Opiniones de Burma Eat Davis
We had a great meal at My Burma, with excellent service from our server, Heaven, who was friendly and attentive throughout. We ordered a generous spread — papaya salad, salt and pepper chicken, lemongrass chicken, garlic pork, Burmese-style pad Thai with tofu, and an eggplant curry we ended up taking home since there was too much to finish. Everything was flavorful and well-prepared, and the overall experience was relaxed and enjoyable. My Burma is a solid choice for anyone wanting to explore Burmese cuisine in a welcoming setting.
My family and I came to My Burma after church for Father’s Day lunch. When we walked in just before 12pm, there were no customers, so were greeted and seated right away. Our server promptly came over with the menus, take our drink orders and greeted me, “Happy Father’s Day”. Soon after our order was taken, the restaurant got busier and busier. They have a decent of amount of both indoor and outdoor seating. They were prepared and was staffed well. There was no hiccups in service and our food came out quickly. Food (5 stars): - Tea Leaf Salad: had lots of textures between the crunch of the salad, seeds, peanuts, crunchy garlic, etc. The fermented tea leaf dressing was delicious with a little saltiness, oils and maybe a hint of vinegar. - Mango Chicken: nice mango flavor with strips of mango. - Sesame Beef: good flavors, not overly salty or sweet like at other restaurants. - Burmese Eggplant Curry: thick and saucy, light curry flavor that is not overpowering, think cuts of eggplant, tasty over rice - Burmese Style Pad Thai: we got it with tofu, you can choose with chicken (+$1) or shrimp (+$2). Very similar to flavors to traditional Pad Thai at a Thai restaurant, maybe slightly drier. Service (5+ stars): I need to give our server (Heaven W.) props for excellent service! Not only did she come around frequently (even as the restaurant got busy) to check on us, she asked to refill our waters without us asking and even made an attempt for some small talk such as asking if were from Davis or out of town and asking what we were planning on doing after our meal. She did a great job serving all the other tables both inside and outside. It’s been a while since I’ve encountered this level of service. Thank you Heaven W. for the “heavenly” service! If the owners are reading this review, she is a keeper! All the employees looked like they enjoy working there and working with each other. We will definitely return for more of their delicious food and hopefully more great service.
I’ve never had Burmese food before and this was a wonderful introduction! We loved the garlic broccoli, garlic noodles, and the pumpkin curry especially! The Burmese tofu was so unique and I loved the texture.
This was my first time trying My Burma out for dinner with my family. The food was excellent! We loved everything we ordered. The atmosphere is nice and you will get great service. Good for families or date night. Will definitely be back! We had the pineapple fried rice, lemongrass chicken, and garlic chili shrimp.
Great for sharing! My Burma is my go to spot for group dinners. Friendly staff, shareable platters, and great cocktails. Everyone always leaves happy and with a good experience to look back on. My favorite dish is the Green Tea Leaf salad, but what I look forward to most are their desserts. Fried to perfection. The soft and flaky pratha is not too sweet, and pairs perfectly with their ice cream. Likewise with the fried bananas. You cannot go wrong with these desserts!
Wow! This was a treat. We walked in when it was pretty early in the day, we had our choice of inside or outside tables - it was quiet! The staff were wonderful, introduced themselves made us feel like they were welcoming us to dinner at there own house! We ended up order far more food that we could need purely because we were so curious about the different options! It was served family style so we shared and enjoyed sumosa, mango tofu, pumpkin curry and the garlic eggplant. The problem is they were all so good I wouldn’t be able decide which to order next time!!!! And there’s still so many things I want to try! - What a good problem to have! The manager came out and chatted with us at the table and told us how much he’s loving Davis and the people in it! Overall the food was beautiful, the staff wonderful and the pricing extremely fair. I also felt great after - a lot of restaurant foods leave me with that bloated icky overfull feeling. I left Burma feeling great!
One of the best Burmese food and definitely one of the most popular spots in Davis. Having been here more than once, service has always been great. Mari served us and was very good. Enjoyed Tea leaf salad, Samusa, Pumpkin curry, Noodles and Fried rice. Prices are a bit expensive. But then portions are huge. If you are two people, each item can serve 4 people so be aware of how much you order.
Got Warm welcome for Group of 8 peoples for Dinner. Seats are available even in the busy night. Foods are ok I guess because we are trying Burmese Cuisine for the first time. Service is quite empressive with in comfort zone. Host and Service Persons are nice and friendly even cute. I saw a some bar and open kitchen that we can see from our seats. I believe this is the best place to hangout with frienda and family dinner, birthday celebration and any other occasions. We all families are vegetarian, So there are some of the choices and even Vegan too. Service was smooth and no longer time to wait. Prices are competative, Location is also perfect, in the heart of Davis, CA. I will highly recommended.
Great experience at My Burma. Only had to wait 3 minutes to be seated on a Saturday dinner. Drinks were a bit mellow (low alcohol) for the "golden pot", but the long island made up for it. The peppered beef was absolutely delicious and I'd really recommend it with the coconut rice.
Every bite was a wonderful balance of spices and textures, making it a memorable dish. The combination of the zesty lemon and smoky paprika came together beautifully, creating a taste sensation that left me wanting more. If you're looking for a flavourful dish that packs a punch, I highly recommend giving this one a try!

We love the food here and its eclectic menu. Usually order the chicken/potato dish with delicious sauce and the dry curry shrimp. The coconut rice is a wonderful addition also. Brianna & Heaven are the best staff and knowledgeable about the dishes. Friendly & experienced too. It’s definitely a cut above other Davis student-oriented restaurants.
Our first times... My Burma, Burmese food. Just stopped on a whim passing through town. Four of us chose a combination of 10 appetizers, noodles, veggies, and soups. All were excellent for our combined tastes across a spectrum of spice preferences. The veggies were fresh and meat tender. Well prepared. Being a college town on a Friday night the place was packed with college students which is a testament to being price and people friendly. ... albetit a bit noisy for casual conversation.
Flavor, portion size, price and service were of the highest standards. My daughter — a UC Davis junior, my wife and I — were there Tuesday around 1 pm on February 10, 2026 and we were served by this young lady who demonstrated impeccable customer service. She was attentive, patient, organized, well-informed, articulate and most pleasant. Could not have asked for a better experience. Will definitely revisit in the future. Kudos to the chef!

Delicious food with thai, chinese and Indian combined. Beef salad and chili swai are my favorites! I learned that Burmese tea is different from thai tea. I wish thai iced tea is on the menu! Expect to spend at around $40 each for family style dinner with appetizers , dinners and non-alcoholic beverages.
Tried My Burma in Davis and had an overall good dining experience. The food has a flavor profile similar to Thai cuisine, with a one standout dishes. • Parata: This was the weakest item we tried. If you’re expecting a traditional Desi-style paratha, this one won’t match up — more doughy and less flaky. I’d rate it 2/5. • Noodles (for the kids): Solid and satisfying, but nothing particularly memorable. A safe option. •. Pineapple friend rice: was just ok. Can’t compare to a Thai friend rice. Hard to describe, taste like yellow curry friend rice. I’d rate it 2/5 • Sesame Chicken: The star of the meal. Perfectly cooked, the chicken was tender and flavorful with a great balance of sweetness and savory notes. I’d give this a strong 5/5. Service was excellent, the place had a nice vibe, and the location is convenient. I’d definitely go back to explore more of the menu.
Atmosphere is very nice, with outdoor seating available. Burmese curried vegetables were good, but the mildest curry we have ever tasted. Sesame chicken was tasty, but again very mildly seasoned.
The service here is outstanding. Our waiter went out of the way to ensure we got what we wanted. And endlessly topping our tea pot with warm water for the cold weather. The food here is what you expect from a Burmese restaurant. The fiery tofu was good spicy for the weather. Pad Thai was a bit sweet to my liking but I guess that is the dish. Being vegetarian, the only soup was samosa soup and it tasted good even though I would have liked something healthy. Overall, a great place to have good with family.
Great service, ok food. I've had much better Burmese elsewhere, but wow on the service - it was outstanding! The most disappointing dish was the garlic noodles. Unbelievably bland. They did serve a sweet chili sauce with the noodles, but then they just tasted like a cheater version of noodles in a bad pad thai sauce. Mint chicken was good, but not very minty nor spicy even at a 4/5 spice rating. The food overall though was very fresh, served super quickly (both a pro and a con), temperature hot, generous, and again, I can't emphasize this enough, the teamwork service was great.

yummy famous tealeaf salad. the fried calamari was puffy and nice with a good sweet and spicy dipping sauce. unfortunately the burma style pad thai was our least favorite dish bc it was too sweet and saucy. nice staff, fast service. nice ambiance. i would come back to try other dishes on the menu.
Had a nice lunch here with family. Tea Salad was different, I didn't care for the taste, although my family liked it. Egg noodles were too cooked. Chicken and string beans were delicious.
It is a decent clean restaurant. We went there on the way to Lake Tahoe after seeing it on Google map as we don’t have Burmese restaurant in Germany. As a person born in Burma, I missed the food and took the chance. Samosa and noodle salad were very nice. Also good tea leaf salad but Burmese pad Thai was disappointing obviously made with tomatoes ketchup.

I liked the food but over $90 for a family of 3? One of us only had an appetizer. Sure there has been a lot of inflation but charging extra for a small bowl of rice to go with the main dish reminds me of Vegas nickel and diming me. I don't see how students can afford this.
Surprisingly poor quality of vegetarian dishes we tried. The pad Thai and vegetable mix curry did not taste well and the samosa soup was just ordinary. Service was excellent and so was the ambience.
