Great sandwich shop, good variety, half and full size sandwiches, soups and you always get a cookie if you have a sweet tooth. If in an area of one, definitely were a stop and taste.

ive had multiple great experiences.. the crew is super friendly and have helped our company with quick last minute lunches several times ! great location , ***** keep up the great work and a shut out to jadda , she helped me and got the help i needed

Sandwiches are always on point here. Even the really simple ones. Bread is never soggy! And all the staff is very friendly to my 2 toddlers. :)

This place was a recommended must try spot, and I must say, I'm glad I stopped by. Fresh food, great taste.

The young ladies that run this shop are Awesome. The Owners are friendly and personable. I had an experience in shop that I almost let get out of hand because of an overbearing and privileged customer who had several sandwiches and wanted each staff member to make a sandwich. It was no way the owners fault and I almost took it there. But the owner stayed calm and kept a smile on her face the whole time. She's wonderful. I even felt compelled to call the store and thank them for being so Awesome. And the sandwiches do not taste franchise quality. They have genuine deli taste. My spot for my Deli sandwich. Thank you Mr Pickles and to the kind owners, Thanks for keeping it Classy and Professional ⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟

Fresh, tasty and filling sandwiches. Classic Mr. Pickles sandwich did not dissapoint. Stuff is super friendly, plenty of seating inside and outside, very clean and restrooms available. Though i find it a bit too expensive to pay $10+ for a sandwich.

The sandwiches are very good. The only issue is the bread is hard so if you like cold sandwiches I wouldn't recommend.

I have celiac disease and this location did a great job with my order. The employee who made my sandwich wiped down the counter and got fresh ingredients from the back to lessen risk of cross contamination. 4 stars because it was expensive for a very average gluten free wrap, but I’m very satisfied with my experience here

Love the fresh food, yet lunch time is limited so I call in, order so it can be a quick grab. The wker there said 5 min.. well 10 min later I get there and they just start making it after I wait two others walked I with me.

The sandwiches here are decent, not great but not bad. The service is very hit and miss however - if it's quiet and nobody else is in the store then you get served quickly with medium-standard customer service. If the store is busy, the customer experience disintegrates, there is no obvious way to queue, no obvious place to wait for your food, no greeter, not sure where to start the queue and the servers lose interest in the customer service. It's a pity - there is nowhere else on that stretch of San Pablo that serves deli-standard sandwiches. Big opportunity.

The speed & Customer Service Messed it up for me. I waited in line for like 19 mins & then had to repeat my half a sandwich order 1 too many times. Half sandwich Turkey not pickle or onions jack cheese. In total I was in Mr. Pickles for 24 mins for a half a sandwich (also there was only 3 people ahead and one ordered a premade salad. Sandwich was good but Not worth the Wait.

When you got a mr pickle sandwich for a picnic at the park and the bread has MOLD on it.. We like Mr Pickle and ordered many sandwiches from them but this time I am disappointed!!

My family and I walked out and went to the MR.Pickles in Petaluma. This one has a totally different menu. And when asked about other sandwiches they had no clue what we were talking about. I love the one Petaluma on Lakeville hwy. Owner's are grest staff is great. And they have the red racer and gaucho sandwiches that our family love

Please don't put the dutch crunch roll in the microwave to soften the bread!!! My daughter came home with a sandwich, in which the bread was a brick. Could not eat.

This particular Mr.Pickles is the worst. Everytime I have gone there to get a sandwich they mess up my order. Today was the third and final time will ever buy for this location. The one in Martinez is supreme and you should take the time to drive out there instead. I hate this location.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I placed an online order accidentally at this shop and when I called to cancel they would not refund me my money because they had already placed my order. They offered a partial refund and have yet to receive it 2 days later. I then contacted them only to speak to a different manager who was rude and asked me to "calm down" when I asked her to please contact me today because I had not heard from anyone. I'm sorry I want my money back for the sandwich, chips and drink I never received! Whatever happened to customer is always right?? I was even understanding that they were only refunding me half but to just ignore me. Bad, all bad!! ****Update**** They refunded me for half my order (chips, drink, sandwich) when I was told it would be a refund on my drink, chips and HALF the price of the sandwich. When questioning why, manager Mark stated because I had to pay for the time put into preparing the sandwich, CHIPS AND DRINK?? The must be hard up for sales.

Got a flat in front of the shop in my car with my kids and my phone was dead. Went in to see if I could use the phone & ordered a sandwich for the kids to split. After money changed hands the manager came over and said I couldn't use the phone. (Wow, that;s the way to build customer loyalty!) The employee felt so bad she let me use her personal phone. (She was great.) The management should think about serving their customers when they are in need. Sad for them, find a new manager.

I allowed plenty of time to pick up my online order and presented my confirmation page only to be told they didn’t have my sandwhich and that it must of been the wrong location although the confirmation page clearly displayed their location address. Then it was perhaps under a different name. I only have one name. I ended up leaving without a sandwhich that I paid for. Foolish of me to also leave a tip

Tried to order a catered lunch and it’s impossible from the website. I called the El Cerrito store and no one answered the phone. So I guess we won’t be catering from Mr Pickles.

I’m not sure what the deal is with this place but I ordered 2 turkey sandwiches and they took over 30 minutes to make them. I was one of only about 3 customers in the store the whole time. They didn’t even start on my order until 20 minutes after I had ordered, and there were 4/5 employees working. Just ridiculous.

On my way back from using their restroom I got trapped in the hallway. Their door was locked. I had to continuously call the shop until they answered so someone could unlock the door for me. I'm leaving a review because of how poorly they handled the situation. They KNEW the door wasn't working and "forgot". They hardly even apologized!!

They double charged me and never refunded me for my sandwich. I literally paid 46 bucks for a sandwich...they were less than helpful trying to resolve the issue and kept telling me that they didn't charge me twice. They absolutely did.

I found the staff not particularly friendly and one lady was sitting down watching the only other person work while there was a line. If I ever give them another chance I'll report back. I want to like them but it's really disappointing to go in for an advertised deal and they do not honor it. I love other locations.

Since it’s happened on several occasions, it makes me expect this type of behavior the next time I go.
