We celebreted my mom's birthday and had a party of 22. They made sure we like the seating, where music wasn't too loud. Excellent service, and delicious food. I highly recommend it!
I've passed by many times and always wanted to try it. We went on a Sunday and they had a buffet. The buffet was good alongside the service and atmosphere this was definitely a good choice.
Service was great. Food taste amazing! Overall great experience
Great Food went there on for the Breakfast buffet yesterday. Real nice place. Nice people very friendly staff koodos to you all being so nice. The Buffet was real good a lot to choose from you can make it an all day thing there. There was a waiter Eric very cool attentive smiled a lot made us feel comfortable. Good experience - Went back in the afternoon for Mariachis.
I had a dinner party for my mother's 85th birthday and it turned out fantastic. The servers were great; very accommodating to my every need, and went out of their way to please. The food was excellent, and everyone liked each of the selections. I received many compliments, but of course, the credit goes to the servers and cooks. Thank you for making me look good. I would recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a good resturant to host a party.
To begin with....the live entertainment was awesome! From country, old time Rock and Juan Gabriel. The food was phenomenal! The tampiqueña had a 7 oz piece of fajita (Arrachera). It was mesquite grilled, medium rare and amazing flavor. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good Fajitas. This is El Paso I'm sure there are plenty of good places but I'm glad we picked this one on the way to Houston.
Loved it 😊 live entertainment is excellent 👍
Excellent food and service. My spanish is minimal at best, and my servers' english was only slightly better, but that didn't stop the quality of this restaurant from shining through. The night I visited was graced with an extremely talented performer who sang english and Spanish lyrics. Highly recommend !
Delicious food!!! The place is beautiful and they have great music. The service was also very good. Our server was very attentive and friendly. I will definitely return and recommend to everyone.
Rest is well decorated. Service is great. Super clean. Some days they have live music. When I went there Wednesday a guy was playing the guitar. The atmosphere was perfect. I ate tacos and they were just ok. I will go again.
What a place to close the night off listening to Inolvidable play all kinds of good music. The place is very nice , fancy and cozy. Drinks are priced right and i have heard their lunch specials are bomb. Live music all week and Inolvidable band on Saturday nights from 1100 to closing. Will definitely be back many times to have lunch, dinner and enjoy good music.
Great place to enjoy a delicious meal with your loved ones. I’ve never brought anyone here that had a complaint. The atmosphere is really nice and staff is always friendly.
The quality of the food is excellent at an affordable price!!
I love live music but I have sensory issues. Today I didn't need my noise canceling earbuds. The guitar soloist who sang made it enjoyable and comfortable. I could talk with my family and enjoyed the entertainment. The staff was so attentive and polite. The food was delicious. I celebrated my birthday here and I was not disappointed. I will return again to try the breakfast.
Went to celebrate a birthday. Made a reservation for 6 but my mother (birthday girl) invited additional guests, so party increased to 12... Manager was extremely accommodating and helpful. Food was great! Prices were good. Live music and ambience was excellent! Great place to celebrate a special occasion.
The food is delicious and the Live music and show by The Band INOLVIDABLE is world class. The owners Estela and Jose are always there to welcome and provide you a superb service.
Stopped here for dinner based on a google search before work and I have to say that it was by far the best recommended restaurant I have tried since arriving in El Paso. I was amazed at how great the food tasted. The little tray of salsa, guacamole, and pico de gallo was perfect and even though the chilè was milder than I'm used to the flavor alone had me loving it. My entrée, I ordered the Asado de Puerco, was out of this world! Sorry mom, sorry grandma but this is the BEST BEST BEST I have ever had! The corn tortillas, rice and beans were freshly made too! Cuñados is simple, elegant, has an amazing staff and even more amazing food!
The food had great seasoning. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Music was great. Definitely recommend.
It was my first time going there. The food was great!! The person that was singing made the ambiance beautiful! The service was great! I went on a Thursday there were only girls. We had fun!!!
We arrived at the restaurant after landing from El Paso International Airport on Valentine’s Day. The wait was short, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I ordered the tortilla soup, while my husband opted for the enchiladas and chile plate, which we decided to share with our little one. The portions were just right, ensuring that everyone had a satisfying meal after our long flight.
Highly recommend this place, I love there buffet
It was amazing, very welcoming and the live music was a plus, and when there wasn't live music there was a playlist playing it was a great experience! We will definitely be going back! And they even have a kids menu and the portions are just right!!!
Honesty love this place, each time we come we enjoy the live music the food and the vibes!
VERRRRY impressed with this place. Keep in mind that I'm ONLY rating it for Sunday Brunch. Food is excellent, service is AWESOME, coffee is perfect, and the atmosphere is also awesome. The only thing I can ask is that they make it a little cooler in there. It's a little too hot, but other than that, what a great hangout for a Sunday! Oh, and best of all, the price was $18 per person?!! Crazy good price!
Great atmosphere food was great and service as well
I had a great experience at Los Cuñados. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered several different dishes so we could try a variety of items, and every single plate was a hit. Everything we tried was full of flavor and clearly made with care. We also ordered refried beans and guacamole to share at the table, and both were excellent. The guacamole was fresh and very well seasoned, but the refried beans really stood out. Hands down, they are the best refried beans I have ever had in El Paso. On top of the great food, the restaurant itself is very nice and welcoming. The place is beautiful, the atmosphere is great, and the live music adds a perfect touch that makes the experience even better. This is definitely a spot I would recommend and will be coming back to again.
One of the best breakfast buffets that I have seen in El Paso! Servers were great and all the food was delicious. So glad we decided to have my Dad's birthday breakfast there! Loved the live music!
Great place for dine & wine. Light set up is elegant, tables are spaced, live music was good just a tad bit loud for my taste. All I would like is to have the music as background and not have to try to talk loud… use the music as background and it would be great!
This was a pleasant surprise. I came in from out of town and wanted to meet friends for dinner and drinks. I looked up different options and opted for this restaurant. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant. They had live music and we enjoyed it very much. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Great place to listen to/appreciate music. Tonight we heard "Dueto Habana", which we've heard before-- great Salsa and Tropical music. Also heard INOLVIDABLE-- a band that plays at 10 pm to closing that was FANTASTIC!! They play all kinds of genres to please most tastes in music. They are so lively, they even get the patrons to get up and DANCE! We plan to go back soon and often!! As usual, the food/service is good!! You may want to try their nachos with steak! Can't go wrong for good food AND entertainment! :-)
My wife and I really enjoyed our visit to Cuñados. The place looks amazing, the staff and service is great, and the food is delicious. Also, they have live music and it was amazing. Trust me, visit and you will really enjoy it. They have times and dates online and at the restaurants for the live music shows and they are all great.
First time at Cuñados Restaurant and had a great experience. We actually attended a Baptism reception there and had the buffet. Though the place was extra packed, the food was plentiful and always warm. The service was excellent and the staff was great. The manager would always walk around and made sure everyone was good. One thing the Manager did that impressed me is something I have not heard or seen done in a restaurant before..He would once in a while go up to the servers and tell them what a great job they were doing. That alone was Awesome!! I highly recommend this restaurant. The picture attached if of the arrangements inside the restaurant.
The food was mediocre at best for the price. The service could have been way better. Music was good. Came on a Sunday and they had a live singer, which was good.
Good food and nice presentation of food. Nicely decorated locale. Several salsas are served: two red, a green and Pico de Gallo. It did take a while to get someone to sit us at a table. However music is excessively loud. If you plan on having a meeting or conversation, this is definitely not the place. But then again, it may be because of our arrival time, 4 pm. It may be that earlier in the day the restaurant is not as loud? Something to check on if you're planning a lunch meeting.
Very nice ambiance. We had chicharrones & small shrimp cocktail. Both were very good, but the chicharrones were not as meaty & original as we had previously had a few years back. A mariachi singer was entertaining & he was good. Highly recommend this restaurant! 👍👍👍
This place was surprisingly good. We got the tripitas as an appetizer for the table and they were made to perfection. The asadero burger was seriously delicious! It was made perfectly, it was big, and it didn't fall apart like they do in a lot of to these "gourmet burger" places. The fries were crispy and seasoned right. My wife got the green enchiladas and they had a really good taste but they did lack cheese on top. Green chicken enchiladas good... CHEESY green chicken enchiladas great! There was 8 people in our party and all the dishes looked good...The presentation on the food is really good and the price isn't bad overall. Cons... I know it was a Monday but the service could've been better. The waitress did a great job considering she was taking care of 8 tables alone. This is where the manager needs to step up and step in to help. Overall.... I recommend this place. The options are good, the food is great, the entertainment female singer was awesome and the restaurant is very nice and clean.
Went for Sunday brunch. Great Mexican breakfast food buffet. A mimosa comes in the price, and the Mexican foods were great. Some were salty, but overall, I was pleased. The American food options could use some work. The music was nice and the setting is upscale.
Live music was nice but a bit too loud.
The Chile en Nogada was superb. The margaritas was Lemix. Not good. The guy singing was good.
Great food. Service was excellent by our waitress. Provided some great input on certain dishes that made it easier to pick a meal. Attentive with our drinks making sure they remained full and that other requests or needs were met promptly. Music was a bit loud hard to enjoy meal, especially when sitting at a small table and had to shout across in order to hear each other. Prizes were decent even for a holiday menu.
This was my first time at Cuñados. The atmosphere was very elegant. The service was a little slow due to the three extremely large parties that were happening simultaneously. The drinks were professionally prepared. The food was very tasty. I would definitely return when the servers are not so overwhelmed.
We are happy with the overall selection of eating here. We arrived during the clean-up from the weekend breakfast brunch from open-1pm, so the service was a little slower than normal (we assume). Nonetheless, the food was good and plenty. There was also a live singer for entertainment. There are sports playing on the large screen and children are welcome. Happy eating!
We had a delightful experience celebrating a bday at Cunados. Great atmosphere and our server worked her a** off for our large group. My hubby had the bacon wrapped shrimp and a variety of Mexican beer. I had an awesome mojito and enmoladas (so thankful they were willing to make them vegetarian for me). We shared the best queso fundido I’ve ever had. Left off one star because my meal could have been warmer and we waited a really long time to pay. Def coming back!
4 stars only because there wasn't more BUT it was all great food... I mean the flavor was on spot. The menudo wasn't spicy but it had a good flavor. Over all its a buffet and it's worth eating there to fill your stomach and be happy.... I was there for all you can eat menudo... But I couldn't help myself to try everything!!
Above average almost good, but fell short of high expectations. We didn't have a bad experience, but there is room for improvement. We ordered the arrachera steak (medium rare) and it was grilled right. It had a tasty marinade, but the steak may have needed to be left in the marinade longer. The charro beans were delicious and the baked potato was cooked properly which made it soft. They had music entertainment which was a pleasant surprise. Like many bars and other restaurants in El Paso, the speakers were full blast. If they had lowered the sound enough where one can carry on a conversation with people at one's table, would have made the experience 10 times better. The service was a little slow. We looked for our waiter two or three times for refills and other things. Soon after he got the hint that he needed to step it up and did.
The food was good. I had to send back the ice tea, it had a strange flavor. The live entertainment was very loud. Which made conversation almost impossible. The wait staff were less than attentive.
Went Sunday 24th of March, signed up on a 10 min. waiting time, hostess appeared to be seating the people she knew first and everyone who came in after us. Food wasnt great either. I have been at Cuñados before, maybe they were having a bad day and for the first time i wasnt impressed.
We tried this restaurant one night, and it was pretty good. The food tasted good and the service was good. The only thing was that there was a guy playing the guitar, and singing.... he was a little loud. This place is trying to be a both a bar, and a restaurant. They need to decide what their primary objective is, and then focus on that, which should be a restaurant, because the food was good. May come back to try it again.
We were somewhat disappointed with the 4 course brunch they have now. Long waits between servings. Quality of food left much to be desired. Wait staff looked exhausted running between tables. We missed the old style breakfast. The cost per person was not worth the experience. Will not be returning.
We went to this restaurant for their breakfast buffet. The price was a little expensive for okay food. They charge $15 per adult & $7 per child. I personally prefer Julio's Corona. They have the authentic Mexican pastries and the food is much better and their price is $12.50 per adult & $6.50 per child. It was good to compare sad to say but we aren't going back.
The breakfast buffet was just OK. Nothing was really good or stood out. The service and atmosphere were better than the food.
Service was fine, good during a busy section so no major complaints. Food was also decent but way to overpriced for the quality given, and the kitchen had quite a bit of trouble making a fish without salt, had to be done a couples times. The place itself is quite nice, along with fun and engaging live performances, other than for a drink to see the entertainment not a place I'd willingly go to alone.
Absolutely the blandest Mexican food I have EVER had in my life. Y soy Mexicana. Had their tacos de carne asada and it came with NOTHING. No cilantro or onion, not even a límon. Just dry tasting meat thrown into a tortilla. I loved the decor as live music was played while guests dined, but the atmosphere of the staff felt off. One poor waitress doing the actual attending while the rest chat it up with what I assume were their regulars. At one point a woman was chatting up a table next to our party and while that is fine, what I had a problem with is she was literally bumping us with her butt due to leaning on their table. Wished she at least leaned where she wouldn't have been in our way in such an awkward spot. No desire to come back here. Si sabes comida Mexicana de verdad, este lugar es una desgracia.
When you walk in you will find that it's a very nice looking place with live music and ambiance. The food on the other hand was not what I accepted. I ordered the Fajitas and unfortunately, they do not come sizzling to your table. The meat was a bit flavorless nothing that stands out. It comes with beans, avocado, and sour cream. The beans taste like canned beans but with a hint of let's disguise them and hope no one notices. My wife had the tampiqueña. The cheese and green chile toppings were put on the side purposely with barely any cheese. So yeah we were not impressed with the food. Prices on entrees are high so you might feel cheated that you spent so much on this quality of food.
A little dissapointed. I had been to their establishment years ago at the montwood location and have a fond memory of the occasion. This time however left a lot to be desired. Our server was frustrated and rude. They close the kitchen at 10 PM on a Saturday. Well, they keep a portion open with 3-4 dishes on the menu available. 3 out of the four being appetizers. Ive had better. The one pleasurable aspect was the entertainment. Live music with a witty singer who would get the crowd involved. Probably wouldn't go back any time soon.
First time going and not a good experience. The family was exited to try their brunch which is serve until 1:30 pm we got there at 12:45. We got the brunch menu from a nearby table and the waitress took the menus away saying that we were not going to have enough time for brunch and that’s why they gave us regular menus. I told her we had more than 30 minutes and she ignored the comment completely. Another table got there after us and they were able to still get the brunch 😡
The food was average at best. Definitely not a good idea to go in large groups. It was my first time there and was extremely unhappy with the service. The servers were either overwhelmed or not trained to help large parties adequately. Others who were there with me had way better experiences than the one we had (on Aug 5) before when they had gone.
Everything was good... The service and waiters are great... Food is good...The only bad thing in this place is the lady owner... No manners, she could have a lil more manners w dealing w customers... we celebrated a birthday and we had a lot of people but she got mad for that... She should learn on how to deal w customers. If she would have said things correctly, we would have done things differently. Not celebrating any birthdays in this place again. Very upsetting moment. My mother got upset w her and she didn't need to. Worst service from her ever!!
I really wanted to like this place but it was mediocre. The queso fundido con rajas was good, I didn't really care much for the corn tortillas. I had the Cuñados Plato which came with two carne asada tacos (these were good and the small corn taco tortillas were very good, too) a red enchilada (meh) and a chile relleno (it was dry) the rice and beans were good, but sincerely the food tasted like it was made with old oil. I do not recommend the flan or the churros either, they were not good. I feel I paid way too much money for what I received. Oh, the limonada was delicious and my friend had a margarita (with limonada and not the margarita mix) and she loved it. I most likely won't return. The staff was kind.
Rude staff discriminate against elderly. Leaving and never coming back.
Worst place I have ever ate at in El Paso. Took my wife to eat tonight and ordered shrimp cocktails. After waiting over 30 minutes we received are shrimp cocktails. The odor from the shrimp was horrible. Had a rotten smell. The avocado when I flipped the slices over had a black hole with mold growing on it.. let the waitress know there would be no way I would eat rotten shrimp and to take it back. She said she would let the kitchen know and be right back. After another 20 minutes she returned with the.check and we were being charged $50 for two shrimp cocktails we were unable to drink and two lemonadas. What a joke. Management stayed behind the counter with nothing to say. The chef never even came out to apologize for serving rotten food. This place is a joke.
The worst mexican food I've ever had. Lousy service by pretty much every one in the place. The only positive was the live music. We arrived at 6:30 reservation, were served by 8:00, the place wasn't even that busy, a couple birthday groups and small families. My food was cold and it tasted like yesterday's leftovers...never again.
We walked in We walked out For a Saturday - we weren't feeling this vibe today. They were serving buffet on a Saturday & we didn't feel like having to be getting up to get our food. Maybe next time
Went for my mother's birthday. The restaurant only had about 15 people in it when I walked in. A man behind the bar sees me walk in and doesn't even bother to greet me, he just stared at me without getting someone to sit us or so much a smile. I waited 5 minutes until someone came to the front to sit us because we had a reservation. Later that evening as I wanted to pay the waiter took about 20 minutes to come by. I motioned to the same man at the bar who was looking at me and talking to our waiter for the tab and he just stared some more and turned his back. Our waiter noticed how the man acted and rushed to our table to help. We found out the rude man is the owner. The food was subpar for the price and I can see why the restaurant was pretty empty. Customer service by the owner himself is terrible so his staff will obviously follow suit. Never going back to line a rude owner's pockets with money. There are plenty more Mexican restaurants in town with great food, good prices and great customer service.
Low quality food. Exceletnt service but food is not worth it the price.
Decided to give this place a second chance the first time we thought it was just a bad day but no… the food isn’t good for what it’s priced, no flavor. Not to mention BOTH my kids chicken nuggets were RAW. The server and the people were nice but the food I don’t recommend.
My family and I we went on Sunday 1/13/2024 and had a bad experience bc the buffet was out of food. We ask for barbacoa and they were out and the buffet was not even over. I was embarrassed bc I had told my family that they had barbacoa and other choices. We were not happy at all and Don’t plan to go again and I’ll tell my friends about the incident and not to go there bc they don’t have enough food on the buffet.
My family and I visited this restaurant yesterday (May 7, 2022) I had great expectations for this restaurant and was greatly disappointed with their food considering their high priced food I expected WAY MORE! The food is not good at all. The beans taste sour, either they were bad or they are dehydrated beans where you just add water, the rice is super dry and no flavor. The red enchiladas are dry and no flavor. The flautas to be honest tasted like frozen ones. The only reason for the 1 star I gave was because the waiter was nice and we got seated right away other than that it was disgusting and not worth the $154 we paid for at all.
Haven’t been here in years and unfortunately came on Mother’s Day very busy day. We waited 2 hrs and when we were going to be seated apparently this lady called la jefa was very rude as we were walking to be seated she was rude and told me in a loud voice that it wasn’t our table. I was never treated this way specially if it was the owner. I had some people visiting so I had no choice to stay but will never be back. Very disappointed!!
We have eaten here for years but as of late the quality has gone down. Very disappointing service we had today (5/31). My mother is very sensitive to spicy food, and they are pretty good at accommodating her. She ordered the ceviche and told the lady not to have it spicy at all. She ordered it like that before with no spice with no problem but this time the lady came out with her plate and my mom quickly pointed out that there was clearly topped with spice the lady said it was ketchup! My mom tasted it and it was spicy and I tasted it and wow that was a spicy, which I enjoy but my mother is very sensitive to it. When let our waiter know, she said no that it was ketchup and just was basically gaslighted my mom and making her feel like it was her fault for it tasting like that. She didn’t was to resolve the plate and just brought her more limes. I know she didn’t put in the order right and didn’t want to upset the chefs with a remake. She was just very rude and condescending about it. My dad and cousin orders medium steaks and they came out well done and she just kept saying that’s how medium steaks are. Just a very disappointing experience. The only good thing they had for themselves was the live music other than that the service and food was horrible for the price.
Worst decision made for Mother's Day dinner. I order the poblano chicken and orchata and they had neither. Ended up ordering the Aracherra plate $29 dlls for a plate that had a baked potatoe a side of charro beans ,a side guacamole and a couple of green onions. The only thing that had flavor on my plate were the green onions. By the time my tortillas arrived my plate was as cold as my tea..My wife ordered the aracherra tacos, came with sliced avocado side of charro beans and same thing her tacos had no flavor no taste...Over all just a big never again...😔
The poor waitress was by herself attending half of the restaurant while the owners did nothing but stand behind the bar area. The Sunday brunch from 9 to 10:30 did not replace the empty trays. The food was not good nor varied. I do not recommend it at all for the price since there are better Mexican food restaurants in the area.
If 1/4 of a star was an option that's what I would have given this establishment. When a reservation was made drinks were discussed; "happy hour" was going to be honored. When we arrived we asked about the "happy hour". The manager refused to honor what had been promised. The atmosphere was AWFUL; so loud that you couldn't hear yourself think. The tables are close together; very crowded. The food is overpriced. For the portions they serve, be prepared to either eat something before you go there or after you leave. I have a large family so I thought this would be a great place to celebrate. After this experience, I will definitely NOT be recommending this place.
Yesterday I called for a reservation and they told me that they weren't making reservations. This evening we went and asked me if we had a reservation, I told them what the told me yesterday. They gave us a table but they never went to us. We waited 15 minutes. We left the restaurant and I don't thik we will go back.
Dec 13 2025 it was open to the public then we found inside that they have private event but they can still offer us services and the table was in the corner very hidden we left
Jose was really attentive and kind, but we didn’t like the food. The plates are missing flavor.. it’s not tasty, any plate that we order. We found a hair in our food, that’s a mistake that makes you not wanna eat . The place is amazing, it’s really beautiful but… I wouldn't go back for the food.
