Great food!!! Everything my family and I had was excellent. The vegetable lomein was my favorite! The orange chicken was delicious. Great size portions! Will definitely be ordering again. I liked that the driver called to confirm the address and let me know she was on her way!
Good food, very well served. I ordered butterfly shrimp which had a lot of shrimp unlike other places where they fill the dish with veggies. Hot and sour soup was delicious and pork wontons were crispy and good. This is my second time ordering from this place and I hope they continue providing good quality food and service. Highly recommend it.
This place has great fresh Chinese food. I discovered it during Covid. I ordered weekly and fell in love with the freshness and flavor AND PORTIONS!! Latley, however, it seems like the food is just rushed and put together with a slight change in flavor (perhaps because it seems not as fresh or even reheated) and significantly reduced portions... hopeful that it gets better. I still order from there at least once a month because good Chinese restaurants are hard to find here 😞
Disclaimer: the five star rating is for takeout and delivery only. Royal Pandas is one of the few restaurants near us that has almost authentic Chinese cuisine. If you are looking for an easy lunch/dinner choice, this is the place. You get more for your money than Panda Express and the food is actually really good!
The food was really really good. Everything came out like it was just made, portions were big, and everything tasted great. Our server and staff was very attentive, and made the experience even better. The food is kind of pricey for just me and my wife we spent $40 but we did get shrimp and noodles. Either way I definitely recommend this restaurant!
This place is the number 1 spot for Chinese food on the westside of El Paso . Love this place always great service
Great food, Great service, friendly staff. If your looking for a neighborhood restaurant Royal Panda is a must try if your craving Chinese. Their Dragon and the Phoenix dish is excellent.
We ordered from Royal Pandas for the first time, and we were absolutely impressed! The food was beyond delicious—everything tasted so fresh and flavorful. We tried a variety of dishes, and each one was cooked to perfection with great attention to detail. The portions were generous, and the presentation was beautiful, even for takeout. It was a fantastic experience, and we’re thrilled to have found a go-to spot for Chinese food so close to my house. If you’re looking for authentic flavors and top-notch service, Royal Pandas is the place to order from!
Second time here, service was absolutely great the young lady and guy that took care of us were very courteous and attentive they brought everything we could have needed, got our refills and to go box. The orange chicken was good, general taos was good, and friend rice was good they could add a bit more chicken 😉. The steamed dumplings were really good too. Will definitely be back I have no complaints at all.
My husband and I love this place!! Sometimes when we want to get out we'll dine in, the servers are always super sweet and continually checking on us. Sometimes we order in, we're only about a half mile away and it seems like the food is always hot and fresh. The food is always delicious our new favorite is the jalapeno wings. This is my only spot for Chinese cuisine!!!
Always top notch when I come, servers even remember us and always happy to see us!
Best fried rice and lo mein in all El Paso, Texas!!!! The salt and pepper shrimp is astonishing!!!! Great food great service!!!
Loved stumbling on to this restaurant. It got great Google reviews, so we gave it a try. We were not disappointed. The food tasted delicious and there was plenty for me to take home my leftovers. Love that!! Most, if not all meals come with your choice of 3 different types of soup. They also bring a bowl of these chip type noodles, they were so good we asked for more. You get your money's worth here for sure!! Can't wait to return.
Our favorite Chinese takeout place. We order and get our food fast every time. It's still hot when we get home. Nothing is from reheat, all is made fresh to order. We haven't had a sour spicy soup like the one we get here, we enjoy all that's on their menu.
Delicious! Our new favorite spot! We've picked up food multiple times and its always great. Everything tastes fresh with quality ingredients. The amount of food for the price is excellent. The beef is tender. The broccoli is fresh. The spring rolls are crispy. Everything seems to be prepared fresh.
Valeria was very nice and attentive food was great...
It took me a while to find a good chinese food spot I liked but this is the one.
The service was excellent and so was the food. The building was very clean. The prices were reasonable. One thing that was different is they have a lunch special everyday from 11-2:30.
Loved this place. It was my first time here they got real friendly staff, great food, and good prices. I will definitely come visit more often.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Everything from the food, service, to atmosphere were amazing. The chef is incredibly nice and you can taste the pride he has in his work. The waiter was also very kind and accommodating. If you like a bit more spice you can also request your dishes extra spicy. Definitely try this place out. Also not many restaurants in El Paso are open past 9 pm on weekdays and they close at 9:30 during the week so it’s perfect for those late night cravings. Will definitely be coming here regularly from now on. They also mentioned they deliver locally at no additional cost which is great because my money stays local (cost of meal and direct tip to the driver.)
What a pleasant surprise this gem was. Yes itß à strip mall, hole in the wall, but nothing beyond the atmosphere and decor isn't fine dining at fast food prices. Started with the Wonton soup which was beefy rich broth. So good I had to try the Hot and Sour soup. I was blown away. Best I've ever eaten in my 63 years rambling on 3 Continents. Kung Pao and Sesame Chicken. We ended up with full bellies, two full plates of takeaway, an additional quart of Soup. If you are looking for date night ambiance, not the place. If your focus is on great Chinese food at a more than fair price, look no further. One last comment. Great service.
Great hidden gem....food was delicious, service was quick and friendly. Very reasonably priced.
It was good Chinese food. I got the meal for three people, it was more than enough with some leftover. Good overall, the only "negative" is that I couldn't pick the entrees. But the entrees were a good selection.
Hands down my favorite food in town. Everything we ordered was delicious. No complaints here. Service was also great. I didn’t catch her name but she was really kind and hospitable.
Food is awesome, made right when you order it, customer service is great in either Spanish or English, you won't be able to find a place with this great Chinese food and excellent service anywhere in El Paso, Las Cruces, or even Mexico.
This place makes u feel at home. Victor and his daughter are amazing people. The daughter was our server and she is wonderful. Always making sure we had everything we needed. Victor is very polite and welcoming. Took the time to conversate with us. The food is amazing and well served. Thank you guys!!!!!! We will be coming back as before. Hands up.
Always a good delivery experience! The food is so delicious we love the honey walnut shrimp 🍤 😋
I had a great experience at this Chinese restaurant. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served hot. The portions were generous and definitely worth the price. I especially loved how well-seasoned everything was without being too oily. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick even though it was busy. The restaurant itself was clean and comfortable, making it a nice place to eat. I would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone craving good Chinese food.
We had combination chop suey and Happy family combination plate, 3 proteins. Very flavorful and large portions. Soups are included when dining in, egg drop and wonton was also on point! Bbq ribs were also sooo delicious! Our waitress super nice! We will definitely be coming back! Keep up the great job!
I’ve been here a few times and everything has always been perfect. The food is great and there are so many options (even vegetarian options too!), they serve you a soup if you dine in and the waiters are super nice. If you’re hesitant about going, take this is as the sign to go, I assure this will be your favorite Chinese place like it is mine.

Went during lunch when they have smaller lunch portions. They have so many options! My friend had to tell me to pick my protein first (chicken, beef, or shrimp) so I could narrow down the options. I had the coconut shrimp which had big chunks of pineapple as filler so you don't get a lot of shrimp. Nonetheless, I had rice and an egg roll with the lunch option so I had plenty of food. My friends were very pleased with their dishes. The service was good, too, in my opinion. We were seated immediately, ordered our drinks, ordered when the drinks came and we were asked if everything was alright once during our meal and again toward the end. I'll be back again to try another dish. Thanks, Royal Pandas!
Overall a very cute little place hidden away. I put four stars because whenever u get beef or chicken, half of it is kind of chewy when it shouldn’t be. There’s crispy, and then there’s…well, chewy. lol. But! It’s a nice spot for lunch, and it’s never all that busy. Staff is very nice, and they’re bilingual. :)
I'll say, we ordered noodles but received rice instead, they kindly made the order right and allowed us to keep the rice - SO even though we didn't order it - I must say that the rice is Amazing. Customer service is great. Atmosphere is great. The noodles are weren't my favorite bc they're really thick... And the orange chicken - it tasted delicious but it was a little hard, maybe over fried? Either way, I'd go back, especially for the rice. I don't like rice but this one is great.
Never had complaints about the food, it's good!! But oh my, the prices have been raised!!! I used to buy the 2 people dinner package , but it went up almost 10 dlls!!!
Food tasted decent. Not the best, definitely not the worst. I had the coconut shrimp, which as is on the menu is just a sweet bomb...asked them to add in green bell peppers....really helped. .. Was actually pretty tasty. The hot n sour soup tasted a little sweet and maybe a cpl of days old, but was still okay. Overall, a lot of food for the buck...great prices and a lot of food!
I ordered two lunch specials and a small egg drop soup for delivery. The food was tasty. The coconut shrimp was in some kind of thick sauce (gravy consistency) with pineapple chunks and it was very sweet. The shrimp tasted good with the sweetness but it was more sauce and pineapple than shrimp. I also got beef lo-mein it was tasty I did like it. The soup needed soy sauce for more flavor. From other reviews I saw that there might not be flavor and it was bland until I added the soy sauce. They did not give fortune cookies which was a huge bummer. That’s always a special something you look forward to at the end of the meal. I might order from here again
I preorder this at 10 am for delivery for 4pm. Got here early was perfect. Needless to say The food was not that great. We ordered beef and broccoli sweet and sour chicken and the egg rolls 63.bucks right seems like a lot but I don't live in town so I was Happy to pay plus it was supposed to be a treat for my Mom. What a treat broccoli soup with popped meat I mean The beef and broccoli was over cooked it was all mushy didn't hold no texture almost like soup. Im not in the mood for soup being 90+ outside. I called immediately during my dinner. And this is what the young man told me. (Oh thank you I'll tell ME cook that, have a good day. )(And hung up ) I'm not making this up I wish I was. Disappointed in them I talked them up to everyone I know. I won't be back sorry once something goes wrong I just won't even try again ever
Exactly what you would expect from a typical Chinese restaurant. I was a little disappointed in the egg drop soup (extremely viscous and lacking flavor), but everything else was quite good. A nice touch was the fresh wontons they gave us with the egg drop soup and because we got a large, they gave us a TON. We also got sesame chicken, steamed dumplings, and vegetable egg foo young. The veggies that came with the sesame chicken were particularly good. Everything priced reasonably. I’d go here again.

Thought I found a Chinese restaurant that had great egg foo young. Have never had the patty dipped and fried in a batter. Not very good. Wife had sweet and sour chicken and loved it. I’m still looking for a good egg foo young.
My husband and I come here very often we always get the usual but today My husband wanted to try something different he got the Teriyaki Chicken and it was very salty then this lady comes out of nowhere saying that she was eating the Teriyaki chicken thqt he returned and that it was not salty... like what was her point in telling us all of that , the waitress did offer to change the plate , now like I said we always come here, now we have never been charge for refills and as we are paying our bill now they had charging us the refills to our drinks. Not coming back

Didn't like the orange chicken. The pieces are cut too small and therefore the chicken becomes too dry and hard while cooking. It was like chicken jerky. The fried rice was OK but a little more egg while cooking would have been nice. The portions are good tho.
The service is top notch! Excellent customer service from the waiters Jonathan I didn’t catch the girls name but excellent ! The egg drop soup was good . But you know the chicken teriyaki was not it . The chicken tasted like the chicken had been old or something . Like when you have it frozen for too long . It was bad .my husband had the Taos chicken and it tasted the same . Idk the “lo mein” was like linguine pasta . It was also too too salty. 😞 idk if we went on the wrong day or something … the hype on the reviews was toooo hyped !

I went to this establishment and ordered the 11.45 combo and they charged me 27 dollars and claimed for a combo rice and entree which I just wanted the regular rice it came with. When I got home I saw that I was given rice that had shrimp and other things I am allergic to. I called the establishment when o saw the charge and they wanted me to return the rice. I live 20 minutes away btw. And why would they want food back that could have been tampered with?! Disgusting! Be careful eating there because you don’t know if returned food is placed back in with the food you are to consume. They were so unprofessional and rude for their mistake. BUYER BEWARE!
Ooof. I don't know if all these five star reviews are fake, if they're mostly friends with the staff or if these people have never had good Chinese food? We ordered online and picked up. The parking lot in front of the restaurant was filthy (flag 1) and the interior was no better. Okay, most Chinese takeout restaurants in America aren't known for their interior appeal so I wanted to cut them some slack. The food was 10 minutes late coming out, but it was a large order so again, I cut them some slack. Then we got the food home and ate it and meh, no more slack to be given. The chicken in the General Tso's Chicken dish was barely there. It was just batter upon batter. The Egg Foo Young patties looked more like egg frittatas with no vegetables inside, no noodles, nada. The shrimp & sauce were OK but my dog wouldn't even eat the patties so I had to throw them all out as inedible. A small container of fried rice contained about 5 peas, 4 carrots and 0 eggs. It might as well have been brown rice. One positive - the soups were good. The staff was nice but in my opinion, there are NO actual Chinese owners or cooks. I think a local Tex-Mex person worked in a Chinese restaurant somewhere for about a week, had the idea that he/she could do the same thing on their own and went about approximating the Mexican version of Chinese food based on their visual interpretations. I guess we'll keep searching for good (or at least decent) Chinese in El Paso!
I don't understand how this place has 4.4 stars because this was the worst Chinese food I have ever had. The chicken was overcooked and hard to chew, the spring rolls were gelatin-like on the inside, the low mein was underwhelming. How do you mess up low mein?!
You guys have to fire the lady who answers the phone she gets upset and starts mistreating people if they don't speak Spanish not everyone is bilingual my friend moved here from Rhode Island and he tried three times to get food from there the two times on the phone she was rude to him because he couldn't speak Spanish and then he tried going in person and she was there as well and treated him with lots of discrimination that woman needs to be taken out of there I also stopped ordering from there because she is just completely rude even if I speak to her in Spanish I'm sure I'm not the only person that's complained about her we're going to stop ordering from there until she's gone
I gave it another try I was hungry, tired so I stopped by ordered shrimp lo mein was too salty and top order was steaming hot delicious but bottom half seems like it was filled with left overs noodles they were bits & pieces no shrimp watery! The Happy Family was very salty , beef was imitation not good beef I don't recommend it ,it isn't Asian foods. I will never eat there again, I don't recommend it at all . It's not worth it I threw almost all of it away! Much rather make my own
