Great place for burrito or salad bowl. Their food are a bit pricey but delicious and tasty. They have a lot of meat and seafood options for your tacos or burritos or bowl and you can customize them too. This place gets pretty full during dinner time so expect a bit of wait. But don't worry people dine and go fast too. They only have 5 or 6 dining tables but you can always go to their bar/restaurant combo beside it so you can order a cerbeza or any alcohol along side with your tacos.

I've never had anything that I did not like here. I usually have the shrimp bowl hut since it was a Tuesady, I decided to eat some tacos. I got the Manolargos Taco and the Smoked Tuna taco. My favorite was the Manolargos Taco, fried octopus and birria were beyond good!!! Smoked Tuna was good too but there wasn't much Tuna. I love me some Lupes. Both Dana and Aliso location are great!

Man!!! After reading so many great reviews we just HAD TO TRY them out!! 100% NOT DISAPPOINTED. Though the cashier seemed rather nonplussed to take our Dine In Order, the Price was Nice and the food was on our table in less than 3 minutes from paying. Talk about FAST SERVICE!! I tried the FAMOUS ON DANA POINT Burrito, as both a Local's Recommendation AND STAFF PICK. Amazing. Like having Steak and Fries in a Burrito, with all of the wonderful fixings one would expect; including a delightful Aioli Sauce. Mmm, mmm, mmmmmm...🤤🤤🤤 She *(my gf) had the Veggie Supreme, which was EXCELLENT, in her words. The Fresh Flan was tasty and creamy and a nice touch after the belly-filling and Satisfying Meal. Can't wait to come back again and try more incredible Menu items like the Surf n Turf Burrito!!!

OMG, such an amazing find in the heart of Dana Point village. On top of the amazing burrito and octopus tacos, we got 5 cocktails (in jars) for $40. The margaritas were perfect - not too sweet with the perfect amount of booze! Definitely try the Tamarind and Jalapeno margs. The guac was also really fresh and quite tasty. This will for sure be our go to mexican spot when we are back in town.

I came in on a Sunday evening and the place was packed. I ordered a veggie supreme burrito and it came out pretty quickly considering how busy it was. The place was a little messy and the salsa bar was kinda ravaged. I had to eat the burrito in the parking lot because there was nowhere to sit. The burrito was pretty large and tasty. Over all the food was good but it's maybe better to order it on your way for pick up.

Interesting place, on one side is a bar and full service restaurant and the other side is more like take out with a few tables. I would have preferred the full service, but it was so loud with 10 TV's all blaring a football game, that I couldn't hear myself think, so chose the take out side, which was stand up to order and plastic utensils. The food was great, but still not an enjoyable place to sit and chat with a friend over a meal.

Food was good, like very good. Only reason why I give 4 stars for service is because it's been a couple times now that they get my order wrong despite double checking with them. Pretty sure this is an issue at the register because when I ask for chicken only instead of say steak and shrimp I see on the little square terminal it says no shrimp and add grilled chicken. I asked if there was no steak as well and they nod yes despite it being wrong. Saved them though that the steak was still good 😋. Atmosphere was nice but a little loud. The bar side is a much more chill environment.

Nice little Mexican restaurant in Dana Point, California. It’s a fast food kinda place…you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Lots of to go orders while I was there. Burrito was hot, fresh, large and delicious. Salsa bar in the back of the dining area. Didn’t know this until my food was almost gone. Wish they would’ve told me when I ordered. Salsa was fantastic! Busy parking lot with free parking.

It's OK, but it's not real Mexican food. A bit overpriced, and the woman taking orders has a definite chip on her shoulder and was not pleasant at all.

I’m a regular n I’ve been going since they opened. Great food n generally good service We eat at casual side as well as the restaurant side next door. My latest experience was DISAPPOINTING When I said we were dining in I was told to go next door as the casual side was “for take out”. My daughter n I felt we weren’t given an option but DIRECTED to go to Barria the restaurant portion n felt it was rude n poor customer service. When I complained to the female manger she said they encourage everyone to go next door. I understand that idea but we didn’t want to go there this time and the casual side was NOT BUSY. A suggestion, some information, okay but we were dismissed n told to go next door. I was stunned as we go almost weekly when here- we live up the hill one mile away. I hope the owners managers re train staff to politely instruct or suggest THE OPTION of dinning very casual or next door - less so. This is a new situation and I felt dismissed. Interestingly, the customer the manager waited on as I waited for TAKE OUT food, dinned in casual site at a table n was not told to go next door. Please be more welcoming

I have tried just about everything on their menu and have not been disappointed once. Burritos, nachos, fries, tacos, all great. The staff is great. Nice enough and quick to bring the food out. I usually get everything to go but the bar looks sick and nice little place to grab a drink without have to be at a fully sit down restaurant. Like all the locations everything is great other than the fact that the last time I went to grab a pick up order a mistake was made. Made the pick for the wrong location. I immediately called this location as I ordered for the AV location. They were unable to refund my money since everything is done through Toast. I called Toast, they said to go to the restaurant. Restaurant said I have to call toast. Basically no one had no idea how to fix anything and I lost my $20ish. Basically I will never use Toast again since they suck. The restaurant can't figuring it out is pretty bad as well but since the food is great I won't give it any lower rating.

This place has disappointed me so many times. Local people love it so maybe it’s just me. My grilled chicken burrito was only chicken and rice, no onions, cilantro, or guacamole. It was really dry. My son’s rolled tacos also did not come with the guacamole that it was supposed to. This is not the first time this has happened. I think I’m done.

We eat at Lupe's a lot. We really love their food, but the customer service is so poor. We are a busy family of 6 and when I pick it up I asked for the cups of salsa and the girls will sit on their phones scrolling and tell the customer who just spent $140 at their establishment to fill up their own salsa cups. I just think it’s poor Customer service. Their delivery partners won't fill up the cups of salsa either, so we have to pick it up ourselves. They should really make it easier for people who are doing takeout especially if they have associates standing around

The good is pretty but nearly paying $20 for a burrito is not ideal. Especially when they’re putting less protein. I wanted a small side of fries, but I had to pay $7 for them, and the to go container is barely covering the bottom part. (No fries were eaten before this picture). Find yourself something more authentic and cheaper

I used to go here when they first opened up and the quality in food and service was always great. There were 3 front of house staff members standing around when I walked in and it took them a few minutes before realizing I was at the register (which, if you’re unaware, is clear-as-day as you walk in). Now I pay $17 for a California-style burrito which is nothing but fries, and barely any meat. This place is not what it used to be, absolute sell-outs and taking advantage of customers.
