Neon Kitten is a gorgeous stop on your nightly rounds in Deep Ellum. I loved everything we were able to sample on our trip, the bar staff, wait staff and manager are sure to make your visit feel like you're part of the family.

DELICIOUS!! Atmosphere was so fun and hype, and the food even impressed my very hard to impress brother in law who couldn’t stop raving about everything. Cocktails were delicious too. The service at first was odd and slow, but then the owner Bob came and took care of us and it was only up from there. His suggestions were great and we loved talking to him. I love how they cheer everyone on as they walk in. Would definitely come back!!

This is a top ten establishment in dfw! I swear I've live in many places. I've visited NY city, Chicago, DC, Miami, Orlando, Belgium, and this would be my top 10. It's a vibe. The anime friendly environment. The owner is a gem. The staff...chefs kiss. The food is under priced for the quality and authenticity..hats off to the chef...best bar...

Genuinely enjoyed this spot. Their cocktails and appetizers were very creative and a hit. we also really enjoyed the staff.

We had an awesome time the Bar Staff was great and the dumplings were delicious. We had the pumpkin, shrimp and siu mai.

Went with some friends and they accidentally overbooked but this ended us up in the back speak-easy part of the bar and I’m glad! The bar tenders were phenomenal! They were very attentive and creative with their drinks which were really good. Unlike the front of the bar, there was no menu, which made the experience that much more exciting. The food was also delicious and aesthetically appealing! Despite the hiccup with getting us a table, they were able to remedy the situation with a quickness and professionalism. Great customer service 👍🏻

Very cool spot. Arcade games take cash and card with a decent selection of games to play. The drinks were a bit expensive for the area but worth it for the location. When I was there on the weekend, they had a dj, and the vibe was great. They also have consoles behind the bar you can play on the screens behind the bar but i think that's only for earlier in the night to keep things moving at the bar. Fun game themed cocktails. Bartenders were all very nice, and the service was good. Never had to wait long for a drink even with a packed house

This is a fun spot if you want to hang out and drink with friends and play some games! They had "water pong" set up and there's a bunch of arcade games. We went on a Friday night and they had a live DJ playing who was decent, and there's a dancefloor for those that want to kick it up a notch. They had some fruity drinks in small fish bowls which were delicious. It gets very loud. We had a really good night!

Not a ton of game selection here, but the ones they have our fun. All the machines accept credit card, at a minimum $4. Be careful, as it becomes really easy to swipe in the thick of beating a game. I spent way more than I wanted to, but that's because it was so easy. No food or drink is allowed from outside, but there was a place where we could set them aside while we were playing, and pick them back up on our way out.

Nice and fun crowd, bartenders are nice and quick at pouring drinks. I love the selection of games and they even loan out controllers to play Super Nintendo, PS4 on the screens above the bar. The DJ on Sunday night was also very good as well! All in all I would come back to hangout and play some more

We got really lucky eating here Sunday evening. There was no wait at all. In fact, the place was empty. Usually I'd take that as a bad sign, however, the food and service was great. My favorite was the morel shrimp dumplings and salmon sushi. Delicious!! Service was great and friendly. It was good, but I doubt I'll come for a second visit since there was only 2 memorable food items for me; but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try it.

Parking is a beast in the area although the parking lot wasn't too far a walk. We actually passed the restaurant since there wasn't a sign. When you walk in you're greeted by all the customers and staff members so forget about shying away, there's no time. We had outdoor seating but it was rather cozy and great for hanging out especially if your party is a little louder. We ordered their infamous cocktail served in a Hello Kitty. So cute, we got our IG worthy photos and Snaps for days. Servers were nice. We ordered a little bit of everything. The cocktails were definitely the main attraction and food was for eating during or after a few drinks.

Neon Kitten’s presentation is on point! Their staff gave us a warm welcome and were super friendly. The dim-sum has a nice twist to it and their beef tataki is delicious, but their drinks and sushi were just ok. The problem was their ventilation system was awful - by the end of the night we were choking from the smoke from their grill (to be fair, I have asthma, so that’s probably why it affected me so much). Not sure if they were having an issue with their ventilation system or if it’s always like that. I would recommend checking them out, but if you have asthma you might want to sit in their outdoor patio area.

Fun gaming bar. Located in Deep Ellum. It wasn't incredibly busy. The game selection isn't huge, but it's worth going in and killing 30 minutes or so. The games take cards, coins, or bills.

This bar was pretty cool and had some good games. The games are expensive however and the music was pretty loud as well. The drinks were good and they had some pretty creative ones to go with the theme they had going on. The staff was friendly and they had this weird thing of serving shots in a balloon. I wpild go back to this place. Pretty chill and not to hi maintenance.

New bar in the Deep Ellum scene that is reminiscent of “The Pharmacy” before it. They have a small selection of arcade games that are more for design rather then practicality. Drink are well done, and it the staff was eager to meet new people. Select Start has a long way to go, but they are definitely off to the right “start.”

I celebrated my birthday here and it was fantastic! The staff was patient and have great suggestions on what to order. My friend ordered the peanut butter special and I had the brownie creation... Both were amazing!

Went for their Valentines day event and the music was extremely loud; to the point we had to yell to talk. The food was good but I not the best compared to other locations. The drinks were strong and would definitely recommend as a drinking spot if the drinks weren’t so expensive. The steak was my favorite part of the food.

Really cool vibe there but the games were expensive. All the drinks had really cool names and all sounded great. I tried the Triforce and the Mega Man and they both tasted good. Also tried the Mist shot which was really cool. (Never even heard of anything like that.) It's fairly small in there so not too many games to play but the selection of games they had was pretty ok. Not sure if I'd go back but it was pretty cool to check out once.

Place is horrible. charged my card 6 times for 3 games. The game payment system showed offline but still my card was charged. $5 for 1 play. When the display showed $1 per gam. played 3 different games and my card was charged $5 for each transaction. Horrible.

I had a disappointing experience at this establishment. While the manager was professional and deserves recognition, the bartenders and bouncers exhibited unprofessional behavior very RUDE. Bad reviews are inevitable, as not every experience will be positive. I also found the response to my girls friends previous review to be rude and unprofessional . Additionally, I felt uncomfortable when the DJ sought out my girlfriend on social media to comment on her pictures in regards to her review ; this felt like harassment and is certainly unprofessional. I hope the management can address these issues and improve. DO BETTER!

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent experience at your establishment this past weekend. My family and I traveled from Austin, anticipating a relaxing and enjoyable visit. However, we witnessed an incident involving a bartender who inappropriately threw a drink at a patron. This unprofessional behavior created an unpleasant and uncomfortable atmosphere, significantly detracting from our experience. Given the level of service we observed, I believe it is important to bring this matter to your attention. We were deeply disturbed by the incident and felt it was far below the standard of conduct expected in a hospitality setting. Consequently, I do not plan to return to your establishment in the future.

The blonde bartender was incredibly rude; she threw a drink in my friend's face and a salt shaker that cut her nose and busted her lip with glass. This outburst occurred because she disagreed with how we handed her the payment which was a normal transaction. Despite our complaints, we were asked to leave, and she faced no consequences for her actions. The bouncers were also very aggressive without understanding the situation. Overall, it was a terrible experience with customer service.

The drinks were medicore, games were overpriced and lacked variety, ontop of getting slapped with an automatic 20% gratuity for 3 people at 9pm. Do not patronize. Let the space return to its roots as a pop up boutique.
