The best peruano food 5 start
The food has been consistently delicious and fresh for the 20+ years that I’ve been eating here. It’s an Elmont staple.
Best chicken we have ever eaten. And the green sauce and sangria is delicious! Great service and fair prices.
If you're looking for great rôtisserie chicken Millenium Chicken has what you need. I usually take food to go and it never disappoints. The sides are outstanding: I highly recommend the yellow rice and beans and tostones.
I grew up in the neighborhood, so I’ve eaten here many times… And it has been consistently fresh and delicious. The chicken is always well seasoned, and the green sauce is absolutely divine. The prices are affordable and the portion sizes are great. A half chicken can feed two people. I’ve went in person and ordered through Uber Eats, and appreciate how they package the food. They will get a customer out of me for life.
This is my go-to spot for chicken, sweet plantains, and beans and rice. Food and prices are great. Fast and efficient service.
Great food .....everyone loves their green sauce its the best the rotisserie chicken its fresh and full of flavor the rice and beans goes perfectly with the chicken and green sauce also love the other food they have here but feel like the chicken. And the rice is the best so far....i normally goto Jackson heights to get their food and green sauce but this is rhe closest and its really good great flavors.
Yesterday I was introduced to this Peruvian restaurant by a friend of mine from Florida. When you walk in there is a waiting area for take out orders. When you proceed through the next door there is a seating area for people who want to dine in. The rotisserie chicken with the rice and beans with a side of fried plantains are amazing. It is served with wonderful mouth tingling sauces. I washed the food down with Inca Kola, the Golden Kola. I highly recommend this hole in the wall.
The food is great, but overpriced for the portions. I ordered what was called a large tray of Chaofan Rice for four people. But it was only the amount of a small pint worth of rice... I'm not even kidding. Worst part about it, we paid $17 for it.
This place is great! Delicious Peruvian soul food. However there are sometimes when they sell you leftover food from the day before. This food has extra salt and probably bacteria. Portions to go are smaller especially for the chaufa and orders of tostones and yucca. Friendly staff.
Food was ok. When I ordered my food I intended on staying there being that my car was getting serviced across the street. The women who took my order seem either rude or unaware. Not sure. I was standing there for a min or two before she looked up and said hold on. Then I ordered and she just continued to do what she was doing before. So I sat down. She calls me over when my food is ready and it’s in a to go box. I pay and then she walks away. I see a bag behind the counter and assume it’s mine in the to go box. I move aside unsure because I’m not expecting she wants me to reach over the counter to get my food. She walks back and notice I’m still standing there then tells me oh that’s yours. I shake my head in confusion. I sit down to eat she comes for my table and tells me next time I eat there tell her I’m staying because they don’t allow people eating out of the to go boxes here. 🤔🤔 then tells me she’ll let it go this one time. Like she doing me a favor.... she didn’t ask me if I wanted to eat in or not. I watched how she attended to other customers and it was different. She asked them if they were dinning in or not. Probably won’t be eating there again. I’m big on customer service. I could be dramatic but uncomfortable after that as the workers passed and looked at me speaking in Spanish.
This place sucks. It used to be great back in the day. I’m only here about five years ago and there was a roach on the wall. Against my better judgment? I went in here a few nights ago. I was in a pinch. So I thought to myself? Maybe five years it has changed. I ordered a half a chicken? She told me they didn’t have any half chickens, lol. They only had whole chickens at the time. I asked her if her knife was broken. This was after standing there for 15 minutes and letting Two other people go ahead of me. And when I pointed out that I was there first? Not only did she get annoyed? She tried to tell me that they were already there. Not understanding? But this white boy speaks a decent amount of Spanish. Place was filthier than ever. I wouldn’t even come in here to use the bathroom.
I feel like they give adequate service to their own latino customers.... why are they giving 3 small green sauce with a whole chicken meal ...
Honestly I used to come here a lot but the last few times the chicken was dry and overly seasoned. It used to be fresh and they only thing they have going good for this place is the green sauce I believe it’s the only reason people come back
Ordered fish. Opened the container the worst fishy ammonia smell filled up the room, cut it open to inspect.. looked liked worms were starting to form. Disgusting!!!! Straight trash!! Serving old spoiled fish. Do not eat from here. Former long time customer.
The chicken is always delicious but we had a very poor experience last night. After arriving 27 minutes after placing the order, I waited an additional 20 minutes inside the restaurant for my order. My order was for two millennium combos, 1 order of maduros and 1 order of tostones. After finally receiving my order, I arrive home to see both of my combos bean containers were missing. When I tried to call they did not answer. When I drove back they were closed at 10:05. They're restaurant site on google states they are open until 11:00pm. I called today (the following day) and the woman on the phone told me she was not there yesterday and I have to wait to talk to the manager one day during the week when she comes in. We are feuding the charge through our bank to subtract the $7.00 bean containers ($3.50+$3.50) for our order. Very unprofessional. Very sad that you pay over $50 for two orders and not recieve the items included and recieve poor customer service. Lost loyal customers. *CHECK YOUR BAG BEFORE YOU LEAVE*
The only reason I gave one star to this restaurant is due to the service I received today. On a good day everything is amazing. The food is great and the staff are friendly. Today 8/13/18 around 2:30pm a friend and I were waited on by an older adult woman, around 50 years old. This waitress was on her cell phone the entire time, from the moment I walked in. She was not only texting but talking on her cell phone. She did not give us silverware to eat our food and did not get our order correct; most likely due to her distraction. Normally I would not give a bad review but I have been going to this restaurant now for more than a year, bringing my friends and family and every time I see this waitress she is always on her phone. If it was an emergency or if she was having a bad day I could understand. But it seems like she’s been having a bad life.
I was served a whole snapper with seafood sauce and found a hair in my meal, I made the waitress aware of the situation and she left to inform another staff member but no one returned to the table. After waiting for 20 minutes I called over another waitress and informed her of the situation. The waitress asked if I wanted another meal but I was already pretty turned off by the experience that I declined. She then brought me the bill and did not even take the meal off of the total. I let her know that I didn't even eat the meal after finding the hair and she called the owner and she was told to take off only half off. This is not what I would expect from a professional establishment also I find it very unsanitary that this happened to begin with. I won't be returning after this.
Their food is good. However, when you are placing large orders and spending so much money, they are extremely stingy with giving you an adequate amount of their green sauce. They treat their sauce like its worth the price of liquid gold. On several occasions, me and several of my family members have made large orders of over $200 worth. Usually 10 whole chickens or more. They try and give you a pint of the green sauce. Seriously? Then when you ask for more, they give an attitude and then charge you nearly the price of a chicken for a quart.
