Nice little place, don’t hesitate to come here! They have a rock garden full of marvel characters and more
Rare you find a nice and quaint comic book store that has hidden gems in them. I look for customer service beyond all else and the lady here was delightful. It was worth the detour to check it out. Picked up a comic I adore.

Young lady that helped us was very friendly and helpful. Place was very clean and organized. Lots of cool stuff.
The owners there are very friendly and sweet! I've been subscribed to them almost a year now and I have never had any issues with their service or products. They have an amazing variety of both merchandise and comics, and are always ready to assist or hold an item for me. I'll definitely be going to their store for years to come 👍
I love this shop. It has incredible variety and such an amazing and willing staff. I feel like they know their stuff when it comes to what your looking for in a comic, manga, graphic novel or even just a figure.
The owner is very friendly and attentive. She also knows her stuff and will get you comics that are coming out. It's a small place but it has a good atmosphere. Love the music she has playing in background. I would definitely recommend the place for anyone likely for comics, pops, and action figures. Also like that she will remind you when your comics arrived. But more importantly she is very honest.
Cool little shop with your usual comics/merch, but they also have a selection of extras that range from plants to handmade goods as well. They've got friendly and knowledgeable staff who are happy to help.
It's a cute little shop off of Lee Trevino. Lots of collectibles and a good amount of comics to pick from. I recently became a regular here and it has been great! The owners are friendly and have provided me excellent service!
I didn't catch the lady's name, but she was super nice the moment I walked through the door. I went in with just the intention of window shopping, but I walked out with 2 action-figures for incredibly fair prices. Plus, they are jam-packed with comics, statues, action-figures, and posters. A humble little store with a big heart! Also, 10/10 for the cats that were hanging out around the store.
A small little comic book store but they have an amazing selection and found excellent what I was looking for
Since my first visit I knew this place was special. Though small, the customer service here is what keeps me visiting week after week. The owners are well-versed in comics and I always enjoy their input and suggestions. I took a long break from comics. I was intimidated from missing over 4 years worth of stories. I had never collected single issues before (mostly volumes) and wasn’t sure where to start. But the owners were kind enough to help me setup several subscriptions that have not disappointed me one bit. Even newbies will feel welcome here. Anything I’ve needed, they’ve ordered if it was possible. They are responsive, kind, and wonderful to work with. I’ve visited every comic shop in El Paso, but Black Sheep will always be my first choice for comics. They also have some cool figures that make me spend more money than I should :)

Just wanted to thank Black Sheep Comics for the today's experience. We were searching for a specific comic line and found two stores via Google search that was within 10 minutes of where we were at the time. The first comic store had plenty of walk-around space, but the owner/operator was in the rear of the store with an 'only engage if approached' posture so we spent 4 minutes there and left. The second comic store, Black Sheep Comics, was a quaint and small establishment that maximized their space with current comics, statues, statuettes, novelties, nostalgic collectibles, and personal touches such as homemade brownies, cookies, and hand-made drawings. The owner/operator was very down to Earth and stayed directly engaged in conversations and inquiries the entire 25 minutes. Definitely a place to check back in from time to time and will definitely recommend to any and all new comic book collectors and those that want to explore miscellaneous nostalgia.
Cool place and definitely has a good catalog of comics but it is a bit unorganized but I like that. It has a charm that very few places get right, that being an indie, small, mom and pop shop made with passion and comic needs and that's what makes it special. Though I will say that the store is very hot and there is a strange smell where most of the comic books are. I know comic needs don't get the best repetition thanks to stereotypes of not showering, but that doesn't mean the store should follow that stereotype. Though it's a nice shop and definitely worth the visit. (Even if it looks super sketch) Side note: it would be nice if there was a way to order comic books online from the store or some method so you don't go there and hope that they have what you want. I'm not sure if you guys have something like this, but I forgot to ask the clerk when I went there.

Very small comic book shop in size but cute small business. Giving it 3 stars for the pet store smell. The cat urine odor was over powering and gave us a headache. The cats laying down outside the door should have been telling, i worry for the owners since prolonged exposure to cat urine can lead to respiratory issues later on but that is their business and i will respect how they choose to run it. Other than that smell, the prices were great, even had cute plants for sale and the cashier was very nice.

Super small, two-room comic store. Smells strongly of cat litter. Not wheelchair accessible, probably not even most walkers/rollators. Lots of "do not touch" signs, even on the bins of comics. Staff was quiet and polite, and we got what we came for.
Called in for a rough estimate on some collectibles, told me they were NOT buying anything at the moment. When I asked if they were even interested in what I was selling she told me to bring it in so she could see it, couldn't even tell me over the phone. I was only asking if they were "interested" in the collectible not how much its worth. Very low quality service. Nice shop though.
The lady working was friendly and helpful. The store is very tiny but I still found a few things. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because of the small selection, and the store smells like a cat litter box. The smell in there made me think the store used to be a pet shop or rescue.

A fairly small shop tucked away in the back of a strip mall of sorts. The "don't touch the comics" policy is odd and very restrictive for a comic shop, and they claimed to only have 6 short boxes of comics. The employee behind the register spent the entire time just staring at me and my friend. Felt like we weren't welcome, and that they just wanted us to leave. The only redeeming factor was that the shop had a few interesting toys, but we didn't purchase anything.

I recently visited this shop since I came from out of town. However, I was greeted by a strong odor of cat pee. I keep my cats clean, however, I worry if their cats are hygenic since the smell overpowered my nostrils. Would not recommend either since the ladies behind the counter were rude and did not allow me to touch the comics. STAY AWAY!!!
After visiting this store, I felt compelled to leave a review with some honest, constructive criticism — though judging by the owners’ defensive replies to other reviews, I doubt they’ll take it that way. Every negative comment seems to be met with hostility or deflection rather than accountability. First, the smell. The store reeks of cat litter and urine — unmistakably so. The owners have cycled through every excuse imaginable: Scentsy burners, the gym next door, mold, outdoor cats, indoor cats that “don’t use the litter box,” and now supposedly “feral cats.” Anyone who’s ever owned a cat knows exactly what that smell is. The inconsistency in their explanations alone speaks volumes. Second, the customer service was terrible. The woman working there was curt, dismissive, and clearly irritated to be dealing with customers. It’s one thing to have an off day, but it’s another to make your guests feel unwelcome. Based on other reviews, this isn’t an isolated incident. It’s unfortunate, because the shop could have potential — but until the owners learn to accept feedback without making excuses and address the odor and attitude problems head-on, I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else waste their time either.
