Excellent breakfast and great value too. See you next time!
This is a great restaurant in El Cuyo. The lunch options are all great, and the staff very helpful.
This restaurant is a hidden gem in El Cuyo. If you're looking for an authentic and typical Yucatecan breakfast, this is the place. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, perfect for starting your day. Prices are very affordable, and the service is great—the staff is friendly and attentive. I'll absolutely be returning on my next trip!
This was my favourite place in El Cuyo. We went there for breakfast and lunch. Good portions and delicious food. We had eggs, pancakes and fresh fish and camaron ceviche. Besides that really kind and helpfull staff. Luis and Esteban were great and always took time to tell us about the Maya history and beautiful region. Would be happy to come back another time in beautiful El Cuyo.
We ate here for a lot of our breakfasts while in El Cuyo - it was very affordable, portions were good and the food was great. We often had the chilaquiles and mojetes as well as the kids meals of pancakes. Delicious
Great restaurant. We ate here a number of times. Pescado frito is really good. Excellent spot for a late lunch on a Sunday.
The place was cute. We wanted to spend the day on the beach so stopped by to order empanadas for breakfast and ceviche for lunch. They said it would be ready in 25 minutes so ran some errands and came back. They have many options on their menu and everyone was friendly. The empanadas and ceviche was flavorful. They said they would deliver to us next time if we wanted.
This place is the right taste and the right price! Excellent, friendly service, lots of tasty choices to eat, central to the town, and you can eat pretty cheap depending on what you pick. Something for everyone. I had a $3 egg, cheese and ham sandwich and it hit the spot! But you can get all kinds of food here. All the locals recommend it.
Very delicious. We had shrimp with champiñones, fish filet and carne asada. 5 out of 5 stars. Great prices and friendly service. Pet friendly
Solid restaurant with a lower price point. We ended up eating here twice! Best breakfast in town for sure! Order their jug of juice for 100 pesos it’s incredible watermelon, mango etc. highly recommend!
Cute and nice restaurant in the area. I believe they are open every day for lunch. The secret sauce is “Mojo de Ajo” from the owner — and you should try a dish with that. The portions can be shared. We had the octopus with the garlic sauce and the chicken cutlet and they were both good. I would recommend going here for lunch!
One of the best dinners we had in this area. Prices are good and the food very tasty. Quantity is over average. The terrace was also very nice and the staff was happy to help and gave tips with a smile. The Camarones with garlic sauce was the best. Totally recommended!
Great restaurant for simple place for local seafood and other dishes with fast service and great prices. Highly recommend for lunch as they do close at 1800 and being a place for fresh, local seafood, may run out of certain, seasonal options such a lobster or octopus. Overall, great basic restaurant for lunch which will not disappoint. We had the grilled prawns, grilled fish, seafood soup and empanadas all of which were delicious!
Really excellent food!! We ordered fish ceviche, fish a la mexicana and shrimp nachos. It was all amazing, we left stuffed and happy! An incredible seafood experience. I'd be willing to bet everything on the menu is excellent. Yes, the service is a little slow, but everything is served piping hot and delicious. Well worth it.
I came in for a late lunch. Got the caldo de camarones and a sparkling water... simple. Too simple so I did not get the welcome chips and black bean dip? Not a big deal, I did not ask for it, but not a good show. The soup was ok but not memorable. Plenty of shrimp though! I agree with the other review stating the broth is somewhat tasteless. I had to ask for lime, cilantro, onions and habanero on the side (it usually comes with the soup by default) - and I was able to spice it up. Service was not bad but not great - one waiter was very kind, the others did not seem to care much. I had to ask 5 times for a glass to drink my water. Overall a good lunch, but not sure I'll be back.
Loved the environment. Would like to give this restaurant 5 stars but there were inconsistencies between visits. Ordered the empanadas two days in a row and came with different sauces each time- one was amazing and one less amazing. One day the rice was the best rice I ever had, another day it was totally plain. Fried plantains come with a lot of dishes and are delicious. Was my favorite place to eat out in El Cuyo.
Very salty food, overcooked fish, tiny and unimaginative guacamole. Waiter refused to turn down the music. Navios across the road is better.
