Opiniones de Elm Roastery Elmhurst
I moved to the area a year ago. I’ve been going to Elm since day one and I’ve never been disappointed! Amazing people and amazing coffee with great quality food! Highly recommend it to anyone even if you’re just passing through. You can feel the passion for coffee in every cup! Love it! Keep it up!!!
Elm Roastery is my go to coffee shop. They roast their own coffee beans and it is so flavorful. I love all their sandwiches and they offer a variety of pastries that pair well with their drinks. And it is run by kind and loving people who care about the community. If you are in the area and like coffee, you need to check this place out
The coffee is incredible - especially the cold brew. The staff are very friendly, and the space has a zen-like atmosphere, yet upbeat - great playlist. Coffee cup CHEERS!
Solid food for 5–6 people everything was fast, tasty, and definitely worth it. We spent about $68 total on drinks and pastries for five people, which felt reasonable for the quality. The drinks were amazing! We tried the cookie butter hot chocolate matcha and the raspberry hot cocoa, and everyone loved their drink no complaints at all. My favorite pastries were the cinnamon roll and the scone. Everything was great, and the place was clean with a cool vibe.
Pulled up to Elm Roastery Cafe in Elmhurst like I was just grabbing a quick coffee… walked out feeling cultured, productive, and emotionally supported ☕️😤 This place is fancy but not trying too hard. Artisan coffee that tastes like it went to school, but priced like it still lives in Queens. Cozy, clean, plenty of seating (yes, even in the back), and somehow there’s always a spot—perfect for working, meetings, or pretending you’re working while eating pastries. Now let’s talk damage: • Teddy Bear Financier 🧸 — a teddy bear-shaped almond cake with chocolate accents. Cute? Yes. Manly? Surprisingly. Delicious? Absolutely undefeated. • Ham & cheese croissant — baked fresh daily, buttery, classic, zero notes. • Beef empanada — straight home run. No debate. • Cold brew — fresh, smooth, flavorful, and didn’t bully my stomach. Staff? Super kind, helpful, and actually happy to be there. Bathrooms? Clean enough to trust. Atmosphere? Warm, inviting, neighborhood gold. Elm Roastery is a major win for Queens. Come to work, come to chill, come to eat a teddy bear pastry and question your masculinity for 2 seconds before ordering another one. 📍83-30A Broadway, Elmhurst, Queens ☕️ Support good coffee. Support good vibes.
I LOVE Elm Roastery!! The coffee beans they roast and sell are delicious for my at-home espresso drinks, the baristas there are amazing so the drinks THERE are top notch, and the atmosphere inside is cozy. As people who have lived in Elmhurst for decades this is such a jewel of a place, one that you’d expect in a hipper/richer neighborhood, and it’s a testament to the founders that they wanted to give back something unique and special to our neighborhood. They do traditional cafe drinks and food especially well but also show the best of Asian flavors (ube cream puffs, matcha gingerbread lattes) etc. would recommend to ANYONE!!
This place is a wonderful addition to our neighborhood. The coffee is artisan and delicious. It's so fancy, but affordable. I love how accessible it is. I also love how there's always a seat available and it's a great place to work, have a meeting or just hang out with loved ones. I recommend this place to everyone I know and always choose this place as a meet up. And the staff is always super kind, helpful and considerate. I know the owners and their ethos and they have successfully created a wonderful community space for all.
This is one of those few, dynamic spots that offers delicious drinks as well as a communal atmosphere. Not once I've been here during After Hours that anything went awry. The bartenders curate a comfortable evening with thoughtful engagement. I've really gotten know to them because of their amiable and homey attitudes. My favorite drink is their signature Espresso Martini (as basic as that sounds, it's a really balanced bev). I recommend anyone in the neighborhood or the surrounding area that want a chill, fun vibe to come here during the day or the weekend nights.
Aug 19, 2025, This place is a gem. The service was great as well as the coffee I had and the pastries, cream puffs & cookie butter. The place is very clean as well as its bathroom. I will return in the future. I even purchased, Sumatra Gayo Mountain coffee from Indonesia. The staff very friendly and helpful.
Elm Roastery is hands down one of the best cafe’s I’ve ever visited👌🏾 the ambience, the food, the staff are all excellent! My husband and I went to check them out after attending New Life Fellowship in Elmhurst. I highly recommend coming on an empty stomach because their food is delicious 🙌🏾. Their empanadas are my absolute favorite: warm, crispy and tender…Today I ordered 3 to go so I could enjoy them again at home 😂 I also recommend their Avocado Toast with scrambled eggs and a side of Lox 👏🏾 10/10✨
Elm Roastery is a fantastic spot with a lot to offer! This spacious cafe has a wide selection of drinks and pastries, including unique seasonal items like their delicious ube-themed cakes and drinks. The bathrooms are clean, and there's even more seating available towards the back. If you're in the area, definitely try their coffee – it's excellent! Today marks their 2nd year anniversary, and they even celebrated by giving away coffee beans.
My go-to coffee shop when i’m in the area.I love the vibe of this place, as it feels like you’re actually in the city. I really love the interiors and it’s pretty spacious. Nice staff and they make really good lattes and matcha as well. Pastries and baked goods are always good and fresh. Highly recommend this place. Can’t wait to go back.
Cozy and inviting atmosphere with friendly baristas, free lemon water, and free Wi-Fi, making it a great spot to get work done. Takes all form of payments. Public restrooms are available, and I appreciate the small details like card games for socializing. I asked the barista for a sweet drink recommendation and went with the iced strawberry matcha with added syrup, which was a good choice for someone like me who doesn’t usually spend much on or know a lot about different drinks. As a craft coffee café, prices are a bit higher as expected but still competitive with similar businesses. Overall, it felt like a local treat to be there. I visited with a colleague and spent a few hours chatting over drinks. If you’re in the area and looking for good coffee or drinks, definitely check it out!
Elm Roastery is amazing!! The coffee was delicious, specially the pour over (not pictured here) and the cortado. The teddy bear financier was perfectly sweetened and delicious. The service was excellent, the baristas were knowledgeable and kind! The ambience of the place was also welcoming! There were fun party card games. There was also a surprising amount of seating, conducive for work/study. Also, the bathroom was so clean and well decorated! Overall, great experience! 10/10!
Normally I love this place however lately the latte art has been lazier. I ordered a cookie butter latte which I have ordered multiple times before and was excited to take a cute picture of my drink however it looked like cookie crumbles were dumped all over the top of the drink. I would understand if it was a busy morning or there was a line behind me however there was no one else on line when I ordered. I know this is not their standard as I have been here multiple times in the past. This also is not the first time this happened but the previous time I attributed it to coming at a later time and close to closing time.
This is my first time in this cafe and I’ve heard good things about it so I wanted to try and see for myself. Sadly, I ordered their iced strawberry matcha and I was extremely disappointed. Not only was it expensive for its price 7$ + additional for the oatmilk BUT I didn’t taste any hint of strawberry AT ALL. Sure you can taste the matcha but the strawberry? Non existent. I don’t know if its the same for their coffees but I’ve had better matchas and sadly might not be going back here anymore.
It's a shame the staff member here was spreading rumors about the customers, because the other staff was really a great barista and the latte here is otherwise really good. The bad taste in my mouth of hearing misinformation being shared about me while trying to get some work done here was enough for me to warn others not to support this place. My only kink is karma for the record. Spread facts and love, or espresso instead of half baked rumors. Tell the staff here not to talk down on their customers, or at least do so in private .. I would hate for someone else to have to go through the experience the staff member here put me through. The poor barista who poured a quality latte stood confused and it's a shame they don't get a five star review because their coworker has no respect.
We often go to this place. But lately, every time we visit, the staff has been terrible. Like this morning, when we asked for cutlery for three (THREE!!)plates of croissants, the staff only gave us one pair. I know this isn't a big deal for some people. But for us, it's a big deal! Just asking, "How many cutlery pieces do you need won't ruin your day, right? Come on!" I haven't expected your friendliness at the ordering desk in a long time! But please be nice when people ask for what they need at your cafe!
