I have been coming to this location since I was a kid! I grew up in the area and there is no telling how many times I've enjoyed eating here and having a great time with my friends and parents. Now, I come with my husband, son and dad and still LOVE it! It's laid back, causal and comfortable. The service is prompt, and hostess and waitress have been very friendly and the manager comes around and is very attentive and helpful. I have a few menu favorites that never get old, and the seasonal specials and drinks keep the choices interesting. I'm definitely not a sports kinda girl, but as a bar and grill, I still do enjoy how fun and lively it gets with a game on and fans coming together to support (or oppose lol) the teams. This will always be a choice when comfort is what we're "craving".

Went back yesterday to visit the one and only JAZZY, because we always enjoy her fun and bubbly personality, always attentive, positive attitude and absolutely hilarious and considerate to all of her tables even when it’s busy as a usual Saturday night!! We saw that one of her tables were giving her a hard time, we witnessed that they were uptight and rude, but JAZZY handled it well and professionally and still had a positive attitude and saw her do her best which is always no less than BEST for the outstanding server she is. Had the bacon cheese burger and fries. I would order it again. The server was very good.The only thing that set me back was the dry attitude of the young receptionist acted like she didn't want to be there. I did point it out to management on the way out. Just a small smile goes a long way for the business and people to return. Left a 10.00 dollar tip. On a 21.62 bill good service.

There's just something strange about restaurants these days, that it's hard to find the home-made taste anymore. Specially at these franchise/chain owned restaurants. Not only that, but the portions are stingy. I had to order the (two for $25.), and I'm not a big fella. Applebee's is one of those places, it's a hit and miss place, where one day they hit the bullseye and the next you think you're at mickey d's. My waitor was on his toes, taking care of business and making sure I had everything Applebee's could provide. He did make my dinner acceptable, kudos‼️

The service was at best mediocre. I asked for a side salad before my meal but the waiter forgot and brought the salad after I had finished my meal. The wait staff seemed bothered to serve our party of 10 and I felt rushed. It seemed as if they wanted us to leave and they closed the door to the dining area we reserved because our party was loud. Went to go have dinner and the service was fast when getting our food. However we didn’t get checked on and my cup stayed empty. Chili’s would have never!!

Horrible service and deff won't be back due to "jazzi" the waitress. Asked for stuff she repeats back then when she comes back she doesn't have it. And then proceeds to tell you you never asked for it! She then stands at your table and in a very weird way after you are done ordering. Idk it just was all weird and felt very uncomfortable with her.

This is the Applebee's at Yarborough. Was in the big room. Manager was rude. We asked for the TV and she was in a bad room. She didn't even turn on the lights. Chicken platter was more like chicken fingers. My husband meat was fat. Potatoes had no flavor. Paid $1.29 for cheesey broccoli. I paid $1.29 for a pinch of shredded cheese. Bartender didn't know how to make a bloody Mary.

The employees were okay but me and my husband got there at 7 pm and did not receive our food till 50 minutes after and not only that but people that got there after ourselves received their food first and finished it before we received our food it is not fair it is not my fault if y’all where not organized enough or if y’all forgot but to have people waiting 50 dang minutes just for 2 plates of food a piece of chicken some pasta a bread some ribs and fries 50MINUTES??????Second time there and best believe never coming back:/ not the best that i expected out of this “nice” restaurant but as soon as i asked for the receipt “ the manager” came and brought our COLD FOOD and did not apologize for the wait or didn’t even let us know he was the manager so we could complain. The server after we asked multiple times for the ticket he was the one apologizing not the “manager” asked for the food to go and ate outside honestly embarrassing

Cold ribs. Worst customer service! And then....... raw bloody wings!!! Manager didn't even care! Terrible.

Worst experience ever I went today Friday Dec 19th, 2025 around 9pm I had a very uncomfortable experience at this Applebee’s, While I was breastfeeding my baby at my table, a manager approached my friend instead of speaking to me directly and asked her to tell me that I needed to cover myself. Breastfeeding is legal in Texas with or without a cover, and being approached this way made me feel singled out, discriminated and humiliated I hope management provides proper training so this does not happen to other mothers.

Talk about misrepresentation. I had it with this place, so I thought I should let you all know. Second time I order the rib eye (if you can call it that). Shame on me for letting Applebee’s fool me twice. First of all to the steak itself- about half an inch thick at best. Overcooked both times- probably because it was too thin for a ribeye. We all know they are supposed to be over an inch thick. The portion of sides are nothing at all. Really dishonest in my opinion to dupe customers. Definitely not worth $25. Look at photos of what they represent for the steak. And the pathetic appetizer was just as bad. Secondly, the survey is a farce. They don’t honor them. Manager couldn’t even come out to tell me. They just sent the server. The manager is this place is a dishonest person in my opinion. Never even set foot out on the floor.
