Update: returned again this year for lunch and the food was great and the staff were really nice to our young daughter. Updating to five stars! Small place inside but nice staff and food was enjoyable. We were here with six people and did combination lunch specials after a baseball tournament. Everything was hot and fresh.

They have great customer service over the phone. The food is too delicious and I'm glad to reorder again and again

It’s so hard to find a good Chinese food place. The server was on top of her stuff, we always had everything we needed and wanted. The food came out so hot and so quickly. The food was 10 out of 10. So freaking good, I’ll be dreaming about it. The prices were decent too for the quality of food. The restaurant was very clean, and the amount of people coming in for to go was ALOT of people! Highly recommend!

My family has been going here for years. The food is always delicious, generously portioned, and quickly prepared for takeout. Their catering has also been excellent, with food ready within 10 minutes of pick up time.

I love this place. I haven't been in years since I no longer live in or frequent Elk Grove as much. I finally had a chance to go again and enjoy lunch. I brought my man so he can try and shockingly he loves it too. I say shockingly because h doesn't eat Chinese Food & love it as much as I do but, I helped him figure out what he really likes and he didn't waste a drop of anything. We are both not the biggest fans of egg flour/flower soup my favorite is hot & sour soup but, that wasn't offered and I'm sure he would have liked it. I don't really care for the textures and not a huge fan of tofu but, we had a little bit. I like tgat he's open to trying new things. All in all it was a great lunch. The service and food is always great and they stay busy. I'm so happy they survived the pandemic.

The honey walnut shrimp was amazing, crunchy, saucy, and on point. However, the noodles had a strong burnt taste and the fried rice was super dry so I ended up not eating it. The cheese wonton didn't come with sweet and sour sauce. As for the honey garlic spareribs, it was extremely soggy, but the taste was great. The portion was large enough to actually feed 3 people, impressive.

Ok, the chow mein is really good. I personally don't like thin noodles so the thick noodles are good and they don't taste sweet. The Mongolian Beef, Beef Broccoli and Orange Chicken are also good. Nice portions for the lunch special. The only downside is the rice is a bit on the dry side. Other than that, really good place for a quick bite to eat.

Every restaurant has their own unique way of making the meals, Rose Palace has very delicious food and will return again and again for the delicious meals.

The Mongolian beef is wet and hardy, meaning it has good amount of fresh onion and green shallot, but it's not heavier than the beef. The cream cheese Ranggon fried decent, with a shrimp and egg roll. I ordered a sweet and sour pork ale cart and it was a lot but done well...(Enough for 3-4)

Say "excuse me"to have someone step aside, immediately greet and deal with a new customer so that they aren't waiting to find out their status of the order, and finally, all people to have a seat if it is going to be a while. Hopefully next Christmas will go smoother for them.

I asked for a shrimp chop suey to go. When I opened the box there was a chow mein instead. The dish was just noodles with a few shrimp. I won’t be back.
