Amazing food. My daughter says it is her favourite burger ever!

On our third day visiting Los Angeles from the Washington DC area, my wife and I had a great experience yesterday when we dined at this restaurant. Claudia was amazing from greeting and serving us, she worked with a smile and did not stop smiling while she worked, she kept the restaurant neat. All staff were very friendly. The food was so well prepared and delicious, we definitely want to come back.

It was good n fast with fresh burgers. I ordered cheese burger in animal style(boiled onion and put cucumber pickle) together with fries.

Love In N' Out! Quality all the way around - clean and the staff is quick and professional. Try ordering your meal "animal style". They grill the burger in mustard, add grilled onion and out the same grilled onion and sauce on the fries. Super messy and that almost always means good! Moved from out of state - so not my regular Diggs. Wish it was and look forward to some late night grub now that I'm here! Get used to the line tho - its there from open till close. Its that damn good.

This trumps most burgers I've ever had. As a New Jersey resident visiting California for the first time I'd say In N Out was one of my most anticipated stops. I've tried Krustyburger's Clogger. I've tried Red Robin's Ramen Burger. I've even had some other cool famous burgers I cant remember that I had. The animal style burger is one of the greats. Service is faster than Spongebob at the end of Help Wanted. Awesome shakes.

2nd In and Out experience. Great place to eat and hang out with friends. Have to say though, think an improvement could be made with drinks. Food is awesome though.

Everyone here is so welcoming! Even when it’s busy, the staff moves quickly and keeps things running smoothly. I tend to ask for a few extras with my order, but they never make me feel awkward or like a bother. The service is always friendly, efficient, and consistent a great experience every time I come in!

In-n-Out had an extremely efficient and fast line. We were all the way out in the street. But it still took less than 10 minutes to get our order. I am a big fan of the freshly cooked burgers, especially when they have a little crust that gives it a crunch.

Ambiance: There will always be a line, so put your patient pants on lol. Service: Consistently quick and accurate service. I've never had to remind them to give me anything. Food: Fresh and hot bruger and fries, one of the only places that understand what I mean by "light onion" peppers add the spice I like. Overall, it was a great experience.

Cannot come to California and not have an In-N-Out. Unique taste one of a kind burger. Always packed but quick service.

We love In N Out and always try secret menu items. This location is one of our favorite's in the area to visit. For secret menu try a Cheeseburger with a WHOLE Grilled Onion instead and honestly that's the only way we order our burgers always. You can also add chopped chilis or extra toasted buns. For fries we do animal style fries but with 2 Whole Grilled Onions instead. Also for crispier fries you can order them well done or no salt. For drinks try their LemonUp (pink lemonade & 7up) Or Neapolitan milk shake (swirl of all 3 flavors in 1 cup). We always ask for a lot of spread on the side and they are pretty generous with how many you can get. Overall great place to eat and best quality burgers, its a staple here and every time I visit cali first thing I do is go to In N Out.

When I first came to California the first meal I ate was In-n-out and it was amazing and today my last meal here was In-n-out, it’s the best burger in California they have a really special burger and fries, it’s filled with a lot of flavour that you will only taste at in-n-out, they give you a really good ratio of the burger. I would eat this meal every single day.

My friends and I come here almost every week and we all enjoy the burgers and their animal style fries. The food isn’t just food, it brings a smile to our face and satisfies us and gives us warmth and comfort. Everytime we’re around the place you can smell the fresh and great smell of food. Their workers are very respectful and they make us feel welcomed. They have a very clean space inside for their customers and bring great service to us making us want to come back for more.

This In-N-Out on Lakewood and Firestone in Downey is exactly what you expect from the brand—fresh burgers, hot fries, and quick, friendly service. The place is always clean inside, and the staff keeps things moving even when the line is wrapped around the block. The drive-thru can get busy and spill out toward the street during lunch and dinner rush, so be prepared to wait a bit, but the food is always worth it. The Double-Double is consistently spot-on, and the shakes still taste like they did when I first started coming here years ago. A dependable spot that never disappoints.

My wife and I enjoy the hamburgers and Double Double Cheeseburger and the fries from In-N-Out for many years. Every time we stop at any In-N-Out we can smell of the aroma of fresh cook fries and the smell of freshly cook meat pattys from the sizzling grill when we step in the restaurant. I enjoy the Double Double Cheeseburger very much especially if order Animal style including the fries adding Animal Style to you burgers or fries will make a difference of flavors. Their milkshakes are awesome they only threes flavors strawberry, chocolate and Vanilla. They also have a secret menu you can find on the web.

We went here straight from the airport. I ordered the double-double burger animal style, the french fries animal style and the chocolate shake. It was delicious as I remembered back in 2018 when I was in the city. They were busy but the service was fast and efficient. Staff were friendly and restaurant was clean. I went back 5 days later to buy a “to-go” for my flight back home. I already miss this place! Highly recommended.

In-N-Out is my favorite burger of all time and this spot makes them the way you want and expect. I ordered an animal style lettuce wrap double double combo with a strawberry shake. The protein style was delicious as usual and the fries were fried to a nice crispness. The strawberry shake just made it over the top. Solid recommendation & the best burger joint(as a whole)I’ve been too. The place has a descent amount of parking but gets full fast on peak times and when the drive thru gets busy.

Food is really good. It's just the long lines inside and drive-thru. Be careful inside if you wait for more than 20 minutes go up there and tell them because kids steal your orders and employees don't even notice.

Standard In-N-Out, food made to order, decent traffic management. Drive thru is good and the cutting in of vehicles is a good step in speeding up the wait time. Been here a few times and order is accurate each time. Staff is polite and helpful.

My experience with this In-N-Out branch was met with an extremely long line for the drive-thru and a crowded dining area. I understand it's a popular spot, but the wait times were quite extensive. It's unclear if this is typical for rush hour, but it certainly made my visit less enjoyable. The food, as always, was excellent, but be prepared for a lengthy wait if you visit during peak times.

My sister and I went to eat In-N-Out, so we went inside to order and they were already busy and were rushing. So we place the order and we are waiting and since it's packed the food is taking a while to come out but when we finally get our food we go back home. Then my sister starts to eat her burger. I am eating mine. She then calls my name and tells me that the middle of her burger is raw. We cut it open and the burger isn't cooked all the way. I grab my phone and call them in and they answer and ask me what was wrong. I tell them that her burger is raw and they ask me what I would like . They gave me 2 options but we picked a free meal and the lady told us that we should receive the card in the mail. She was really sweet and caring and dealt with the situation fast.

Im not someone to complain or write a review for no reason, but today I had a bad experience with the drive thru and customer service. I ordered 2 #2's and they forgot our one of our fries. That alone would not have been a big deal, if it wasn't for the fact that they basically rushed me out of the drive thru, while trying to ask for extra peppers.

Very disappointed. The burgers were overcooked, the buns were burnt and dry. Even the fries were hard. Eaten there everytime I visit family and it was always so good. We looked forward to it and were not satisfied at all.

I was excited to try In-N-Out. I don't have one where I live, but I went to one while traveling in California. Let's start with the cheese fries... they may as well have still been frozen. And the cheese... did you use a kraft single and throw it in the microwave? Fries 0/10 Burger.... I got a single with cheese. The bun had the texture of a crouton. And the burger was so underseasonsed and bland. 0/10 The only thing I can praise yall on is the price. I got a whole "meal" for 12-13$ in Downey, CA. That has to be the only reason people like this place. It's cheap. Got to be. The parking lot was full. Line wrapped around the building and into the street. 100% deceitful. In-N-Out is exactly what I should have done. Walked in, turned around, and walked out.

What a bad experience in this location. There are only 3 hamburgers in the menu and they don’t know how to serve you. The complete order was wrong. And the wait is horrendous. I prefer to drive all the way to Santa Fe Spring location with plenty parking and great service than come back to Downey.

I placed an order, 3x3 plain no cheese. Had to go back in because they put cheese. They redid my order, was asked three times, 3x3 no cheese, ketchup and raw onions. I said yes. Didn’t check the order because I was asked three times. Got to my brothers and to my amazement, another burger with cheese. I live in Alabama so the last time I was here, 2019, they did the same thing. Won’t go to that one ever again. Both burgers went in the trash.

Downey In-N-Out used to be delicious and fun, and now it’s burgers are soggy and its location mismanaged; now filthy and gross. For the last three years or so, this location basically stopped caring about cleanliness and appearance. The video attached is what a typical afternoon to evening looks like here. The employees don’t participate in cleaning, even when there’s big spills at the drink station. The food itself is far below the standard In N Out quality. The burgers are mushy, and obviously rushed. Very little lettuce. The fries here used to be on an extreme pendulum between soggy and burnt. They never made them better and they’re normally soggy. It would benefit them if they kept up the cleanliness into the later hours, as no one likes sticky tables and oil and sugar covered floors.

Burger dry, meat falling apart, napkin put on top of my animal fries, they put all 4 orders into 2 boxes after I said eating in car. Plus they throw away the receipt had to ask for it. They need better menus for the one's out in the parking lot taking orders or they need to build more bigger ones in the parking lot at the spots that they take the orders at.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. While eating my fries, I discovered a razor blade mixed in with the food. This is a serious safety hazard and should never happen at any restaurant, especially one as popular as In-N-Out. Finding something like that completely destroyed my trust and turned what should’ve been a simple meal into a frightening experience. Food safety and quality control were clearly lacking, and that’s not something customers should ever have to worry about. I will not be returning and hope this location takes immediate action to ensure this never happens again.

Man I told them no onion on my animal style fries and asked for some spread and they got it wrong put onion and no spread. What a way to satisfy my pregnancy cravings. Never going back to this location. 😭

Cashier waved me off 2 times When asked about my burger that had been prepared wrong the first time. Manager refunded and re ordered burger. Burger took over 30 min to be made and handed to me. Manager said they go by sequence on numbers when orders come in but clearly not. They said number 38 … 36…32. 62.. 57. While I was waiting never 37. Bottom line.
