Damn that was a really good Hamburger!!! I will definitely be back for more. The staff were really great, really friendly and fast. My food was so hot I had to wait to eat it. And the spicy ketchup was the perfect blend of spice and ketchup.

Beer on tap (even has Ballast Point!) And craft sodas in creative flavors on tap as well. I tried the pineapple cream soda with a little lemonade added...WOW so good, just add vodka and we are set. Decor is like a mod-retro-rustic vibe, very in right now. The wood/metal chairs remind me of the chairs at school back in the 80s. The flavor of the burger is great, angus chili cheese fries were fantastic. Very simple menu. The food sat like a brick in my tummy but thats what I get for being a heifer. LOL Next time I am sharing those chili cheese fries. U got to try it if u are looking for a simple yet fantastic tasting burger. Brioche buns! The best kind of bun! Check it out, u shan't be disappointed. It's a cross between Shake Shack and In N Out with a little Portillos in there. Can't go wrong with that.

I just tried their Double Cheeseburger. It was really really Good. I thought it was as good as In-N-out.. But these meat patties are bigger. I feel the meat patties have shrunk at In-N-Out. Check it out! I had no expectations before coming here but definitely glad I came. The burger was very good and they stand out with the bun toasted on the inside for a satisfactory crunch while biting into the burger. They have and impossible burger and a chicken burger if you are into that. The additional items are also a nice touch that differentiates them from other famous California burger spots Wich we all go in-n-out of.... Overall a satisfying burger that I would recommend to anyone try at least once.

this is a must visit if you're in the area! the burger ordered was delicious. the toppings that were available for the burger were so good as well. i suggest getting the 1/3lb size on the burger. the beer selection was a bit slim but that's okay. i really enjoyed the sweet potato fries. the 'spicy' chicken strips were so good too. i really liked the sauce that they came with. i'm tempted to go back sooner than later.

Next Burger in the city of Downey California was great!. My wife and I stopped at this Nexx Burger after church and honestly say our double cheeseburger and fries were delicious and the price was very reasonable too. The staff and service was friendly. Will definitely go back very soon!. :-).

Apart from In-N-Out this is one of the best burger places in So Cal. Fresh ingredients & well chosen ingredients at that. Unlike In-N-Out you can customize your burger w bacon / avocado / a whole list of other things. Both the fries & onion rings are on point. And they have the Stubborn Soda, probably one of the best “craft soda” companies out there.

Love this place the only issue I have with his place is that they don’t have changing stations… so either I have to leave my child with a dirty diaper or change him in the car which he hates… it just a service that they should have… suck that it they don’t have it…

The burgers are made fresh and using quality fresh ingredients on the burgers. The Impossible burger is a vegan burger but it made out of plants. It tasted really good and taste like beef I was surprise.

Best burger and spicy chicken sandwich! Its definitely worth the price and the price is not even expensive I feel like I spend more money in other places that dont even come close to being this good the meat and chicken are top quality and you can literally taste it in every bite! I came to Nexx Burger to try out their food because I absolutely love In N Out and everyone that has been to Nexx said their burgers are very similar. I ordered the 1/3 lb cheeseburger and I got my girlfriend the impossible burger along with some fries and a drink. The wait for the food wasn't too bad considering they cook everything to order, about 4-5 minutes. The quality of the burger was absolutely amazing! Fresh veggies, a juicy patty, and a high quality bun to stand up to everything sandwiched between. I also enjoyed their variety of home made sauces! Give their spread and spicy ketchup a try if you ever stop by. All in all, I would definitely recommend Nexx to any burger connoisseurs out there.

I got the double cheeseburger with bacon and avocado and it is by far one of the best burgers i had. Unlike other big burger joints the meat quality is great and burger is well put together. The fries are flavorful and are better than in-n-out which lack flavor. Friendly environment, great customer service and very satisfying. Been here multiple times and have no complaints. Will be back again soon.

Nexx Burger gets a 10 out of 10! This is by far the BEST burger joint I've been to in Cali! I had the impossible burger with Nexx Fries, which consists of special sauce, grilled onions and cheese.... It actually comes with bacon but I do not eat meat so held back on that. My meal was so awesome. My boyfriend had the 1/3 lb cheese burger with bacon and avocado with Nexx Fries as well and he really enjoyed his meal too. I have to say we will be visiting this place more often when we are in Downey for work!

Pretty amazing burger. Got a double cheese burger added bacon and avocado, upon the first few bites i could taste the quality. The size was great but i got really full. I really enjoyed the seasoning on the fries they were crispy and tasteful, add some ranch and its heaven. The presentation of the burger was great in the begining until i devoured it. I would return to try something different because it was an amazing experience. The soft drinks are a bit different. Place does serve beer!

I get full just eating the double cheese burger and today I actually i teared up when biting into the burger cause the onions were so fresh. I recommend adding the spicy ketchup instead of peppers. Saw an ad for this place after leaving the freeway. The burgers and fries were really delicious. They rival other burger spots in both price and quality. The highlight was the double cheeseburgers for 3.75 and it’s cheaper than In-N-Out’s double double.

I've had this place on my radar for awhile and my wife and I were not disappointed. I ordered the 1/3lbs hamburger with lettuce and tomato and their dressing, which is a 1000 island type sauce. I also ordered some onion rings. The hamburger was great. The burger patty was juicy and tasted like fresh ground beef. It was very good ground beef better than most places. I really like the dressing, it was a 1000 island type sauce but it had a different taste. It had just a bit of spice but not hot or spicy. The Onion Rings are the best I've ever had and I've had a lot of ORs in my life. They breading was very crispy and each OR had a good size ring of an onion. The breading and onion went together like peanut butter and jelly. Very good ORs! My wife ordered the $11.00 grilled chicken salad. The Salad was very fresh, like they just cut the lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers. There was plenty of grilled chicken to go with. My wife was very surprised on how good the salad tasted. The prices are a bit high but you are definitely paying for the quality of food and I think it was worth it. The food was amazing.

Omg!!!! This place is amazing. The food here is so damn delicious. I have a 3x3 burger and it really blew past my expectations. I was thinking maybe this could be like in n out at best. MAN THIS PLACE KILLS IN N OUT. Everything has a great taste to it. The bun, the cheese, THE MEAT, the lettuce, onions and tomatoes. Everything was together in perfect unison. Easily a 10/5 stars for me. They need to franchise globally!!

I came here during off peak hours because I was in the area and everyone says it's like in n out but cheaper. I got the $3.75 double cheese burger and it actually rivals in n out. I feel like nobody's talking about this but the fries are edible and crunchy unlike in n out. I will say that the price of the sides and drink are kinda inflated obviously to compensate for the price of the burger but even at a total of $10 for a combo you can't really complain considering chains will charge $15 for less food.

We ordered pick up through their website. I was able to pull up through the drive thru and pick up my order. The burgers here are great for the price. The onion rings could have been a little crispier but that also could have been due to the time it took to take them back home. All in all I will be eating here again.

1/3 lb Triple Cheeseburger combo, 1/3 lb hamburger combo, 1/3 lb cheeseburger combo, Impossible Burger combo. Great food, basically like In n Out but with more added items to add to your food. Not everything is on the menu so you can also look at the Uber eats or any other delivery service for the extra added options and other items. The Impossible Burger was good, it was what a burger would have tasted like. Of course I tried the hamburger and was pretty close, really no difference at all besides the weird odor it gave out but I think due to the onions. Great first experience and as well with customer service at the drive thru.

In my humble opinion, the similarity is there with In-✔️-Out but it's leagues better. I am a huge fan of the other place but it's starting to taste a little more commercialized, these days. Nexx's burger tastes real fresh. The price for a double cheeseburger is very respectable. The fries are more flavorful and thicker than most fast food restaurants. The chili cheese fries had a good amount of toppings and was savory. I would definitely go here again 💯

I ordered the vegan Impossible burger, with a side of fries and Felt like I was in heaven. (Not even kidding, Lord knows what magic they do in that kitchen). Fries were perfectly seasoned, crispy, and warm. As for the burgers? Never soggy, perfectly cooked, fresh, and packed with flavor. I really do wish I had taken a picture of my meal, but I devoured my meal so fast! I am super happy to have had the opportunity to order from a burger joint along with my family, forgot it is not always easy to find vegan options at any random place unless you do your research :,) Nexx offers options for many lifestyles, which brings even more charm to this place. Their commitment to quality as well as service truly stands out, and therefore, cannot believe why I never visited before, even as a local. I always enjoy when the people taking your orders and preparing your food look professional. I used the drive-through, and Sergio was very professional when ordering my burger. I requested the spicy ketchup and some ranch dressing for my onion rings. I got the double cheeseburger, which tasted great, and the onions rings. The value for this meal is there. When you have everybody raising their prices constantly because everyone else does it you get a little tired. Plus eveyine wants a tip for anything. Burgers were amazing. I had a double chili cheese burger with all the fixins and it was hot and hiccups juicy. Onion rings were great. I would've given them 5 stars, but the fries were the worst I've ever had. Not sure what they use to cook them, but they're not good at all in my opinion. I'd still come back here again. Definitely a place to go to!

In’ N Out is my favorite burger place but Nexxburger is the runner up for when you want to actually enjoy something much classier. Every single ingredient is fresh, and the patties are cooked to order (mind the wait time) and I never leave disappointed. They took the beer out years ago but the focal point is in the name of the restaurant. Super clean environment and the staff is trained in their handbook that “the customer is always right”. I’ve never had an issue other than the wait time being long at times; especially the drive drive-through. I suggest you park and go inside. I guess not if you’re an introvert because the staff is so friendly. Amazing burger joint, amazing staff, except a few of the managers who are always on the kids’ ahh instead of doing anything, but amazing food. They have multiple meat options as well. I just wished it would be open later hours. Definitely give it a try

The food was fantastic – I went for the double cheeseburger combo, and it didn't disappoint. The customization options are extensive, allowing you to tailor your meal just the way you like it. Definitely not as good as in and out but for the price I'll take it make sure you ask for sauces & napkina in drive through because they won't ask or give you any.

Very instagrammable Burger. With that said, instagram isn't always what is really there. Very visual, but not accurate. The taste is ok. The avocado gives the burger a different taste. But the lettuce was from the stalk (the not so tasty part) and the Angus beef just tastes like any other fast food restaurant. By far, in-n-out has way better flavor. The sweet potato fries are very filling, perhaps one person wouldn't finish them all. The Nexx fries were very delicious. It was the only thing worth going back for. It was A LOT of food. Probably 1 order can feed 2-3 people. I couldn't finish what I posted as a picture on my own and I am known to eat A LOT.

Burgers, fries, shakes, what else - well, it's hard to go bad with that, the quality is probably a little lower than say -IN/OUT, but it's so much cheaper, for what it is and the price, it's hard not to recommend to maybe the more higher name brand,but stick to the ground beef - the chicken leaves a little to be desired

Gave this place a shot. It's ok,nothing to rave about. I am not saying it's bad,their just isn't something super special about it. I am going to give them a second shot,because I want to try the chicken burger. The bathroom was clean and so was the restaurant, and that always good.

I used to love this burguer place because of how good of a price it has, yet I feel maybe my taste has changed or the quality has chnaged because I feel the burgers have a sweet flavor to it when to me used ro be more grilly savory flavor. But it still really worth the try

The price is right. The food not so much. The burgers aren’t expensive but they’re not that big either. The burgers are ok. The fries are very meh. I got a double cheeseburger with fries and a drink for about $11. Not bad. If you want to get rid of hunger for a low price come here but for flavor maybe elsewhere. I used the drive thru. Great service from an enthusiastic lady on the speaker. They have a parking lot

Double cheeseburger combo is advertised at $9.95 but in reality when they charge you it's $10.45. I'm not sure why that is but it is what it is. Burger was good and tasty, the fries were good and plenty .Double cheeseburger by itself is a good deal. The staff was friendly and the dining area was very clean and nice. My wife has a fried chicken sandwich and she enjoyed it also.

They service was great but the cheese burger was just average. The chicken sandwich was a little bit better. Just above average. One thing I liked about the sandwiches was that the bread was crunch…

Food over-rated.. Clean.. But sloppy to eat. If you label something crispy chicken sandwich,, it should be crispy, not soggy ! I wasn't in the mood for over-slop. Chili-fries lacked a "certain" ingredient.. Can't pin-point it.

So the food is good but the service is lacking. I ordered the combo 6 and I wanted to get sweet potato fries instead of the regular fries. The menu said that they can upgrade the regular fries for around 50 cents more. I asked to upgrade my combo and I was told that they would need to charge me for each item separately. I asked them why and they just told me that this was the way it had to be done. They told me the price and it was over $2 to order each item separately. I told them about the combo price and they just repeated that can not do anything about it. I found this very frustrating because I was not given any options and the workers was pretty rude to me. I used to find this location to be better than In n Out, however after this encounter, I feel like my review has to go downhill.

I thought I would try and Nexx Burger, it had high reviews and claimed to use high-quality beef. To be honest I was very disappointed, it's no different from any fast food place I've ever been to. I asked that the burger be cooked medium rare because it was Angus beef, why not? I was told clearly they only cook the burgers medium well! Which is typically a business operations procedure used by low level, low-quality beef to ensure that nobody gets sick. The Burger had little to no taste, with no seasoning or any flavorings on it, the saving grace was having a little ranch dressing on the side, which only made it palatable. Save your money and go to someplace else. Personally I think the habit grill is far better. The fries were standard, nothing special. No seasonings just a straight up French fries.

Came here cause my friends hyped it up... Food was good but not fulfilling....they are like going to a mom and pop in & out but the only difference is the party is a bit thicker. I wouldn't recommend getting their onion rings for the price they charge ...don't give you a good portion for your money's worth. Onion rings were bland. I dunno if I'll be coming back. For the price I spent I would go get a family pack.

This place used to be the king of fast food burgers in Downey; Amazing and juicy burgers, crispy and tasty fries and an amazing variety of fancy soda pops to choose from. Not it's just like any normal place, it's like your average Tom's/ Tam's burgers or probably even worse.

Came by out of curiosity and wasn't all that impressed. Ordered a drink, double cheeseburger, onion rings, and chicken tenders total was $23. The burger was weird had a unpleasant taste and smell, patties weren't cooked entirely, the buns didn't steam well to the heat of the patty made it weird to chew, the chicken tenders where standard chicken tenders that tasted chewy and microwaved, they also had a spicy wet rub as well that doesn't fit the dish as it makes it taste like rubbery wet chicken strip, they where also spicy but the spice didn't linger all that long. The only good thing about the dish was the onion rings although this place is a solid pass for me.

If you're coming here because it's "better than In N Out," just don't. The only thing that's "better" is that it's a bit cheaper than In N Out -- otherwise, it doesn't compare. We fell for their IG and TikTok advertising and was pretty excited to come here. We were so disappointed the moment we took our first bite. Pros: - The staff is courteous and friendly and come to the table to take your trash. - The fries were very crispy and fresh out of the fryer. Cons: - The way the dining room is laid out makes it very hard to navigate, especially having a table right by the counter where you order. - No napkins or condiments on the customer side and they only give one napkin with your order - The hamburger patty and chicken tenders are very obviously frozen - The thousand Island seems to be house-made, but is very, very pickle-forward in taste - Parking is horrendous, especially when busy. The parking lot is shared with other businesses, with signs to not park there. Overall, would not come back here.

Ive been to this establishment via drive thru a few times my most recent visit was in 2025 and again today 02/06/2026 First time dining in and i have to say the to start the table was dirty to start Second the music was very loud and i had to raise my voice to talk with whom i was eating with Third the person i was eating with ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and it was DROWNED AND SLATHERED with mayo And the when your order a chicken sandwich you’d expect a decent portion of chicken why when the sandwich was taken apart mid-meal it was literally ONE CHICKEN TENDER BROKEN IN HALF ABSOLUTELY EGREGIOUS.

They serve little fries and no condiments like ketchup or ranch! For $3.50, i could buy a bag of fries at the grocery store For that price, it's not worth it lol the burger is cheaper!!! I'LL MAKE SURE NEVER NEVER GET FRIES THERE !! Best fries at chick-fil-a and better price !!!

I've been going to Nexx since it opened and have enjoyed it immensely till today. You changed your fries and I hate them . Hopefully you'll change them back someday. If not there's always McDonalds! Thanks 😊

I bought a meal and seat back down when I forgot a ranch. I went to go ask for a ranch and they told me they charge for dressing like I just bought a meal and you're still charging me for a ranch that's crazy. Just got to your local hamburger spot it's better. FYI IN-N-Out is better. FREE DRESSING THERE.
