I had the roast beef and cheddar sandwich, and it was divine. The place was clean, and the prices were affordable for what I got it was a lot of food

We’ve been coming to Hobos for over 10 years (my parents for 30+!) and it’s still the best hot sandwich shop in Houston. 🥪🔥 We drive 45 minutes just to get one—it’s always worth it. Perfect bread, melty cheese, and piled-high meats every single time.

The bread!!! Delightfully toasty on the outside and still heavenly soft in the middle! Perfection that is only achieved when MADE IN-HOUSE and with love!! Sooo many times I’ve driven past this place not knowing what I had been missing. Next time you’re craving a sammy, check out this lil gem. I was a little hesitant because the sandwich I wanted came with black olives and that’s just not something I eat, but that was one of THE BEST chicken salad sandwiches I have ever had. Yummm!!!! 😋 It had only the slightest sweetness to it, but that may have been coming from the bun… not sure. More research is needed.😉 Can’t wait to go back!

Loved it! Soft toasty bun Ham & Swiss sandwich🤤. I don't usually like olives but it was a great sandwich regardless. Great service. $22 for 2 full sandwiches, chips and a large drink. Highly recommended 🤩

Hobo's is a bit of a hidden gem in the Cloverleaf area. The sandwiches are all really good as they are fresh and made with bread baked in shop. Perfect for lunch, and the combos leave you fuller than expected.

I tell so many people about this place, that it makes Jimmy John’s, Firehouse, and subway look awful. I hope Hobos is around forever because I want to take my great grandkids here one day (I’m 20).

Service was great and the sandwich (chicken salad). The sides, I wished there was more selection. Love the pickle slices... The establishment was cleaned & spacious.

Decent shop taste good af Alittle heavy lettuce but quite atmosphere Cookies are bombbbb Im pretty dense so I didnt catch any belittling towards me as a minority ... I will say she doesnt sugar coat anything she just blunt and personally I liked that ... straight to the point .(ME:do you have any soups?HER :No) (ME:I dont want Lettuce ,onion,tomatoes...HER:so plain.)

Customer service was wonderful and so was the food. The only thing negative I would say is the price on the website is less than the price in the establishment. So when paying for the food it cost more than what I expected.

The restaurant is nice. Never been ordered a large double meat. I’d hate to see what a regular single meat is. Sandwich was good, beef and cheddar

Yes, the bread is amazing. Which make for a great sandwich. Next time I will get extra meat. Not sure about the “amazing” service that I see on many reviews. The guy working the counter was uninterested and anything but amazing. After giving me my sandwich he returned to his side table and decided to take a nap. The restaurant itself is pretty rundown with faded tablecloths, dirty air vents and ceiling tiles, and faded photographs on the wall. They could definitely use some music to kill the awkward silence. Would definitely return for the sandwich though
