Great service and food.

I went thru the drive thru I got my chicken sandwich and a lemonade 😋 sure wish they had ice coffee. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get.

I think this is by Legoland. Ever hear the expression, you get what you pay for. Well, you do. Its expensive but you get your money's worth. Few places have juicy, delicious burgers and this one they had one. I think it was the double patty. I always eat spicy food. However, not this time because it would ruin hiw good yhe hamburger was. It was worth it.

If you need to lose body fat just eat hamburger patties they're about a buck 50 a piece just eat about eight or nine of those in one day and nothing else if you do that for a few weeks you'll lose fat like crazy it's better than keto look up protein leveraging on the internet

This particular location hardly ever has costumers... I think it's due to the fact that alot of the local homeless people hang out outside there... I personally take advantage of the situation and go right to the drive-through and I am in and out in about 5 minutes... I always get my favorite, California classic and onion rings and don't forget the large Oreo shake... Yay yay!

Carl's Jr in Encinitas is awesome they're always so pleasant so helpful and that it's always clean and nice they're there to help you and I couldn't ask for a better Carl's Jr to have in that sanitas they are super thank you so much for being here their burgers are awesome always fresh their fries are always fresh they're always very good

I work construction in all encinitas, del mar, carlabad area and i buy from this establishment about 2 or 3 times a week today i come in for a Quick break fast only had 5 dlls for a small Burger cashier charged me for the Burger and gave me a small fríes and drink on the house Need more People like her

When I visited Carls Jr I felt the General Manager went out of her Way To Make My dining Experience Exceptional. She recommended I try the big Carl .. My Burger was hot and juicy. And Music Play ed My Favorite Station.. the cashier checked on me during my visit to ask if I needed anything . You do not see this kind of service anymore . I'm glad I stoped at this location I will definitely return. I toped off my visit with a Oreo shake which was aslo filled with a bunt of Oreos Thank you carls Jr For keeping the service and quality a top priority.

We don't eat fast food much and I can't recall the last time we ate at Carl's Jr. Our food was great! Chicken strips were fresh. My husband enjoyed the hand-breaded chicken sandwich as well. My daughter asked if we could go everyday...lol.

Kind service hot fries. We messed up and accidentally added mayo to our order. My kid has allergies so we meant on the screen to x no mayo. They fixed it for free.

The woman who waited on us was super friendly. The place was very clean, which is not always the case for fast food places (as we all have experienced). It wasn't very busy because it was the night before Thanksgiving, but it hoppin' when we went by two days later.

Great fried Zucchini. It's a clean comfortable fast food place along the I -5 and Santa Fe Avenue. Service is pleasant. Good place to make a quick stop along the way to where you're going.

Good burgers, except for the Beyond Burger. Don't waste time or money on that one;if you want a burger that tastes like beef, eat a BEEF burger! Good sides, shakes, and coffee.

I don't know the area, but I hate having to get a code to use the restroom at any restaurant. Makes me wonder if I shouldn't be in this part of town.

I went in the morning about 8:30. It was very pleasant. There were quite a few older couples enjoying their breakfast. It was a wonderful atmosphere. Best experience I've had at Carl's Jr.

Food was good, Servers were friendly and quick. I tried the jalapeno poppers (I had been told they were really hot) and they were fantastic! Not too hot at all, but with a nice "bite". I recommend this store. Only negative is you have to get a token from the staff to use the bathroom. Bathroom was fairly clean. 🤨

Don't like that. We still have to have a quarter on the bathroom but everyone that works here is amazing. Always great about being positive even though you need to fix* the drive-through speaker for them

Service was good, they had fresh ingredients and made it fast. I got the California classic it was bland and the onky thing you could really taste was the lettuce.

Good little stop to get some food after being on the road for long while but they need to address their bathroom. It was a little too dirty for my tastes.

The food is just ok. It's kind of sloppy and the meat is prepared ahead of time and reheated. Friendly service though and the management is very accomodating.

Angus Burger was smaller than expected and they only have a small shake now. Burger + small fries and that small shake were over $12. Way too much.

This Carl's Jr was alright. It was very slow when we were there. The place was empty and they seemed to have a full crew but most of the booths were dirty.

Pay toilets, waited several minutes while they retrieved tokens. Expected pay restroom to be spotless, yet towels on floor, graffiti, broken tiles. Older location, but guarantee would not pass muster with Carl K. I know, mom worked at several locations 20+ years ago for 20+ years. Western burger okay, yet precooked burgers are just too dry.

What do expect from any franchise food joint? Do any of this type, really cook fresh proteins on site? And if so it's frozen microwaved after it thaws out or it's sat around for a while. Unwrap pre-made. Ever looked at the menu picture to what served compare "YUCK". I remember some years back . You cud smell it from ur car. I don't see how these places have customers $17 dollars later for a bun burger & chicken w/ rings Food is so preserved w/ additives & junk taste test flavors it's a joke. If ur ever thinking about eating healthy DNE!. I'm not just talking about this restaurant either. Thr all the same w/ very few exceptions. How can ppl enjoy garbage made by our fast food industry? Again not all, but most!

I despise the AI drive through, it is not convenient or accurate. So much so I doubt I’ll be using it again. I’ll take my business to places that employ people, not robots.

This is the first time I've been charged when I asked for jalapeños on my burgers. Worse, they were chintzy with them. I love Carl's but I'll go to another one next time.

Pros: Good food, nice staff, quick turn around usually Cons: if you order foods for more than one person you need to check and make sure they got your order right before you leave because it's like 50/50 that they'll get it right. The bathroom was a mess.

I've always liked Carl's Jr. In this particular location the food & service were very good but the place was dirty (tables & floor) and it wasn't busy to say that they didn't have the chance to clean up. That's why I only give them 3 stars.

The reason for 3 star is the ability of the one person to serve 5 people ordering inside and drive thru. But other than that, this place is short staffed. I literally saw just two people working and it took us 15 mins to get our food from there moment we ordered through drive-thru, and there was only 3 cars in front of us. Awful management, I say. They need to step it up, since Carl's Jr have great food.

What do you expect from me. I'm only human. Stop judging what I eat! I got the meatless beyond burger with fries. The drive thru clerk was very sweet and attentive to needs. It's fast food, hard to earn 4 or 5 stars. If I was hungry I would go back.

Employees are friendly but seem to be oblivious to anyone at the counter waiting for service. I stood there forever, trying to get her attention while she was tapping on trays and counters with her back to me before she realized I was there. Kinda funny, but I was waving to get attention & one of the prep ladies in the kitchen waved back, I guess thinking I was just trying to say hello

Ordered 4 breakfast sandwiches with the 2 for 1 deal that I saw on TV. The deal was posted nowhere on the menu. The guy said that I could still get the deal. I also ordered French toast sticks. Went home and opened the bag to find 2 breakfast sandwiches, not 4, and then then French toast sticks didn't come with any maple syrup. No napkins either! How a fast food place with service like this got 3.6 stars is beyond me.....

Super slow service, the but the food was okay I guess. the weirdest thing about it was the locks that they have on the bathrooms. I understand they want to keep homeless people out and stuff like that, but it seems a little over the top. You had to get a coin from the counter in order to get into the bathroom. Not very convenient, and the bathroom wasn't really clean. I guess I shouldn't expect much from a fast food restaurant.

I graduated the high school nearby years ago and frequented this location back then. Thought I’d stop in for an early lunch. A so-so experience. The food wasn’t bad at all. I love the chicken Santa Fe sandwich, And this one was good. Just a bit more lettuce was my only thought. The place does show its age though, and it appears a little disheveled inside. I used to own a few quick, serve restaurants, and was also the food safety manager, so I am probably just a little hyper critical. My main concern with the service. I will start by saying I do not like AI drive-through ordering. So impersonal. And I felt like the woman who came to the window, made me wait a long time, and could not close the window and be done with me fast enough. She wanted absolutely nothing to do with speaking to me. And if she felt there was a language barrier, I speak fluent in Spanish, all she had to do was ask. I know that she did the same for the next few patrons, but then was a little friendlier or to a Hispanic customer. Whatever🤷🏻‍♂️

To slow when you picking up the order it's not ready for delivery... order with juice always forgot to put the straw so the costumer blame to delivery man..

I order the same thing at every Carl's Jr I go to. This location charges more than all the others in the area. Bathroom requires token to use, yet it still looks and smells like people have urinated everywhere in there.

They kept my credit card a lot longer than any other similar place has. And when I asked for it back they said they hadn't swiped it yet. Going to bank to cancel that card

Food was overcooked and skimped on the burger. Carl's junior usually costs more, but you get a good meal. Not the case here.

The automated service does not work. It didn’t take my order correctly even though it repeated it. It does not account for any substitutions or requests. Why is the drive thru taking 30 mins?

Not my normal experience at Carl's Jr. We ordered two bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast burritos and both of them came with catsup smeared on the outside of the tortilla but inside the wrapper meaning poorly cleaned prep surfaces. Yuck! Mine also had some other flavor inside that was not bacon, egg, cheese, or tortilla. Very disappointed. Check your food before you drive away!

Came, ordered my food two or three other guys order. I sit and wait and watch the girl that took my order serve the other guys... I politely ask if mine still not ready yet because I already nee something was up.... long story short she gave my burger to wrong guy who had already taken a bite of it so I had to wait longer for a new order... annoyed as hell but food was good...

Took 30 min to get our order, and it wasn't even crowded inside or drive thru. The worst was when the manager opened my breakfast sandwhich, which was already made, took out the sausage to put on another person's order because it was ready. And when it was brought to her attention, she acted like it was something that was normal. The biscuits were dry and kept crumbling all over the place. The best thing about the meal was the breakfast tots.

Please stop using the ai ordering machine at the drive thru. It can barely understand what the person is ordering and is constantly inundating the customer with advertisements and questions that don't even sound like questions. I had to repeat my order three times in order to correct the machines mistake and there was a person working there with legitimately no line so it is a little inexcusable to me to have a human worker be so lazy as to just let ai do his job for him when all he had to do was take an order. Just an embarrassing establishment, and only ever gets business when in n out is too busy if I had to guess. Train your employees better and stop using ai robots at the drive thru

Fries were left out of our order. We kindly asked the employee at the window to replace our drinks as they tasted like syrup was low. The supervisor came to the window and said rudely, "There is absolutely nothing wrong with my drinks so we won't be replacing them. Do you want something else?" My passenger also tasted her drink and it tasted off. I would not recommend this location.

This Carl's Jr. store is very accessible, right off the freeway. However, both bathrooms were dirty & had a very unpleasant odor. The women's restroom didn't have any hand soap. The employees were nice and friendly & the food was delicious. We were only given two napkins though when we picked up our drive-thru order. Two napkins just didn't cut it for an order for six people.

I stop here on my way to work sometimes, but only if I'm running early because this is one of the slowest fast food places I've ever been to. It's not always my order that's slow, but there will be consistently someone in line who's order will be extremely slow, and that's assuming they get your order right at all. Some workers here have accents so this that they might as well not be speaking English. Some people think it's a sin to mention something like that, but I don't think I should have to say 'number 2' multiple times and then be given the wrong size or drink or sandwich anyway. It's a convenient location for me, but I generally avoid it.

Slowest Carl's Jr that I have ever been to. It took about 5 minutes to get our order entered due to communications barrier? And then another 10 minutes to make our food. These slow service occured at about 10 am on a Sunday morning. Otherwise the food came out hot and fresh. Will not return.

If your not in the drive thru you are not a priority. 15 minutes for a chicken club and jalapeno poppers. 7 cars were served while I waited. It was ridiculous

Sorriest breakfast burrito of all time; deflated, meager filling, mostly tortilla. Took a bite and got a mouth full of steamed flour. And, the “bacon” in burrito was the same bacon in the “sausage” breakfast biscuit I ordered; one half of one strip of limp, greasy bacon that, and I wouldn’t have thought this possible, made the entire biscuit not worth eating. If you like your mouth, don’t start the day by assaulting it.

Food was blessed. Lady was rude. Ordered a dr. Pepper with my food tasted like carbonated water. Onion rings very salty. My bread seemed halfway warm. That automated machine in drive thru is not helping out. They need more people for a better service.

I was visiting a family member in the hospital and glad to see restaurant was still open being we had made it in prior to closing. I also noticed someone else was still eating. She took my aunt and my order then told us we had to leave. Why didn't she allow us to stay considering someone else was already in the restaurant. I was late and ended up having to eat in the hospital parking lot. Horrible customer service.

Store is advertised to open at 6:00am. Signage on door indicates same. I arrived at 6:10am and doors still locked with no exterior lights on. Evidently this location doesn't have adequate staffing or perhaps bad store Mgr. Update: at 6:15 someone finally turned the lights on. At 6:20am a female employee finally acknowledged my presence (I'd been waiting at the door since 6:10am). She made some sort of circling gesture with her hand (I guess to instruct me to use the drive-thru?). Sorry, I don't eat in my car. Apparently they don't need my business. I drove a few blocks away to McD's. The food isn't as good, but at least I can depend on them to be open as advertised. Sorry Carl- I won't be back.

I used to love this place ...best Western Bacon in town. Now employees are on their phone while they take your order and mess the order up. Over it!

The food is standard Carls Jr. But the service is terrible. The service is slow and the staff is incapable of getting even the simplest special order correct. So if you have a picky eater in your group, give this place a pass.

Passing through this last Friday July 23rd 2021 we had the worst food we've ever had my wife threw her food away and her soda tasted like some kind of chemical was in it. I barely finished my food and threw it out also. Needless to say we got food poisoning a day later and still hurting on Tuesday. Maybe health department needs to visit!

Service is Sloooow for a fast food joint, food is whatever all drinks taste like they've been watered down ketchup as well. Carls Jr. usually has napkins salt n pepper at their tables, not here. Expensive truck stop quallity restaurant!

Terrible service- cashier got my wife's order wrong twice. Charged me the wrong amount at first, then had to run my card again for the balance, charging me for two card transactions. The girl who brought our food looked like she was going to fall asleep on our table. The dream is dying at this location!

Drive thru opens at 6am was there at 5:50am and figured I could wait 10 minutes only to find the employees getting there at 6 and not being there earlier to be prepared. Then after waiting about 4 minutes in the drive thru line I was told they were still closed and trying to "learn" the new system. As I drove around the front of the store, upset obviously, I could see the employees laughing at me for my frustration. This is the only Carls Jr where I've had such a terrible experience.

The drive through ordering automation sucks! Stop asking me so many questions and trying upsell me to everything else on the menu! And stop playing Mexican music in the lobby. We are in the USA!

Staff at the window was very pleasant, no idea what happened to the cook today. Ordered a breakfast burger, and receive something that was technically correct, all the pieces were there, however patty was too cold to even melt the cheese, soggy & gray. Like the worst highway diner ever. Not up to Carl Jr.'s standards.

I went in to pick up and order for Uber, and was going to pee. I walked right in then right back out. No amount of cleaning could make it NOT smell like mold... Corporate needs to get on that, it's a health hazard. I can feel my lungs hurting from just a couple of seconds of the mold exposure. Do better!!

I’m genuinely shocked this place is allowed to stay open. Decrepit and mold everywhere! You can smell it as soon as you get close to the building, let alone inside. They just seem to paint over it most places. Only clientele was the landscapers working locally. Shame on management.

AI Bot at drive thru speaker takes your order. No real humans. Of course it took my order down wrong, and forget about customizing a combo like with waffle fries or drink. Or adding sauces. Don't spend a few minutes trying to get an order in with the bot, drive to the window and again no humans interact with you. They ignore the car. I drove off after wasting several minutes talking to an ai bot at the speaker and being ignored by employees inside. The app kept freezing after I tried to add a 2nd combo to my cart, which is why I bothered with the drive thru at all.

The schedule on Google and the store clearly states that this Carl's Jr. opens at 6 am. I suggest a time correction on the store schedule. 6:05am bars still on the drive thru window, no answer at the speaker. I know it's hard to find good help, so just change the time so the public knows when to arrive....

This place is a joke. has some of the worst and crappyest people/ customer service . Walk in, the tables look like someone took a big dump on them; trash and half eaten burgers literally smeared on the table. walk up to the counter to order and the guy sees me but is texting. I waited for 2 minutes before a young lady came and helped me.... but she was just as bad as the dude. After ordering I asked for the receipt, and she turned around and said “seriously? “ as if I was doing something wrong. My buddy was in the drive through, and he had the same thing happen to him. I opened up my burger and there’s a finger hole in it...... like that’s just disgusting We ended up leaving, and went somewhere else.
