The service is Awesome! I have to talk about the family that works so well together. First I want to thank Rebecca and her husband Ivan and the Megan. They are like family and I feel so loved when I come to Rusty. The general manager son is great. The whole staff are hard workers and you can't find that at every restaurant you go to. Even the cooks are like family and they clean this place like no other. All I can say is that everyone deserves a raise. The food is great and cooked to perfection. If you've never been to Rusty you need to take a visit to the restaurant. Trust me you will not be unhappy.

These guys were awesome! Didn't realize it but we walked in 15 minutes before they closed and ordered a bunch of tacos. They took care of us with a smile on their faces the whole time. The tacos were excellent and so was the salsa!

During a particularly busy time (the coffin races), rusty’s was the sanctuary me and my gf were looking for that provided air-conditioning, good food, and wonderful margaritas. Even though there was a long line, the staff helped us get our food in a relatively timely manner. Special thanks to the women outside in the margarita booth!! yall are the real ones 🤭‼️

I've handled a few deliveries through a 3rd party here. The employees seem on their game and are usually playful. Food smelled good enough for me to finally try, and I was not disappointed.

I've only been once but it was a 5 star experience. I ordered the brisket nachos that were absolutely mouth watering. The brisket seemed to be a quality cut. I also ordered tacos and realized I should have ordered more as although I don't regret the nacho purchase, tacos were way more spectacular.

I always get the #9 with pork and pineapple..so yummy! Their drinks and their guac are great, too.

This is a great place! The staff are always friendly and kind, if a little exhausted. The music can be just one notch above pleasantly loud at any time but if it's too much inside their patio is absolutely great! Well shaded and ventilated with more room to spread out comfortably. The food is a little greasy but a lot delicious and they have a great mix of simple breakfast tacos for simple diners and slightly more adventurous tacos for risk takers. 10/10 would recommend their queso, it's my favorite menu item!

If you haven't tried Rustys then you should! Margaritas are the best and even better during happy hour. My favorite it the grilled chicken nachos but every on the menu is good. The taco of the month for June is the Grilled chicken rolled tacos, so so good. My other favorite is the breakfast burrito, The Morning Meat‐up burrito, it's so freaking good. Staff is always friendly. There are a lot of choices I around the Denton Square but Rustys has me hooked as a regular now. Menu has just been updated but they are happy to make the classics if you ask.

This is me and my daughters first time ever eating here, Lillyan the cashier was very friendly and patient and helped us choose some good food . Food came out quick and the staff is so friendly. We took it to go and I will definitely be back!

Rusty's has $3 margaritas on Mondays. So, appreciate the absolute wonder this place is, for WHAT IT IS - FUN! Cheap margs, tasty snacks, and college folks as far as the eye can see. I was in Denton for 48 hours and came here twice! Louis went out of his way to help us out and absolutely embodied the, "if you're going to do something, do it well" mentality. Drink your drink and enjoy the gem you have in Rusty's!

The service and the food was excellent. My friend was visiting Denton and order something that wasn’t what she thought it was. The manager Zach James was so helpful and polite. The team made her something for her sensitive tastebuds. We will definitely be back again.

First time visiting. I had the steak Fajita tacos, my wife had the chicken Fajita tacos. We also ordered the tres grande and the beans and rice. The tacos were spot on. The tres grande was good. The salsa and the guac are awesome. Cilantro lime rice was perfect. Black beans were favorable, slightly salty for my taste.

It was my first visit, but my step daughter requested it for her birthday lunch. I was stoked to see vegetarian options! There were 4 of us dining and not a single complaint. The chips, salsa and queso were fresh and full of flavor. I had the cauliflower taco and the black bean taco and thoroughly enjoyed both very much! Both the grilled and fried shrimp tacos were also a hit. Will definitely be going back!!

What a great experience! The services was great, they got the orders done very quickly so it wasn't even had that there was a line at all. The store was clean. I liked the food a lot. It's just the right kind of spicy, I had to get another 2 tacos. I definitely recommend the rusty taco. Even though pineapple on a taco sounds weird, it's truly a tasty experience. The fried chicken taco is also very good.

We love Rusty Taco! They have a good variety of tacos to choose from including a couple of vegetarian options. We always get the chips and queso and they offer free chip refills while you're there. Plus, the margaritas are amazing! There's a great outside seating are that's covered, but very dog friendly so it's great for whatever season. Definitely a great spot to grab a bite to eat!

Was walking around the downtown area and saw this and decided to try it. We have never been here before, and told them that, and the sweet lady just smiled and said there were lots of choices. Not very helpful with the what’s good here question, so we went with the shrimp taco and brisket taco, drinks and chips and queso. All the food was delicious!! We spent $19 dollars on 4 tacos, 2 drinks and the chips. Not too terrible for 2 to eat. Would definitely eat here again.

The tacos were decent. I think a little over priced per taco, but tasted fine. I'd come back for the margaritas at happy hour for sure though. Good size and enough liquor for about $4 each depending on what kind you get. I'll definitely be back for happy hour again.

Staff were very nice, place was clean, and had great outdoor dining. (It’s like 49 degrees and the heaters are GREAT). Food was really solid chain tacos. The tortillas (no butter, undercooked but still safe) and chips (brittle) were the weakest part but still delicious. We tried the brisket nachos, queso & chips, brisket taco, and the rusty taco (pork).

We love the Rusty Taco! Every time we come up to Denton we end up here instead of trying somewhere new. The service is fast and friendly, and the food is delicious! We love their spicy queso! And even though we knew we didn't NEED a third taco each, we decided that we did! LOL We do wish that the dining area was a little better lit with more seating options. Lots of large tables, and not everyone wants to make new friends at dinner. Also, they could use another trash can or two. Meanwhile, I was too busy devouring my tacos to remember to take a photo of them!

Really creative taco menu, well-executed dishes. I was disappointed that there was only sweet tea available when I went, which was *way* too sweet. I assume they normally also have unsweetened tea. Be sure and check the tiny label. The smashed cheeseburger taco is just what the name states - and delicious.

The Birra taco was kinda bland, but the Baja grilled shrimp was amazing as always!

It was good, I forgot about the chips and queso which is really good. The taco are good but the meat was pre-cooked and left on the grill to stay warm, unfortunately that also dries out the meat. Other then that the price is reasonable and the environment is good. I would eat there again. I ate there again and the steak tacos I ate were fresh...youhave redeemed yourselves!

Good was Ok. Atmosphere and service was great. A little too much effort in trying to make the next best taco. Tacos are pretty simple, and if you keep them that way, they can be pretty amazing all on their own...no need to fluff up the flavor with all the added spices.

This place is completely overpriced and for their poor service and lack of listening I’m not a big fan. Also, their lunch tacos are actually gross. Their flavors are confusing and very gentrified or just don’t make sense. Really disappointing cause I even gave their Birria Tacos a try and it was 95% meat and then like 1% cheese with 4% grease. The outside was even extremely soft. I keep giving this place a try but I really can’t stand how much I have to clarify things. Also being charged for the eggs I’m not gonna be putting into my taco is obsurd. When I brought it to the cashiers attention she just said “okay…” so not happy.

Rusty used to be the place to come on the weekends! The music was awesome and such a good place to grab a drink and relax! But the music is gone and it is just sad that there is no more ambiance and rusty lost its spark. (food is still amazing tho))

Rusty tacos was ok.. nothing special . I got several tacos and they really were not that super great. I would only recommend this place if other places are packed.

Tacos were good, price was okay, and they gave us free chips and queso for it being our first time. The chips were out super fast but there was a good wait on the tacos (beef fajita pictured below) despite there not being a large crowd waiting. Otherwise a good place to get some good tacos.

Update: went a few months ago, and it was great! Felt like old Rusty's. Went again last week and it was TERRIBLE. They changed the taco menu, got rid of a lot of options, and drastically reduced the ingredient quality. The tacos were sooo bad. The margaritas and queso are still good. Used to love Rusty's, but the atmosphere, music, and service have changed. Not the fun, friendly place it used to be. Restaurant is still clean and menu is the same (although our tacos came out cold), but the experience isn't what it used to be.

This was an okay place to go for tacos. It reminds me of Fuzzy’s Tacos,it is a similar environment. It gets really busy on the weekends but besides that,the food is decent but not anything to brag about. I probably will return but not anytime soon,it didn’t leave any lasting impact . Customer service was okay,however I felt that the waiter was too preoccupied to pay attention to bigger crowds like I had.

I tried their chicken truffle taco. For the price that I was charged, I think it was totally unreasonable. The picture on the wall shows a very thick & meaty taco with truffle sauce. I received a very dry taco with hardly any meat and it was nearly $10 for thst one taco with no drink. So, I'm not sure what everybody else is saying that is so good about this location. I think they could do better on pricing and portion. Making sure that the food that we're given matches what you have pictured on the wall would be great as well. It would also be nice if the person who is actually giving out the orders can speak English so that when she calls out names for pick up, she knows who she's calling. I had to help her with that.

Wow this place to be called a “taco joint” is disgusting. Their “version” of street tacos is not what u get from a real place. First off, tacos prices are WAY overcharged for a single taco. I came in expecting at least some decent tacos but was horribly wrong. First their green salsa did not have any “kick” or bite to it, they barley give u a quarter of a quarter lime??? Per taco?! If ur a street taco lover u know u need extra limes and salsa, oh their chips and salsa is a joke as well, but the chips are okay it’s the tomato ketchup they call salsa I did not like! Not very authentic, taste more like it came out of a can. If u want real street tacos where they don’t rip u off and where limes and salsa comes free, check out Fitos in Lewisville! Those are authentic as it comes. And again this is MY OPINION, I’ll see if I can upload what real tacos should look like versus this place. I recently visited Rusty Taco in Denton and had a disappointing experience. The cashier didn’t greet me or make any effort to be friendly—in fact, he looked annoyed to be serving me, which made the whole interaction feel uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I ordered the fish taco and one of their limited-time specials. The food was fresh and tasted great, but the portions were small for the price. Between the lack of customer service and the cost, I don’t think I’d dine in here again.

If you’re looking for actual good tacos, this isn’t the place for it. The workers are rude and don’t care to explain anything, and the food is way too overpriced. You could go to the Taqueria down the street and get 2-3 tacos for the price this place is charging for one. The flavor isn’t even there either. Would never recommend this place over the countless amazing local Taquerias that deserve love and attention. Not some overpriced “Taco Shop”

I absolutely love coming to Rusty’s , I began coming every week and loved the new karaoke and music , it made the environment feel so much better and you could feel the family energy, I heard it was taken a way and I was so heartbroken :( I really hope they bring the speaker and microphones back so I can come and sing again with my friends !!!!
