Opiniones de Tofu House Dublin
We ended up not eating here because it was a busy Friday night and we had a large party, but the fact that it was busy and recommended by several locals is a good sign. The menu looked exciting and I can't wait to try it. The staff there was very friendly!!
Picked this place at random and boy am I glad! Got the seafood ramen and it checked every box: there was a generous amount of seafood in it (squid, whole prawns, mussels), it tasted great, and there was *much* more than expected...I'm a fairly small person so YMMV, but I got 3, 3.5 delicious meals out of it. Kimchi was great, too. I can't speak to ambiance/service. Ordered as takeout, wandered around the square a bit, picked it up and left. Will definitely go here again. One note on the spicy level, their mild is true "mild", gentle warmth. I'll probably go medium next time.
A hidden gem placed in a dead plaza! The food is absolutely delicious. I got the yukgejang (a spicy beef soup) and the soondubu. I definitely would recommend both. My friend got the dolsot bibimbap which looked sooooo yummy!! Will definitely try that next time. The prices are reasonable and the portions are pretty big. For korean food, it's actually relatively cheap. Aside from the food, the staff was very friendly and attentive. I will 100% be coming again soon.
I was craving for Soon tofu soup and this restaurant really hit the spot with their seafood tofu soup- incredibly soft silky smooth tofu. I ordered the stone hot bimbimbap that comes with tofu soup, we were pretty surprised that it came with clams and shrimp which was a nice surprise. They have quite a lot of side dishes compared to your typical Korean restaurant in the bay, all in all, a great experience. It is a casual place with lots of children.
This is my favorite Korean restaurant simply because of their spicy BBQ chicken item. The meat is tender, flavorful and sits in a bed of grilled onions. I'll order this dish every time I get lunch here for either dine in or take out. They have a big variety of Korean dish to choose from their menu. This is located in the back of a small shopping center right next to a Montessori. There is always plenty of parking spots. Staff is always nice and attentive.
Pricey, but extremely good. Very authentic. Went for the tofu soup, but loved the bulgogi. A large number of sides, each delicious -- the best kimchi I have ever had. Also the best katsu -- not at all dry. Even the rice was much better than average.
This place is great! The staff fixed our table wobble when we were seated, and filled our waters. The food was amazing, my wife had the bimbimbap, and I had the kimchi soup and beef combo, we also had the wings which were fried and juicy and great with the gojujang sauce. Bonchon came with the meal and the cucumber pickles did not disappoint, I really enjoyed the potatoes too.
Very very good. Kimchi and all side dishes are same as Seoul.
If you want some authentic korean food this is the place to go. The tofu soup is a must, you won't regret it.
Really enjoyed their tofu soup (not too oily or dark red in color). However, there were only 3 small pieces of beef in it. I really liked their banchans. Most places only give you 3-4 but they give you 9 here including all my favorites: pickled radish, seaweed, marinated cucumber, fish cake, bean sprouts and glazed potatoes. I also liked that they give the yellow Croaker with the soup as more places do not.
Love the tofu soup & side dishes! I generally get the mushroom tofu soup or the veggie tofu soup. Add the provided egg and it’s a delicious meal.
My friend recommended this place and it was amazing! We shared jap chae, dolsot bibimbap and the soondubu/ribs combo. we went early on a Friday night and I’m glad because by 6:30 the place was packed and there was a line!
Love this place! Tofu soup with pork and kimchi? It’ll be hard to ever eat anything else!
So delicious! One of the best Korean restaurants in the Bay Area. We each ordered different tofu soups and we had a lot of small dishes (for two people this was also a lot). The servers are super nice! I wish I will be back again!
One word delicious! Pork rib is perfect. Great amount flavor, char and deliciousness. Definitely get this. It’s very legit. Loved all the appetizer it gave us. So much food! Every dish was very good except not a big fan of broccoli. I got the bbq pork rib & spicy cold noodles. Cold noodles was so good. Yum yum. Highly recommended. The staffs are working hard and their best. There are so many customers and it can get hard to keep up with the demand. It may require a bit of wait for the food to come but you won’t regret it though!
The food here is absolutely delicious! We ordered clam tofu soup, assorted tofu soup, bulgogi beef, and stone pot rice, all of which were fantastic. The waitress is friendly, making us feel right at home. I highly recommend this restaurant!
My favorite soondobu place in east bay. The soondobu size in their combos are the same as individual orders. Some places will give you a smaller portion in combos, not here!
This place is stuck in a corner but it's because this place is like a hidden gem. I had pork bbq tofu soup combo for $27.99 (if I'm correct). I ordered Kimchi Tofu soup spicy. I also ordered Korean style sweet rice drink called 식혜. The servers were really kind in the midst of their business. The kimchi tofu soup was amazing. I highly recommend this place.
So delicious as expected! Have been coming here for years even before pandemic. Quality is still the same and service has remained great! I always get the soondubu and seafood pancake. Plenty of banchan options too. Thank you!
Super tasty food. I wish the extra spicy tofu soup was spicier but it hits the spot. Haven't had a bad dish here. Staff is super nice!
I ordered the kimchi tofu soup to-go. The packing was really nice and the taste of the food is amazing definitely visiting the place again to try other food items. Do call and ask for waiting during weekends as the place is always packed.

Great services! Amazing food. 👏 🔥 😋. We highly recommend stopping by here. Definitely bringing friends and family next time

Excellent food with friendly service in a clean simple setting. Servings were generous, flavors were satisfying and it was worth the money. We ordered the Kimchi Bibimbap and cold noodle soup.
A hidden gem in Dublin. Both authentic and traditional, this place delivers a wonderful experience of Korean food. The kimchi tastes truly authentic, made with their own secret know-how that sets it apart from others. Every small dish is crafted with care and discipline, adding to the taste

Relatively inexpensive for $15 tofu soup with all the bonchon. The flavor of the soup was a little light but also, I ordered the beef dumpling soup and they only gave me two dumplings. I should have gotten the beef and clams instead, two dumplings doesn’t seem sufficient
$13.10 after tax for seafood soft tofu stew during lunch. Came with a raw egg and purple rice. I went alone and still got eight banchan. One or two were too salty; otherwise, they were good. Service was quick. Overall, not bad. Worth repeating, but if it were a couple bucks less, I'd come even more often. Oh, I ordered medium spicy - next time, I'll try one notch higher.
Since moving out to San ramon, my family & I tried finding a local decent Korean restaurant! Been eating @ Young Dong for years now, it’s probably the best Korean food in the area (besides east bay- hayward/oakland)! Attentive staff & quick service every time. Usually 2-3 women waitressing. The actual restaurant is simple, basic tables & chairs. Nothing fancy, But always clean. Working one person bathrooms. They have highchairs for the babies. And booster seats. Chopsticks and forks. My favorite meat is Kalbi & Bulgogi…. Always get kimchee pancake to start. They have a delicious iced cold sweet rice drink with little pieces of rice at the bottom which I order every time. Pretty decent side dishes…. We always ask for more honey potatoes and bean sprouts though. The radish soup hits the spot also… okay I’m getting hungry for Korean food writing this now… Lol Go visit!
Easy lot parking. Came with a group so thankfully we can by 6pm on a Sunday as it filled up quick soon after that. Plenty of choices. Food was decent. Not spectacular but pretty good. Plenty of side dishes which is part of the reason I go eat at Korean restaurants. #1 Tofu soup- very little beef and shrimp meat. A few clams. Enjoyed it with rice and the included fried fish though too many bones to manage. Bibimbap- this is good if you want veggies. My partner wanted more meat.
Good food, interesting BBQ marinade (more seasoning vs. traditional sauces), great kimchi pancake, and sides are really delicious. A little on the pricier end (~$90 all in for a weeknight dinner for 2 adults and 2 young kids), but we'll likely go back every once in a while.
I only got 8 ban chan, that's still ok. Just the side dishes alone made coming here worth it. The Yuk gae Jang spicy beef soup was very delicious, I use it as a barometer to determine the level of the chef kind of like you can use plain fried rice to determine the level of a Chinese chef. 1/2026- The potato ban chan is my personal favorite, followed up by the bean sprouts and kim chee. Bright atmosphere, hardly any of the customers here were speaking English. Strongly recommend this place.
Our go-to Korean place ever since our favorite closed down years ago. The place makes delicious Korean food, similar to what we had in Korea. However, it’s pricey compared to other K-places. This place can get crowded very easily so come early!
A++ at this Korean restaurant. Lunch special is not a bad deal. Tea, I think its barley tea is super good. Rice, looks like a multigrain rice is tasty. I recommend this place. BTW, no Amex accepted, Visa Mastercard,Discover is ok.
SF East Bay (Dublin). Updated May 2024. One of our go-to Korean restaurants - we especially like their tofu soups & the spicy cold noodle soup!
Came here around 7pm on a Wednesday night. Not too packed, we were seated right away and served hot tea. After 10 minutes the waitress came and took our order. Service and food was good. Will be coming back.

Food 3.5 stars, banchan a bit salty sometimes. Service 3 stars depends on worker and day. Price 3 stars. Reasonable lunches, pricey dinners. Cleanliness 4 stars, strong ammonia smell upon entering. Wait: busy during meal times Parking: sufficient spaces.
Have eaten here a couple times now. The wait staff are overworked, leading to a poor service experience - you'll be waiting a long time for them to take your order, then longer for the food to come out. Anything you want (napkins, water, etc) you might as well just walk up to the counter because the waitresses will not remember to bring it to you. The tofu soups are very good. Last time we were there the fried fish was served cold and soggy - it was probably sitting out for a while.
The food is good and the servers are nice, but they are super stingy about banchans. If you ask for more, they will give it, but will limit you. Prices are reasonable for the portions. Small restaurant that gets busy so expect to wait at peak times. Plenty of parking in the large parking lot

Take out disrespect. Ordered well priced sea food soup. Some tofu and literally one clam and one shrimp. Highest level of disrespect. I hope dining in guests are treated better.
I don't think $19 for kimchi soup with pork worth I paid. For 2 of us it was $52 for lunch. The meat was cut and very little. I don't think I will go back there again.
Food here is good, and prices are decent as well! -2 stars for service however!! The waitresses was overworked, so seemed quite rude. We asked two separate waitresses for tea (one of them rudely told us to wait and she'll give it to us in a few mins), and never got it.

Long time customer for 3-4 years. They became very disrespectful and the tofu soup is watered down. This restaurant used to be great but the food turned bad. They gave us a check MID WAY through the dinner. Very disrespectful behavior.
Food is lacking in portion size in comparison to cost. The people running the restaurant charge more money then their food is worth and they also don't have a cash payment discount as many places often do. Best reccomendation find another location to have your korean food at unless you have money to blow in which case goto a different restaurant like French Laundry which costs about as much and has still small portions.
The food wasn’t bad, but the service wasn’t good. I’ve worked in the food industry before & I would never have treated customers so rudely. the workers spoke over my friend and gave her attitude instead of answering a simple question (about where the soy sauce was, as our table didn’t have any). Our waters weren’t refilled even once, among other little things.. not sure if the waitress was being overworked, but this is no way to treat customers.
Just had dinner here with family for my mil’s birthday. This has been the family’s go-to restaurant for family-style Korean food and we have enjoyed all the times we’ve been there. Until this time. After we ordered, we waited for 20 minutes before our banchans were served. The people around us that came later than us were served already. In the middle of the meal my mil asked for banchan refills and they said only three refills per table (we never encountered this before and they didn’t notify us this rule before the meal). We ordered 5 dishes for 4 adults so it’s not like we are only eating banchans. I ordered another soondubu after seeing my mil not getting more banchan. It took a very long time and I had to ask them to either cancel or make it into a to-go (and the raw egg they gave had a crack on it already). It was a very disappointing experience.
The food was okay and that's not what I'm going to talk about today. The service was horrible. The waitresses treated us like we were not there. No water or tea was served. Had to call them to come back to us to take the order. When the food was ready, they basically dumped a boiling hot stone soup in front of my 2 year old boy. I don't know what's going on with them. I understand that it could be stressful to help all the customers during the dinner time but they are lacking some basic customer service skills and common sense.
We've been enjoying the food and service here at the restaurant for many years. We noticed that the boss is overworking the waitresses and mistreating them. Today one of our kind waitresses was pulled aside by the boss, and he was yelling at her, and making her cry. We believe this mistreatment is unacceptable. We don't want to support this restaurant owner that mistreat their staffs. We hope this mistreatment stops. If it gets worse, we will look into reporting him to OSHA.
The price is extremely high! Tofu soup only have beef size like booger, shrimp is dry shrimp. Barely have protein. It’s in us not in Korea, I don’t understand $18 can’t got me some real meat? And there is no service too. Don’t come here
