This place has that Beach town vibe and here is why you will love it: 1. The food is great! But more impressively, this shop is a well oiled machine, because trust me when I say, this place was packed with people ordering lunch. Despite how busy it was they got our order no problem and it came out relatively fast. 2. Plenty of space to find a seat to eat, I think the hardest point of access was just finding parking. It was busy on new years day so I'm assuming there were more people than normal to be fair. 3. Awesome surf vibe. Spotted some Dragon and Rusty stickers that I have not seen in years. Also a dragonball sticker. Overall just a really cool place. Overall the Board and Brew in Del Mar was a perfect place to stop and get some food. I would definitely recommend if you need something fast and you are on the go. Check out my photos to get a sense of the space.

Fast and friendly service! It’s a cute spot for lunch in Del Mar with good sandwich options, though I can’t speak to GF options. I recommend the Turkado sandwich, plenty of flavor and the sourdough wraps it up nicely.

The sandwiches were spectacular! We had the Left Coast Pastrami and Baja Chicken. They were warm and so delicious! The jalapeños were the perfect kick! Top this with the house sauce…the meal was perfect.

I like that their prices include sales tax. Delicious, filling sandwiches that give a lot of bang for your buck—many are just $9-$10. Their sweet and sour sauce comes with all sandwiches but highly recommend asking for more because it is insanely good! Turkado is one of the best and they don’t skimp out on the avocado. This location gets busy and can be hard to find parking. I do like that this is the original shop!

This is the place you want to eat at. Hands down one of the best sandwich shops I’ve enjoyed. In fact it rivals my favorite hole in the wall shop in Hawaii. Prices are great and the food is even better. Best of all, they play great music and the staff is having a good time. You can tell they enjoy working there, lots of laughter when I was in. Go in, support a local small business and leave happy. Thanks for the great meal and service. I will be back!

Some may consider the prices to be a bit expensive however the sandwiches are quite large. Many people only eat half and take the rest home for another meal. They are open from 9am till 6pm so you can stop by for lunch early in the day or in time for a meal at dinner time. Also, they have an app which allows you to order ahead for a quick pick up inside the store. The staff is very attentive, energetic and entertaining also. Don't act surprised when paying if the cashier hints at tipping. There is a screen at the register to do so. Just choose at least 15% (there are higher options also) if all went well and the entire staff will be very appreciative! Some favourites are: Tom's choice is a Roast Beef, Turkey and Cheddar combo served on a baguette. Make sure to say yes when they ask if you want two servings of special sauce! You can even buy your own bottle (around 6 dollars) to take home for later use. A side order of potato salad also goes well with almost every sandwich here. The California Delight (pictured above) is also another great choice! Turkey, cream cheese and sunflower seeds and sprouts on squaw bread is an excellent combination! It usually only takes me a few minutes to finish the entire sandwich! If you're into roast beef try either the Baja Beef or the Beef Dip. Both are from the grill which means they are served warm and the Beef Dip even comes with hot au jus sauce in which you can dunk your sandwich. You can enjoy a beer here too as the name suggests and a soft drink also either in a can or cup. A cup costs two bucks and you can refill as much as you want. Don't forget the napkins since sometimes things can get messy!

Unreal! If you haven’t been before you are missing out. Their wraps are our off this world and you have to get their sauce! Our favorite locations are the Del Mar and Del Sur locations. I always get the Baja Wrap but I don’t think you could go wrong with anything on their menu. They are consistently good and once you go, you are bound to be hooked

This place has super delicious sandwiches. Daughter had the Tub o Tuna, Hubs had the beef dip, and I had the California Delight which was absolutely beyond amazing! Huge portions. Cozy place to eat in. Prices were reasonable too. Highly recommended.

In less than 10 minutes on a Saturday afternoon, I ordered and left with 2 signature Turkados and very good service. Because good service adds extra tastiness to everything. (And they have salt & vinegar chips here, which is a bonus to me)

Good sandwiches and nice people. Not enough searing and a cattle call to get your food that you can only hear if standing like sardines inside. That being said the wai ia worth it and we'll be back for sure.
