Wonderful experience!! Excellent food and splendid and courteous customer service. If your feeling like pizza....sure....if your feeling like mexican food....YOU GOT IT!!!....Even if your feeling like hamburgers....thats right....its yours....and even desert..I DEFINITELY WOULD DINE IN HERE AGAIN....THEY EVEN HAVE CALL IN ORDERS FOR TAKE OUT.....I recommend this home like feeling and country feel dining in anyday...with the windows open and feeling the natural cool breeze with the sun shining through was a wonderful happy experience....Thank you Gary.....hope to visit again real soon....

This place has been around long since I was a baby, it's a bit low-key so it's chill, and the burgers are really great definitely underrated, one of the best out there for sure.

Gary's Grill is a small place, but the food was excellent, and the staff was very friendly. Great place. I won't hesitate to eat here again when I am back in the area.

Wow service was beyond our expectations. food was better them perfect burger was melt in your mouth. It felt like we we're royalty. the cashier was one of a kind we were given free ice cream after our meals and offered a free refill on our drinks as we left the building. great family environment found our new spot. please if you can spend your money at Gary's I hope they stick around for ages to come.

My husband loves there enchilada plate here and so do I...The salsa and chips puts a nice beginning to a journey of great food....Staff is friendly and very respectful and welcoming. Mr.Gary is a nice man with great cooking skills and no need to feel unsafe around this man.

Husband and I have been coming here a long time. Gary runs a great little restaurant. It's convenient for us and nice to have a place to eat without going to Bastrop or Austin. Good service, food is good and reasonable. Very clean and staff friendly, courteous, and helpful.

Have known the owner and his family for years the food is always been good close to home customer service is always great Gary takes care of you he's got special menus every now and then his most recent gumbo special was excellent you can call in place your order show up and pick it up and be on your way the only thing is they do not accept credit cards as of yet you can order anything from a pizza cheeseburgers enchiladas Taco salads burritos french fries stop by grab a menu give them a call

I was trying to find a place to eat quick before a concert at the Circuit of the Americas. Unfortunately, once you're in the area, the options are very limited. After searching online for anything except tacos, Gary's Grill came up in the search results. Having little information or pictures about it, I decided to give it a try. It sneaks up on you when driving down Mesa, so watch out for it. It looks like it used to be a small office and it's very small inside. No air conditioning, and only a couple fans blowing in the dining area. There was only one other party in the restaurant, so the service was quick and friendly. There was absolutely no chicken anywhere on the menu. Since I didn't want tacos (otherwise I wouldn't have ended up here), the other options were a chicken fried steak sandwich, burgers, or a pizza. Being someone who almost never eats beef, this was quite disappointing. I mentally struggled and went with a cheeseburger and fries. As I pull out my credit card...I look over and see the sign that says "NO CREDIT CARDS - Cash and Check only". I can't remember the last time I was in a restaurant (or any business, for that matter) that didn't accept credit/debit. I let the very nice lady know I didn't have cash, and she still started my order and said the convenience store down the road had an ATM. Once I returned, the food was perfectly timed to be ready after I paid. The food itself was nothing to write home about. The burger had no seasoning on it, so it was probably just a frozen meat patty. The cheese wasn't melted all the way around, so the outer edges were still cold and the inner portions were melted. The bun looks as if it was put on the grill because it was a bit burnt in places. The fries, like the burger, had no seasoning on it...so some ketchup and pepper took care of that. In summary, this is a small, quiet, and clean restaurant with a friendly staff. They do not accept credit or debit cards. There are no chicken options on the menu, and no seasoning on the burgers or fries leads to a bland taste. It's a quick bite to eat if you're near the CotA, but don't go out of your way for it.
