Opiniones de Malai Kitchen Dallas
I’ve been to the Southlake location but first time at this location. From the friendliness of the host , unfortunately I didn’t get his name but he was from GA, to Leo our server, the entire time spent here was excellent. Leo was helpful in offering selections and ensuring we had a great experience! Make sure to ask for Leo when you go! The crab dip with shrimp chips is delicious! It’s located in the West Village so parking can be a challenge especially during busy times but there is a parking garage.
Great outdoor patio area for us with our dog, Muad'Dib, on our weekend trip to Dallas. Sarah K. was the best, most friendly, and knowledgeable server we have ever had at any establishment anywhere. She was perfect for our indecisive and adventurous appetites. Highly recommend stopping in, whether for a meal or just happy hour drinks and snacks. Great place for an afternoon social.
Great weather today, decided to grab a snack and drink after some shopping. Staff were so friendly and service was 10/10. Their food I tried was soooo good. And the bar tender actually made my martini perfectly , made my day
I recently visited Malai Kitchen restaurant in Dallas and it was absolutely amazing experience! All staff are very nice and attentive. I would love to say a Special BIG THANK YOU to the server ETHAN! He was the best! He was very friendly, professional, nice and kind. Manager Melony was wonderful and very kind and friendly! Food was amazing, very very very delicious. Atmosphere was fantastic! Restaurant is very beautiful and has a modern style. I can’t wait to go back there! I definitely recommend Malai Kitchen! 10/10!!!
We had a fantastic meal at Malai Kitchen! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting, with a modern, clean design that still kept an authentic Thai charm. The food was outstanding, fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and beautifully presented dishes. Each plate had the perfect balance of spice, aroma, and richness that Thai cuisine is known for. The service was just as great. It’s clear they take pride in both the food and the guest experience. Overall, Malai Kitchen delivered an exceptional dining experience. Whether you're craving Thai classics or something a little more unique, this place is absolutely worth the visit.
I had the shrimp Pad Thai and the pork dish over rice. The shrimp were big and the portion was generous, and the Pad Thai had a really nice balance of sweet, salty, and tangy flavors. The staff were super friendly, and the whole experience felt welcoming. I’ll definitely come back.
While visiting Dallas I had fiber at this restaurant. Idid not gave to wait. I was a solo, makes things easier. The service was excelent, hosts were very nice. I ordered a sample locally brew beer. It liked it. As an appetizer i ordered tuna spring rolls which i liked. For the main dish I had Atlantic cod semi spicy. It was spicy, It made sweat :-), but it was tasty. The vegetable and rice balanced the spicy. I would definitively consider this place next time I am in Sallas.
I’m leaving this at a 5 because this has been one of my favorite places to eat. Recently I felt a shift in how oily the food has become - my pad see iew and tofu were completely drenched in oil and it’s putting me off from returning to one of my favorite places. If something changed in the kitchen, please switch back!
It was mine and my husband's first time visiting Malai. We had never had Thai food. Everything was absolutely perfect! Our server, Tim, was the best server I think I've ever had! He knew we were new to the whole experience and he took a lot of time to explain the experience, answer all of our questions, made excellent recommendations, and was very attentive to all of our needs! I will definitely be returning and telling my friends & family about this place! If you are on the fence about trying something new, definitely give Malai a try! And ask for Tim! You won't be disappointed!
Delicious Asian fusion dishes! We tried the Malai favorites sampler - which was surprisingly tasty for every item on the dish, especially the chicken satay! Our table tried the chicken pad Thai, pad see ew, pineapple fried rice, and panang curry bowl. Everything was great and the spice level was moderate for our group. Their drink menu was also fun to try including the sugar cane juice and ginger refresher! This location is inside a shopping area and it may be difficult to finding parking. We ended up doing street parking and walking a bit to the restaurant. Thankfully no wait for us and the staff was very kind and patient with our large group, offering fan favorites and recommendations.
Ordered the drunken noodles which were delicious, the appetizer sampler which I probably wouldn't order a second time, but was nice to try, and lastly the mango coconut sticky rice dessert which was amazing. Service was great, and I would definitely come back. There is free parking close the restaurant
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The food was absolutely amazing—full of flavor and beautifully prepared. Our bartender, DJ, went above and beyond to help us with the menu and gave great recommendations. He was extremely friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. Highly recommend both the food and the service!
Very authentic. The Coconut Soup is the closest dish to Tom Yum Soup. It's quite sour, and goes really well with rice. Then we ordered Pad Thai. Also, the Vietnamese Pho and curry lamb we had were all very delicious. Only the Pad Thai was a bit too salty; everything else was great. The serving was a bit slow, but the restaurant environment was nice.
It was our first time dining at Malai Kitchen and we were very pleased with the experience. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were generous. Staff members were kind and attentive – shoutout to our waitress Vy who made our first time dining here great. We ordered the Malai Favorites Sampler, Thai Chicken Wings, North Atlantic Artic Char, Drunken Noodles and the Beef Tenderloin Panang Curry Bowl. For dessert, we had Tiramisu (we were told it’s a limited time/specialty dessert item). We came hungry and Malai Kitchen did not disappoint. Beyond the food, the restaurant is cute with a warm, cozy environment – perfect place for date night or family dinner. Definitely one of the best places of its kind in the area – we will be returning!
I recently visited Malai Kitchen in Dallas with a friend, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, especially if you love spicy flavors — just ask for extra spicy if that's your preference! One standout was their refreshing sugarcane juice; I highly recommend trying it, as the flavor is truly delightful. We enjoyed all the dishes we ordered and found everything to be flavorful and well-prepared. The atmosphere is nice for hanging out with friends, and they also have a good selection of drinks to complement your meal. The only challenge is parking around the restaurant, so plan accordingly. Overall, a great spot for flavorful food and good company!

Great food and great price. We loved everything we ate! I’ve spent a lot of time in SE Asia and was impressed by how well it was done here. Recommend
An interesting menu, tasty food and solid service combine for an excellent dining experience. prices are a touch high but given the food and service quality, it's warranted.

This place has a great atmosphere and the manager was very friendly and helpful. The food was very good. Only negative was the wait staff forgot to bring us two different things that we ordered during our meal. But it could have just been an off night or new wait staff, and we definitely would go back here if we lived in the area. It's located in a really neat shopping center with plenty of parking behind it
I had bookmarked Malai Kitchen and was thrilled to finally dine there. The restaurant was bustling that evening, but we were seated right away upon arrival. The service was exceptional from start to finish. They offer a full bar with a solid selection of beer, wine, sake, spirits, and cocktails. I enjoyed their house IPA and highly recommend it. We were served complimentary sticky rice with sauce while we decided on our starter and main course. The shrimp spring rolls made for a tasty appetizer, and the Bangkok Street Fried Rice and Glass Noodles were outstanding entrees. The flavors were vibrant, and the spice levels were perfectly tailored to our request. The restaurant’s ambiance is warm and modern. Parking is available at the mall or on the street. Pricing: Moderately high, but well worth it for the quality.
The food was great. I very much enjoyed my fish. Next time I'll order spicy since I ordered medium spice and there wasn't any heat on it whatsoever. We also tried pretty much every appetizer there was and they were all yummy. We were a large group and the service was stellar. They took excellent care of us. My only complaint is that the patio, although air conditioned with fans, it was a little bit too hot. Granted it was a 106° day...... I'm not a hot natured person. I'm usually cold but I was uncomfortably warm.
Got the shrimp curry for brunch on a cold morning and it was delicious. Had a lot of shrimp and Greta flavor. I got spicy level 3 out of 5 which was good but not too much. Could have probably gone up…

I got the green chicken curry, pad thai, and the papaya salad . I loved the curry the most as it was very flavorful and delicious!

We went here Friday, January 2, at 9 pm, and all five items were disappointing: 1. The free sticky rice was fun, but the dipping sauce tasted bad, and was not a delicious peanut sauce. 2. Papaya salad with bacon lacked any papaya taste. 3. Lemongrass soup - this was the first time in 30 years of loving this soup at other places that I did not like it. 4. Drunken Noodles - these were maybe 24-inches long, and narrow noodles, which made them hard to eat. The beef was small cuts. I love this at Noodle Wave but did not like it here. 5. Pineapple Fried Rice - I have always love this until this time. It had no taste. I love Thai food, having it first in Thailand in 1995, and having it many times a year since, and always loved all of these dishes every place I had them. I get no pleasure from writing this, but was truly surprised that they could score zero-for-5.
First time visit this restaurant several weeks ago with coworkers for birthday celebration. The atmosphere, the environment and the servers are great and amazing. However, the foods were not authentic or good. I had their Thursday lunch special and it tasted differently, even though it was a curry noddle soup, I could barely taste any curry or anything that could stand out. I was quite disappointed. I chatted with my other coworkers and they said their dishes of pad Thai, fried rice and others were okay, not that’s great. Since two of my coworkers had their birthday, the server was amazing to bring out the ice cream and I had to say that was the best things we had that day. Foods were not as great, but service and the atmosphere was outstanding.
How can this place ever get a good review? Awful food - verging on inedible, rude staff. Avoid- the worst place I have ever been to in Dallas.
