By far the best seafood tacos we have ever had. We got the yellowtail, the scallop, the shrimp and the tuna. Went back the next day for the tuna burger, outstanding. Be aware, when they run out of the catch, they run out.

Hands down best seafood tacos a la plancha in La Ventana, if not all of Baja. Only open for lunch and they frequently run out of fish, so get here early. A delightful new menu item is the salad, which is also excellent!

I looked up to check their hours as I’ve been dreaming of their tacos and saw that someone left a one star review! I was incredibly confused and even more so when I saw what they are saying. I felt I had to respond. They complain that the Baja bites team is not safe with the coronavirus pandemic, but that is just plain false. The team wears masks constantly and the seating is all outside and has plenty of distance in between them. Baja bites is my favorite restaurant in La Ventana, and maybe even my favorite tacos of all time. You cannot go wrong with anything from this place and it offers a unique style of tacos in La Ventana. The owners are incredibly kind and friendly people and adhere to all standards. In the 9 years I have been coming to LV, Baja bites has always been a staple and one of the things I look forward to most. I’m astounded and dismayed that someone would leave such a review on such an amazing restaurant.

Probably my favorite taco in town? Very clean, simple tacos served with two different sauces, lime, pico. The Ahi was my favorite.

Best lunch in La ventana. Tacos are great. Recommend the hamachi or shrimp. Great sauces. Very popular. Nice patio to eat in the shade and chat or bump into friends. They have great peanut butter/chocolate cookies. Lentil soup is very good. I take all visitors here and they always love it.

The best place in town to eat lunch. We've been every single day of our visit, it's so good! The fish tacos are the best ever! I also love the organic salad. Locals and friendly tourists hot spot for sure. You shouldn't visit El Sargento/La Ventana a without coming here a time or two. I just wish it was open for dinner!

Stopped here as I was passing through town. I got fish and shrimp tacos and they were amazing. The toppings they had are really good I particularly liked the garlic habanero oil. Its very spicy so use sparingly but has tremendous flavor. I will definitely be back b4 I leave.

The owners are kind and provide a fast service; despite being busy and a popular spot for good reason they always provide delicious food. My dog loves going for the special fish treat they give her.

Amazing! Chef Alex and Paula really took these tacos to another level! The Raw Tuna Hamichi with Wasabi was one of the best tacos I've ever had! The scallop Taco even Better 😅 the Homemade smokey Havenero sauce really topped it off as some of the best Fish tacos we have had! Friendly service with a smile makes it a must try spot in La ventana! We will be back! 🍻

This is definitely the best taco I’ve ever had in my whole life! And I have had a lot of tacos. Get the oriental style, Hamachi or tuna. The owners are just the sweetest people who are so meticulous with their cuts of fish and presentation. We live down the street and come here for lunch almost every other day!

Best tacos in all the land. 3rd day straight coming here. Not fried all grilled and perfectly cooked. My favorite were the shrimp and Tuna (wasabi, soy sauce and avocado) highly recommend trying it. They are all so fresh and delicious. The staff is very kind and warm as well. Will be coming back everyday until the day I leave La Ventana.

Best tacos period. I am there at least 3 times a week and get to feel good about it because it’s not the typical heavy, deep fried fish (which has its place and is delicious but not all the time). Their garnishes and sauces are on point. Emphatic thumbs up

The best fish tacos in town! My personal favorite is the fresh shrimp tacos, I've been eating lunch here everyday for the last week. The owners are very friendly (they remembered my name after just one introduction), service with a smile. There is sometimes a bit of a wait due to them being so popular, but it's well worth it. Make sure you try the habernaro and garlic oil - it's got a great kick! Be sure to bring your own drinks as they only serve food. Highly recommended!

Good flavor and great service

Very good tacos, Yellowtail, not fried just grilled fish. Not fancy, but there is good seating inside and out. You can bring your own drinks or buy some next door. We ate their several times in a week. It is a little hard to find, it is on the westside of the road but the sign is on the east side of the road.

The food is incredible! For tacos, the dough is light, not the traditional heavy taco dough. The protein is to die for. If you are a light eater this allows you to sample more than one protein. House Drinks are on the small side. Flan is divine! Don’t come near closing time because they snatch your plates and cups from your hand the moment you take your last taste as they prepare to close. Despite this indignity, this is a not-to-be-missed stop in the area.
