrying us up out of there , so we said we’ll leave it at the table because we were actually going to😭…and when my bf got up she quickly stopped him and asking if he was leaving already because she saw that we didn’t put the money on the table yet.. and when he said no he was gonna get food she just stood beside the table in front of me while i was still sitting there so i wouldn’t get up without leaving her tip , just waiting for him to come back ?!? at that point i got up and we just left and didn’t tip her anything at that point because what is that attitude? now you don’t get shit bruh😭 she just lost her own tip with that weird behavior of hers

it was my sons birthday and I had barely had money . They charged us wrong and made us pay an extra 100+ this is unacceptable now my son won’t be enjoying his birthday . My son told me If we could go get an action figure and he cannot because of this mistake … unacceptable. DO NOT COME EAT HERE and check to see if they payed you right or scammed you .

This place is typical Chinese buffet. Food quality is way below quality. Sometimes the food is rushed and a couple of people in my party have gotten sick from it. Out last visit is prob our last - 4 people in our party and all 4 got sick from separate things. The mussell's and octopus isnt cooked all the way.

I feel so disrespected! burnt chicken! you can smell the burn soon as you open the container, my eyes were in disbelief & my heart just dropped! I had to stare at it for a minute to let it set in (CAN'T EVEN EAT IT)! it looks like the chicken pieces that be left in the grease at the bottom of the pan! the House Fried Rice taste like cardboard like it came out a frozen bag, ABSOLUTELY NO FLAVOR! it's just white rice (LOOK AT THE PICTURES!) we asked for sweet & sour sauce for our crab lagoon was told they didn't have any... WHAT?! asked for soy sauce told it was in the bag, got home not even one package of soy sauce, drove 15 mins in traffic for dinner & they gave us garbage 🤬 I WANT MY MONEY BACK! IS IT BECAUSE WE'RE BLACK!? 🤔 ain't no way you guys thought this was ok to serve to someone! they literally gave us food a dog wouldn't eat! I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. As soon as I walked into King Buffet in Dallas, I was hit with a nauseating smell — like greasy old food mixed with dirty mop water. The floors were sticky and dark, the bathroom stench was drifting into the dining area, and flies were buzzing around the buffet. This was my first time at the Dallas location, and I usually go to the one in Plano. The difference was shocking — the food here tasted completely different, and not in a good way. The meat wasn’t fresh at all, like it had been frozen forever, and everything had a weird texture. On top of that, the place was filthy. Worst of all, I started feeling sick shortly after I got home. My stomach was upset, and I ended up vomiting. I won’t be coming back.

The food was fine, but the staff was incredibly rude. They have absolutely no manners and then they talk about you in front of your face and think you don’t understand them.

I have never had a disgusting experience at a restaurant like I did with this one. Got my plate and took 2 bites and to my surprise there was a full grown cockroach on my plate. When I told one of the servers she disappeared to the back and didn’t acknowledge it, had to call another server to show her what was on my plate and her excuse was that they had just had pest control done the night before. Never coming here again, double check your food before taking a bite if you decide to eat here.

The food was actually good but the service was so awful my husband and I would not go back and definitely would not recommend this place. The staff constantly hovers over the table and starts talking about you while pointing at you through glass like you can’t see them. The waitress dropped the check as soon as we sat down with dessert. She then proceeded to stand over our table and stare at us until we paid. The food itself was delicious, but the customer service was so bad that the waitress got upset because we couldn't tip her on the receipt when we paid by card. We were going to tip her in cash, but when we saw her attitude and how demanding she was, we decided not to leave her anything.

I took myself on a solo meal for lunch and I regretted it immediately. Some of the food was good, some was really old but packed with fresh food on top. I could’ve made my peace with that as most buffets are like that, what I couldn’t stand was the smell. God it smelled awful in there, I basically had my nose in my drink trying to just eat without it hitting me. The outside smells awful, the inside smells worse.

This is our usual Chinese food spot and needless to say, we will not be coming back and advise others to stay away! We had just gotten there and had barely just ordered our drinks when My husband and son went to get their first plate of food. Upon coming back, I saw something on their plate and couldn’t believe it. A tiny roach was on their lo mein noodles with onions. We left immediately and they tried denying that it was a bug. Which made it worse. My husband is the most devastated since he loved this place.
